[FIX][ICS]Bluesleep Fix for all ICS Roms (Enable Deep Sleep!!) - Motorola Droid X2

Hello all!!! This is a Mod that will fix the Bluesleep issue seen on our current Cyanogen Mod 9 build and all ICS Based Roms.
What is Bluesleep you ask?
Bluesleep is a wakelock that is an error on part of the Bluetooth System missing a few binaries. Even if you have bluetooth disabled, you will be affected by this bug!!!
Ok, so how does Bluesleep affect us?
Bluesleep is a wakelock. Wakelocks prevent your system from going into Deep Sleep. From my testing, this is the ONLY wakelock that is still prevalent on our system.
Why did this bug occur?
Normally, an ICS kernel would take care of all of this. But due to us still having a Gingerbread kernel, we still need these binaries.
What are the benefits from flashing this?
Oh, only BETTER BATTERY LIFE! As of now, our phone sits at an idle state of 216Mhz. By flashing this, it enables Deep Sleep, which saves a substantial amount of Battery Life when your phone isn't in use.
Sounds great, but there's got to be a catch.
From my testing, there are no bugs introduced from this fix.
Wait, how thoroughly was this tested??
It was tested for a solid day of good use on MIUI.
It was (sadly) only tested for a few hours on CM9, however my phone did reach Deep Sleep.
SIGN ME UP!!
Download Link
Instructions:
YOU MUST BE ON AN ICS ROM! (CM9, AOKP, Paranoid Android or MIUI)
Boot into BSR
Flash the bluesleep.zip
No need to wipe Data or Cache
ENJOY BETTER BATTERY LIFE!!!
Credit goes to olegfusion and Th3Bill for their findings!! All I did was package it and make the flashable script.

NICE WORK! i wondered why my screen turned off then on so much thought it was smart screen off now i know

Gonna flash this right now thanks so much!

Kick ass! Flashing now.

Thanks for your contribution .

Flashed last night, CPU Spy still says deep sleep is unused, though I was charging. Will the phone go into deep sleep while charging?
Edit: Answered my own question. Phone will not DS while charging. After unplug and reboot, works great. Well done! Can't wait to see what kind of battery I get out of this thing now.

Thanks!

Cut my idle usage by 30-40% so far (calibrated the battery this morning for good measure). Made CM9 much more reliable as a daily driver. Can't thank you enough.

I have never seen such battery life. What I find weird though is blue tooth was on there previously, and it disappeared. Maybe because the percentage is less than 1%

X2... Is this on an ICS ROM? My computer has Linux kernel 3.2, but GB on our phones is still 2.6..... I ran a couple of those ICS leaks, but never checked kernel version. None of them are stable enough for me, though.
Everything works in CleanRom. I had flashed chad's ICS leak kernel so that I could use no-frills cpu control, but some things got borked. No now I'm back on the one below, which does not support setcpu. Battery life is amazing though. I am going to try and use up my battery today, since I could only get it down to 40% yesterday.

Make sure you show your screen on time next time you post. Your first post did show some good battery life, but I can get the same screenshot with using my stock if I do not use my phone barely at all. These screen shots don't show much. The most important one to show is screen on time.

We have a firmware update from Virgin Mobile. Many users have experienced issues with this, I would recommend not updating. The ADSP.img is what is important for booting the Linux 3 Kernel including with these ROMs, this should be generic between Virgin Mobile and Sprint but DO NOT take my word for it. Chad has a test kernel for those without the new firmware which only breaks 3D and USB Mount/ADB if you want to try it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639471

[Q] Battery life under BAMF ICS?

Android 4.03
Sense 3.6
Software Number: 7.00.605.2 71ORD
Kernel 3.0.16-gb1f6156
The flash for BAMF_MECHA_ICS_08212012 is running fine, but my battery life is back to about half a day (like when it was when the TB was first released). Has anyone running this ROM experienced the same issue? how (if at all) did you fix it?

Kinda beats the purpose of having a 4G phone... not to mention an annoyance having to turn it on every time I use a web based app.
I've got to the point where I only use it if I'm downloading a big app or something. The difference in web page loading is barely noticeable. I don't get 4g in most of the areas that I work so I leave it turned off most of the time anyway.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
Yeah that 3-5 seconds it takes to turn it back on can be mindblowing. You would be amazed at how good battery improves on all roms when doing this. I even turn network off. I got 12+ hours out of the leak with stock battery.

You can't fix the battery drain. It's a kernel issue and no way around it. If anyone gets over 12 hours, I'd suspect they were being less than honest by saying that...

If that's directed at me, I did try it, for a couple of weeks. It's a fact, the kernel NEVER allows the CPU to enter sleep mode. Airplane mode, turning off LTE, etc will not help. I've done that plus turned off syncing, GPS, and more and had 30-40% battery drop while I was asleep in bed.
Well nusense had practically all of the ics leak taken out and he is uploading a rebase from the desire s official build so well see how much better the battery life is. If you think about it. Liquid has been working on his build for like 5 or 6 months, maybe longer and nusense may actually surpass it soon in stability. It's almost just as smooth now.

OK guys so I see people getting 7-9hrs screentime on 4g and I don't nearly get that. In just 32minutes of use I lost 7%. I'm on 3g no WiFi gps or BT. Here are some screenshots. I tried clean ROM and jellybeanz with Perseus and stock kernels. Any idea? I'd like as much screen time as possible.
Thanks so much

3g eats a lot more battery from what I have seen...LTE and Wifi are the easiest on battery. That being said I still don't think 3g should be causing that much drain...I bet you have a rogue app since the app usage shows 50%

Download better battery stats and grant it super user rights. Let your phone sit for a couple hours (without touching it) and pay your read out from it here. It seems like you have an app going crazy, but just simply looking at your installed apps won't help.

Open it to grant super user. Then let your phone sit for at least an hour or two. It's best overnight. Then post your kernel wake lock, partial wake locks and alarms.

You had the phone on for 9hrs and only dropped to 93%? Why r u complaining.? 40 minutes screen time at 93% after 9hrs off charger isn't bad at all. If I'm seeing that right.
thats correct, but while using it for a straight 60mins, it drops over 15%
