The P6800 internal battery is rated at 5100 MaH and the tab itself needs 2 amps to 'accelerate' charge.
What options are there for external battery kits with similar power storage in reasonable size that could be carried to give a full 24 hour usage on the road between recharges?

This is also a nice product, however the downside is it only outputs 3.7v in which if tries to recharge a 5v rated device it will not be able to supply the whole 10,000mah as advertised since most of the power will be wasted powering up the 3.7v to 5v

It won't. It gives almost 2 charges on Note1.
The energy transfer is far from 100% effective.

Since Amazon refuses to ship the ReVIVE enerG to norway, another alternative to the list..

I have two that I own. For a single charge (or a couple from ~40%-~90%), I use PowerGen 2900mAh UltraSlim Power Bank Charger. It's small enough that if you wanted to you could Velcro it to the back of your Razr and has a built in Micro USB which is handy.
For longer stints away from power (travel, camping, etc.) I have the New Trent iCruiser IMP1000 which gives me 6+ charges and is still fairly compact at 4 x 3.75 x 1.125 in.
Thank you.

I should add that I have found using Juice Defender Ultimate, I rarely have any power issues. With normal use (30 min stream audio, some camera use and pretty frequent use of text/email/checking in on forums) I can easily go all day on a charge. I'm at 12 hrs and 51% right now after a typical day.
So if you haven't looked at JD, I'd recommend it. They have a free version and two paid. You can compare their attributes here. I went with the Ultimate and figured I'd grow into it, which has happened. The more familiar I got with it the more I find myself taking advantage of it's flexibility and options. Definitely a great app!
Here's my review of the New Trent IMP99D. It has a slightly smaller capacity than the New Trent that Sally talked about, but mine can charge two devices simultaneous (provided that the second device is a tablet).

Really? It lasts longer than my Bionic which was longer than my Charge which was longer than my Dinc.
I think that for the size of the phone, the battery life is FANTASTIC! However, if you invest in the New Trent like we have, you'll be happy.
battery life problem
My battery last at most 12 hours under moderate usage.. Is that normal? I really want to get an external battery charger that is below 30$
Where can I get it? Any suggestion

One more vote for the New Trent ^^
check at your Verizon stores for the Motorola external battery pack. The new one has a grey USB cord and sells for $40, but some stores still have the old ones with the blue cord on clearance for half the price (I ended up paying $16.50 total with my company 20% discount). They're the same exact thing as the new one but just with a blue cord. I've been happy with mine, even lent it to a few iphone guys at work to give them a charge.
Also, check stores like Office Depot, etc. in their accessories section. Yesturday I just happened to run across a "iGo" backup charger/portable battery pack (1800 mAh) for $12 on clearance regularly $40.
I tried posting links but I guess noobs on here can't post links.
Anker 5600 mAh slim small, variety of adapters only $39.99 on Amazon.....

Yes, it can be charged via USB.
Fyi, besides the micro USB output charging port with built in cable, there's a micro USB input charging port and a USB female output charging port for charging any device via USB. It also has a LED flashlight.
In about two hours of charging I went from 8% to 41%. Is anyone else experienceing this issue? I'm using all the cords and plugs given to me for the wall.
I don't have the SGS3 (yet), but my guess is that the battery is so large it takes longer to charge. Keep in mind that it's a 2100MaH battery. Depending on the power that the charger puts out, it could take longer to charge this battery than another phone.
Mine charges fairly quick with stock items.

I agree, the first few cycles might not be too accurate. If you want a faster charger get the HP Touchpad charger, it has 2 amps where as the Samsung one is .75 amps of charging. only $5 on hp website. that's what I use.

Monoprice sells a 2.1 amp 4 usb wall charger as well but it is not as cheap nor do they have free shipping *although atleast in CA I can get a flat rate of 25lbs and under for ~$5 shipping.*
I'm surprised no one has posted the correct answer to this yet. The wall charger Samsung has decided to include with the S3 NA is complete and utter crap. I believe it is .15amp draw. You need to immediately throw it in the trash and buy a new one. It is not a problem with your phone.

while I like Monoprice, the HP OEM charger is better in my opinion. its solid built and portable too.

