Hi,
My family and I are going to Dominican Repulic where they speak spanish. Is there a windows mobile app that you can speak into and have it say in a different language what you just said in English? I saw the Google translator app with conversation on youtube but can't find much to download on the internet. I have an HTC Tilt2 with AT&T. i tried downloading a program called Anuvadak but its not working right on my Tilt2. I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks, MC.

I remember sometime in 2009, when google navigation was restrict to US, some people used to Hack it to make it work outside the US...
Nowadays, Voice Action is restrict in english... The app is there.. if I change my locale settings to English US, it works... But when I set it back to portuguese, it only works in search mode...
I was then wondering if it was possible to hack it to make it work in other languages, since it can already recognize speech pretty well in portuguese...
Thanks...
i was thinking the same thing but i dont now if its possible!
if anyone could help?
Hi, I was toying around with google translate voice and have been pretty impressed that I can (clearly) say something then have it translate into another language. Since I work abroad quite often and sometimes get phone calls where at least some assistance with google translate would be really useful.
Is there a way that i can, in more or less real time, have words/sentences being spoken by someone on the other end of a phone call be translated using google translate? (just for clarification, if google translate was able to just take what was being said on the line, and then translate it to text that would be enough; i am not necessarily hoping [yet] for it to translate something someone says into spoken english as someone else speaks another language).
Any ideas would really be appreciated!
Cheers,
-Gaiko
Dear all expertise !
In my last post, I'm asking about translation of android apk. and i'm translating googlemap apk. I've done one. thanks to all the post of all of you.
But after translate to my language I've found that in the map is always connect to USA map as default. Can I change the server to connect to my country map while there is available for browsing. maps(dot)google(dot)com(dot)kh
Can I change it, and if so, how can I change.
All of your reply would be appreciated.

I'm not sure, if I understand you correctly, but setting up a map in java is done by controler. You can use controler.animateTo(x,y), where x and y are the coordinates, where you want the map to start displaying itself.
I love playing some of the Japanese mmorpg games. But i feel i am missong so much by not being able to run quests and do other things the npc requests of me to do. Celrs arca just recently shut down its English version. I would like to know. If there is a translator that works

Honestly that is rather impossible to do and still be legible and quick. Japanese syntax is not the same as English nor is it something that can always just be reworked via algorithm into english. Plus the system resources would be a HOG.
Honestly, this question shows a major ignorance of how different languages work, especially asian ones. You can't just hold up a book or an app and say "I want this in english" and it magically transform. Context cannot be divined by an app, and context is key.
So, short answer: Learn Japanese, more likely to get you what you want.
Hey guys,
I'm kevindsouza and I heard a lot of problem of people who travel to many parts of the country but can't use translation apps as its mostly online based. [emoji14]
So I thought a creating an offline translation app in order to help all the native speakers and such..
Q)Can I change an app's language on the fly?
Anyone interested for helping me translate it?
I mainly know just English and Hindi.
