I'm back in the hospital again, so I'm having a hard time with my searching. And I was hoping that someone could tell me in the right direction to the commands I will need to change h boot from relocked security warning to where it says locked instead of re locked.
Any help would be great as I am in dire need of it.
Thanks

Youll need to s-off and flashy an RUU for it to say locked. Then you can s-on with a simple command.
But don't quote me on this.

Yup, the command in adb is to s-on back, sorry to hear about your hospitalization, stay strong.
Please DO not i repeat, DO NOT flash the jb hboot after s-off or use the unlock file from htc.

You want to make sure your phone is COMPLETELY stock before turning your phone into its S-ON state. This means NO custom recovery, NO custom ROMs, NO custom anything. DO NOT UNLOCK THE PHONE.
After you've made sure the phone is at 100% stock, then type in the command (while your phone is in fastboot, of course):
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
to restore your phone into its S-ON state. Nobody here, including myself, is responsible if you brick your phone because you neglected to make sure your phone was on stock before doing the command.

Are you in HBOOT when you try to relock? You should be. Also if you have a custom recovery you're going to have to RUU.

Easiest way to ignore the mainver is to get the kernel(boot.img) from the RUU or whatever ROM you're trying to flash. Then boot the phone into HBOOT, plug into your pc, and issue the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (In DOS/Command Prompt). That will flash the kernel without dealing with the mainver issue.
Thanks everyone, I finally got the new ota radios and running clean rom 1.6. Patience was the key. I got my mainvers down to 1.00.000.0 as I was referred and WaaLaahttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467099
I apprecaite you guys help. I will be back I guarantee. I love trying out new roms.
Can someone possibly give those of us who aren't s-off the steps to flash either of these roms. Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

I would assume the same way as other roms except after you install the rom, flash gapps as well. Then flash boot.img in fastboot
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Would that cover the kernel as well? I ask because dmeadows says it requires s-off and alludes to ways to do it s-on but didn't give specifics. I'm on my phone only with the XDA app so searching isn't any simple task
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
Yes. It should work like any other rom. I also recommend you s-off soon if you plan on doing it at all before the ota comes out. It saves a lot of headache

How to install without S-OFF:
1) Make sure you are on a currently rooted rom w/ htc dev unlock
2) Run the S-OFF Utility
3) Reflash recovery & fix sd card
4) Install ROM as instructed
lol, pull the boot image from the rom.zip & flash it in fastboot
What con said will work... if you want to know what you are actually doing with some more in-depth instructions then check out this post over at androidforums.com:

I know it is a simple task, except when you are a newbie and get errors you don't know how to fix because you have no idea what they means. I have tried so many times to s-off and always get errors (I don't even remember what they were). So I am still s-on, not because I choose to, but because it does not work for me. I am not very tecchie , I just know how to follow the instructions to root. So I unlocked, my bootloader, and am flashing different roms. But when the instructions are very generic, with the assumption that everyone knows the technical terms and process, some people like me stay behind and remain s-on, even though they would like to get s-off.
The instructions for s-off are as simple as I've ever seen something like this made. Totally step-by-step. You only have to run controlbear and follow the instructions. The only tough part is the wire trick, and they have a video showing exactly how to do it.
My biggest problem in doing it was the wire trick. I tried wire from cat5 and failed repeatedly. I ended up using a piece of coax and got it to work almost immediately.
I flashed CM9 and AOKP the same exact way as I would any other rom with S-ON. Wipe, flash, fast boot boot.img (I just use the resound all in one tool to flash the kernel because it has the built in commands)

There is a little information needed to determine how to proceed. Which hboot are you running, how did you unlock it etc.
my phone went back to "locked" even though it remained rooted when I upgraded from hboot 1.5 to 1.58
As a guess, if you unlocked with the htc method. hopefully you retained the unlock_code.bin file.
If so, you should be able to plug in your phone and use "adb reboot bootloader" to reboot the phone to the bootloader mode
Then I just reflashed the binary file using "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" and the phone pulled up the screen, use vol+ to highlight yes and press the power button
My phone returned to its unlocked state
Hope this is what you are looking for.
Well I originally unlocked it....then I relocked it to get stock ics its update. I now want to unlock again just to get google now with voice fix for ics....but would like to remain stock...my hboot is currently 1.58

Have you tried flashing a new custom recovery? Possibly try downloading Amon RA and flashing via fastboot. with a working recovery you may be able to flash a working ROM/Kernel combo
I'd say ruu it, looks like your on official ota, maybe you want to upgrade to the global ota?
Search for the global ruu. That will set you back to stock. But first, search for hasoon2000's all in one tool for the rezound to help you along with relocking bootloader and flashing a new recovery once the RUU has completed.
Sorry of this is too much for a beginner, it's really not complicated stuff and there are plenty of helpful people on here I'm sure someone would be willing to walk you through it

Squirrel is correct.. if your using windows 7-8. you just have to name it to PH98IMG it doesn't need the .zip cuz its in a zip folder (kind of a space saving thing windows came up with) you'll see the .zip when it start loading on your phone..

I named it properly. It went through the update process and everything. And I reflashed it multiple times with no success. It is s-on with relocked bootloader. After I flashed it it says push power to reboot. It reboots and gets stuck at the HTC logo like before. I've let it on for like 10 minutes with no progress just to be safe. Should I unlock the bootloader and try to flash a recovery, then a rom? Or should that not matter?

Yes, go ahead and use that tool, it has an option to re lock. There will be no consequences.. Once you lock and run the RUU, it will set your phone to stock everything.
So then you will need to unlock again and flash amon recovery again then flash your favorite rom if you choose.
All of these things you can do using that all in one tool that you had linked. Good luck!