My Samsung Charger that came with the phone is 1Amp...charges the device fine. I don't think the 2Amps will make a difference if the charging chip doesn't support it (not saying it doesn't but the SGSII would only charge at 650maH no matter what charger you put it on)
Mine's charging insanely fast with the stock cable. Not sure if it's a good thing because battery life isn't all that amazing on my phone so far.

doesn't that mean each USB port is 0.5 amps?
Anyways if I'm not wrong the amps has to do with what it can supply. Whether the device tries to draw that much power is up to the device.
The stock charger is 5V 1amp.
Even if you use a 2 amp charger it will likely only draw one amp.
Even if it does draw 2 amps that would mean you are increasing the heat associated with more current. Heat is the worst thing for battery life. Its always better to do slow charge unless you're in a hurry. Your battery will last a lot longer that way. Having said that, I think 1 amp is a good compromise for speed and heat.
p.s. computers output 0.5amps per USB slot by default specifications.

Could you please give me your opinion on which one you would get for reliability and performance? I personally do not like the hump look on my galaxy note and rather have an extra batteries or power bank when I can't find an AC outlet and for travel. I've narrowed my choice to the following (can't post links; too little post):
Hyperion Samsung Galaxy Note 2 x Battery + Charger [amazon - $19.99]
AnkerĀ® 2x2700mAh Li-ion Battery For Samsung Galaxy Note Batteries for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note + Anker USB Travel Charger [amazon - $24.99]
New Trent IMP120D iCarrier 12000mAh Heavy Duty 2A/1A Dual USB Ports External Battery Pack [amazon - $76.95]
Extra batteries are the best method I've found ...as you can store 2 or 3 in a pocket ....then charge later when you get to a power supply ...g
Extra batteries without a doubt, I have 3 extras so at least 2 are always charged in case of emergency. Very cheap too
I use a solar powered battery backup/charger, got it for only $18 and it already saved me a bunch. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the link though, google search "Solar Powered Backup Battery And Charger"
I have the anker 2 2500ma + charger kit off amazon. Works great. 1 caveat though. The wear and tear on battery cover from.removing the back will eventually wear out the tabs that lock it in place. I have already went through one of the flip cover cases because of this. Currently using the stock cover and notice oonly a little wear at this time.
I have this and love it. http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/detail.jsp?skuId=3386191&pid=1218397307007

I decided to get the New Trent iGeek IMP99D 9900mAh External Battery Pack with free New Trent 5200mAh. It was on special on Amazon. It seemed to be the best for portability and convenience. Had the charger came with the ability to charge 2/3 batteries simultaneously, I would have gone with the extra batteries. I rather plug once over night and be done charging next morning instead of standing by to complete charging and swapping each batteries.

Test results:
Using 2 Amp USB port - 25% to 99% charge took just 5 hours 7 minutes.
Using 1 Amp USB port - 14% to 100% charge took 4 hours and 42 minutes.
Using Samsung supplied charger/cable - 21% to 95% took 2 hours 7 minutes.
Conclusions:
1. No difference in charge rate using 1 Amp vs 2 Amp USB port.
2. Battery pack takes twice as long to charge than the wall charger.
3. 9900mAh gaurantees at least two full charges.
So is this what I shoud typically expect from a 9900 mAh external power pack? Please share your experience. Is there a way to increase my charge rate using the battery pack?

its 35 usd from were I am sitting ..
and it aint about the looks.. that white external charger can double has a battery case and charger.. that is cool to me, could be for somebody else.
and the most important .. those almost universal battery chargers ain't worth a crap , and work like for 2 months and then give their soul to their chinese maker .. I had a few..
And I swear I don't trust those circuits to charge my batt .. that white external charger uses the stock charger or any external powerbank for charge on the go.
I Just think it's worth it , for it gives much more options

Is there any issue in using power banks with different output values other than difference in charging speed?
Thanks.

A 10,000 mah will probably be larger than your note 3, at least length-wise.
This one is very good and it's 13,000 mah. It has IQ ports which will charge are the max rate allowed by your device so it won't undercharge or over charge your phone regardless of whether it's 500mah, 1A or 3A. This one can actually charge at 3A if your device allows it (Not the Note 3 obviously)
Use code: CELLSAVE5 for $5 off, it expires today at 11:59 PM PST.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-2nd-G...ernal-Battery-iPhones-and-iPads-/331280169696
This one is also good. It's more compact but it's only 9,000mah. Lepow also makes great chargers. Like most external battery packs on the market, this one doesn't have the IQ ports so one port charges at 2A and one charges at 1A. There's no port for 3A. You cam also use the previous discount code for $5 off if you prefer the smaller footprint.

If you don't mind a thicker phone, have a look at the ZeroLemon 10000mAh battery.
Otherwise they sell 18600 mAh powerbanks.
also look into iTrent, The iCarrier 12,000mah also charges at 3A max, not sure if they ship to you.
