WhatsApp is popular free messaging client which is available for iOS, Android, Nokia and Blackberry, but still we have no client for Windows PC officially released by the WhatsApp team. Well you can imagine having WhatsApp on your PC and how fast you will be able to send and receive text messages as you always be on one device so you can handle everything right there. So we found an unofficial client which is supposed to be a dummy version of Android running on your PC.

Step 1: Download and Install BlueStakcs App Player.
Download the BlueStacks App Player
BlueStack Download
Follow the onscreen instructions. BlueStack requires a Core2Duo PC with 2GB RAM and Windows 7 / Vista with .NET framework 3.5 so make sure your PC is up to date
Now go ahead and launch the app. and complete the instalation.
Download WhatsApp APK – it is a 4.6mb download from WhatsApp.com/Android
Save the file where you can get to it.
Step 2: Installing and Configuring WhatsApp for PC
When Bluestacs is installed you can merely double click on the WhatsApp.APK file and it will install WhatsApp automatically.
WhatsApp icon is now on the BlueStack player home screen..
Step 3: Verify WhatsApp for PC
Now if you have installed WhatsApp previously you will know the installation instructions that follow. If not it is simple enough. Agree to the Ts & Cs.
Enter your country code and then your mobile number. if it asks you for a phone verification or a text message, select “TEXT MESSAGE”. with your code.
This text message had your verification or activation code in it. WhatsApp will ask you for this code. Enter it to activate WhatsApp on your PC.
WhatsApp is now Installed on your PC.
If you had WhatsApp on your mobile phone it will no longer work, it will give you a verification error. Should you click on verify again, then your installation of WhatsApp on your PC won’t work.

AirDroid does that too and it does that wirelessly. You can take screenshots, use your device's main camera directly from your desktop, you can install/uninstall apps, you can send text messages from it, you can transfer music/videos/photos/files to and from it etc. No ADB or stuff like that is required.
[INTRODUCTION]
Hi, maybe you remember me for "ModernBack changer" and "ModernApp link" (two tools for Windows 8, now useless)
I want to open this thread to let you know Modern Explorer:
this is one of the first "almost complete" file manager for Windows Phone 8.1.
With this application it's possible copy/cut/paste/rename/share (bluetooth/nfc/apps) files in almost every public folders into phone.
(music, videos, documents, pictures, ringtones and downloads are included).
Also include a full access SD Card option (every visible file and folder will be shown)
This app supports starting vocal commands, can show files with three views and support picture and video thumbnail.
It's possible to pin to start files and folders, you can select multiple files too.
Zip support and bugfixes will arrive soon with 1.2 version
Other details are available into description into the store and into the application help

I've openend this thread, because I need feedback and translations too. You can contact me via MP for translations (I can't offer money for translation unfortunately)

Download from Google Play Store
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lightmypi
The app communicates with your Raspberry without using SSH nor WebIoPi
You need to install a web server, PHP handler and wiringPi and switch.php file on your raspberry to get this app working.
I have given a detailed guide on github along with switch.php file
github.com/juniorhero/raspberrypi2
Read more on Github
If you install Weaved on HTTP port 80, then you can access the GPIO pins from anywhere in the world using LightMyPi app
I am sure you will like this app, please try it and let me know if you face any difficulties :fingers-crossed:
Have you done more development on this?
Could you share Android App source code so we can hack as in our DIY project. Please.
I've followed the directions on github, however when I run the weaved-nixinstaller_1.2.13.bin I choose option 2 and it sets up port 80 OK but then it asks for my Weave email address and password. I gave it my email and invented a password, but then it says:
You are missing a valid session token and must be logged back in.
I also installed the Android app lightmypi, however there is no place to enter an email and password, so it's very confusing how the Android app is supposed to connect to my pi. Probably the issue is with the weaved-nixinstaller not finishing correctly.
I did some Google search and discover that I have to first create a Weaved account online, however they are not accepting new accounts, rather they direct me to setup an account at www dot remot3 dot it. What a run around.
Any help is appreciated, because I am so close to testing this all out.
Hello everyone,
a) My guess is, it might a problem with the drivers. I installed some LG programes earlier, already deinstalled it... But, Maybe you know better how to renew the Android drivers on the Mac and get rid off the stuff which probably blocks me from having the file transfer function again.
b) do you know at least any other (free) Programe that uses ADB to connect the phone to Mac?
c) something I have not thought of... You tell me
Once it was possible to connect the phone to my Mac and transfer files with Android File Transfer. Now it is not. I tried several other programmes, none can connect to the phone via MTP (for file transfer).
When I chose not "data transfer" but "photo transfer" as an option in the phone, the Photo app on Mac opens and I could trnasfer photos - so it works!
But I need file transfer....
I have and try several cables. Phone works without any problems with windows.
The only thing works now for transfering files via cable is MacDroid, which can connect the phone via ADB insetad of MTP. --> Problem: it costs money (and why should it now work in MTP in the first place).
The phone generally is found by the computer:
View attachment 4950209
I use as OS "El Capitan". On the phone Android 9.0. Phone LG G6
Thank you!
PS: The phone even asks me if I want the Mac to authorize:

}
PS2: Macdroid works with the phone even in MTP Mode when Debugging is deactivated. So what is this... I do not get it.
Guys, girls, anybody, please give me a hint, think with me, tell me where to look for answers ...
Finally... I knew it was some ****ty LG Software... I installed all the LG Software I could find on their website. Plus some dirver they provided. And THIS time, I deinstalled them using their own tool. Now it works again...
I think I had installed something earlier and then just deleted it or something.
So in short, it was necessary do install and UNINSTALL the LG drivers from their website.
This will not give you the opportunity to make a full backup, but it will partially allow you to get into the cloud and save your data. I was able to create a backup on the Honor 50 and after that I restored it on the Huawei tablet.

1. Naturally, you must have Huawei HMS Core services
2. Perhaps there should be a frame
3. Install this version of the cloud (you can't update, only it works)
4. After installation, immediately open and give all permissions except geolocation (I gave it to it, but it seems to me that it interferes)
5. To log in to the cloud, you have two options
1: Through the button in the curtain
2: Installation Manager tab in AppGallery
6. Two buttons do not work, "Settings" and "Memory Management", you should not touch them - the cloud flies out of control
7. We saw the cloud, but they don't allow us to make a backup, the program writes an error both during recovery and when trying to create a backup, the "System Dispatcher" prevents us from doing this.
8. In developers, we set to allow debugging and debugging only when charging. Install ADB AppControl on the PC, connect the phone through it and remove the ADB "System Dispatcher".
9. After the backup, the dispatcher must be returned, without it we lose battery control, etc.
The data is saved only partially: contacts, messages, photos, videos and some programs. I can't save the settings because the dispatcher is turned off. I'm sorry, I'm writing through a translator, I hope it's clear.
Hey there I'm trying to install the cloud app into my honor 50 but I'm always getting this error. Do you have any idea what is the conflicting app? is a while that I am trying to figure it out but I am unable. T

I had a conflict if I tried to install "Files" from Huawei first. If you did not install this, then try to install from a third-party file manager, I put all of the X-plore.
