He = his EVO, so I think it's OTA update...
like video says, i`m a noob, so i don`t know what OTA, CDMA or GSM are.

And if you would take a minute to read the stickies, you would know what all that is. OTA is an update sent to your phone from your carrier. GSM are phones on networks like ATT and T-Mo. CDMA are Sprint and Verizon.

But I realized that I would need root phone but I can not find anywhere instructions on how to do it. Do you have someone with that experience? Can anyone advise me? You can try using super one click (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682) or gingerbreak (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765). I personally have used super one click to root my droid 1 and it worked perfectly. Hope these help

Yes. They are the same phone, as answered many times. The 4G moniker is just something AT&T added because HSPA+ is considered 4G there.

Yes, I had already tested it. 4g Rom work for my Atrix.
