Dear all expertise !
In my last post, I'm asking about translation of android apk. and i'm translating googlemap apk. I've done one. thanks to all the post of all of you.
But after translate to my language I've found that in the map is always connect to USA map as default. Can I change the server to connect to my country map while there is available for browsing. maps(dot)google(dot)com(dot)kh
Can I change it, and if so, how can I change.
All of your reply would be appreciated.

I'm not sure, if I understand you correctly, but setting up a map in java is done by controler. You can use controler.animateTo(x,y), where x and y are the coordinates, where you want the map to start displaying itself.

Hi,
My family and I are going to Dominican Repulic where they speak spanish. Is there a windows mobile app that you can speak into and have it say in a different language what you just said in English? I saw the Google translator app with conversation on youtube but can't find much to download on the internet. I have an HTC Tilt2 with AT&T. i tried downloading a program called Anuvadak but its not working right on my Tilt2. I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks, MC.

Hello
I have faced one problem with Google Voice Search. I need it to recognise polish language (and that's not problem - works perfectly), buy I have also noticed, that Voice Search recognises that language, which is set as system language.
That's very annoying, beacause a lot of great ROM's here do not have polish support, which means that I will not be able to use Voice Search (talking in English isn't any problem for me, but using it for looking for polish websites etc. is almost impossible).
So, my main question: is there any option to set the language recognised by Google Voice Search manually ? Or it always recognises the language, which is set as system language ?
Thank you for your help and replies
I need to see english comments, but I see those of the country where I live.
I did know how to change it before, it was on the footer, but its not here anymore.
Please help...
Thanks
Try changing your google account's primary language to English from google.com/settings/account and then re-sync the device.
Just a blind shot from me but worth the try!
Greetings. I am new to this forum and i am sorry if i make some mistakes.
I am developing a network that will have a welcome screen right after the Wifi connection of the device. The welcome screen is an html file that is downloaded from the router. When i try this system on IOS platform a captive portal screen (pseudo browser) is launched and read the HTML file.
Android platform on the other hand is only pop up a notification that is required to tap in order to open the html file (launching an installed browser)
Is it possible to force the device to automatic launch browser without poping the notification?
Thank you.

Hi,
Are you still looking into this? I am having the same needs for my application. I have done some research already and got it working on some versions of Android.
Do you want to talk about it?

Hey guys,
I hope I can find help here.
I bought KotoR on the play store for my phone. Sadly the dub language is only English, but I want it in German, like I played it back on my X-Box.
I also bought it years ago on PC, because of that I have the German speech files.
Now I thought, I could just open the apk file (winrar) and exchange the English dub and videos, with my German files (which also have higher quality), repack it to a zip and rename it to "apk". Of course, it doesn't work that way. It tells about parsing failure.
I've read into it and found out about compiling n stuff and loaded bunch of programs, but tbh, if you have no clue what to do.. no way. Tried it with YouTube and all, but it's not working that way.
Is there someone who could tell me, how to do it properly?
Or if possible, is there someone who knows about it and could do that for me?
Thanks!
Anyone please?
