That's a problem with the game itself, they have some bad coding. Try their 6th edition its much smoother.

yes, it's cause of game problem. But I have now on my razr miui rom which is 2.8.31 version and Asphalt 7 is so smoother no problems about low fps. probably miui rom's gpu edited so it's smoother.

Hi there,
I tried the dragon miui and really didn't like it, currently running the official miui version 4. few bugs but very nice at the min

Miui V4 (all flavours) buggy as hell @ the moment. Wait a few weeks/stick to GB for now.
I wouldn't recommend v4 at all. Miui special edition 12 by dragon is the best.

Games stutter like hell on ICS

Hi,
I've been using CM9 for some time and recently updated to stock ICS... I've felt it before in CM9, but thought that it'll be fixed with samsung's update, but it's not. Games, especially 3d games stutter like hell, they are unplayable. I remember I've been playing Dungeon Defenders Second Wave on HC 3.0 and it was perfectly smooth... now? It just sucks. Did anyone else notice it? Why is that so? Is there any way to fix it without downgrading to HC? I use 3G version.
Regards.
I'm on stock ICS and downloaded asphalt 7 yesterday... Runs buttery smooth

Hi,
Did you try, or can try Dungeon Defenders Second Wave, Backstab, or Order & Chaos? Maybe I just keep hiting unoptimized games... Unfortunately I don't have asphalt 7 and Im completely broken right now so I can't buy it and check. But Dungeon Defenders is free. Gameplay itself is not perfectly smooth, but playable. It stutters for example at the beginning of new wave. Would you spare a moment to tell if you have the same, or does your tab perform better? Also, can you tell precisely what version of rom you are using?
I use XXLQ8 rooted and deodexed.
Thank you in advance.

3D Offline RPGs for android!

Heyo!
I'm a gamer, whether on PC, Console and even on Android. Apperantly, I have a habbit of hacking. In this case, I hack android games with GameCIH/GameKiller/GameGuardian. This is because I like to enjoy the game to fullest extent. Anyway, to get to the point, I'm looking for 3D offline RPGs. My taste is like that of God of War, and GameLoft's Wild Blood was probably the best rpg I played offline that is very much like God of War. However it gets very boring after you finish the game. I've also played and finished Earth and Legend. Any other games out there that I can play offline anywhere + able to hack? I've tried Zenonia, Eternal Warriors, and some others, but they ask to terminate a memory hacking program to play or unhackable. Please feel free to suggest off your own experience. Some other games I love and still have are NFS Most Wanted, GTA Vice City, N.O.V.A 3, and the regulars like Subway surfers, temple run etc. THANKS!

AW: 3D Offline RPGs for android!
Aralon - Sword and Shadow (Sequel called Ravensword is hitting play Store, too in some days/weeks. Both can be easily compared to Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Really feels like an Elder Scrolls game.)
Horn (ignore the bad reviews in Play Store, it's because its exclusive for Tegra, but buying is not restricted, so everyone buys, not everyone can play)
Pocket RPG (Really awesome little Action RPG, although it is more action than RPG)
Zenonia, Illusia, Destinia, Inotia and so on (Japanese, well at least japanese styled, RPGs)
Delver (Retro Roque style is in alpha)
Dungeon Explorer / Deadly Dungeons (Dungeon crawler, pretty fun collecting awesome loot, fighting some monsters)
EDIT: Thanks to huzi for reminding me.
Bards Tale (console quality RPG. Completely set to voice by professional actors. Massive story and amazing gameplay and graphics. VERY funny! I had much fun playing it!)

AFAIK, requires android 4.0, so either way is still out of our reach... for now....
EDIT: On Google play for my country, an user claims that version 1.21 is working fine on his LG Optimus 2x (tegra2), so we only need proper ICS (Go! kernel dev team!)

What? I'm already running Jelly Bean. It's not out of reach. I'm able to buy it. Just like Shadowgun Deadzone which requires at least Honeybcomb. I already played Deadzone!

I tried playing it on jellybean, and I got like 5 FPS... Is it too demanding or is it the lack of proper kernel/libs?

I personally don't think so. Think its just too demanding, because other games work as good as on Gingerbread or even better. NFS Shift for example.

Yes but certain games are just broken on 4.0+ for the Atrix. All the ROMs say "graphical bugs" so maybe that has something to do with it? Either way we'll know for sure in a few weeks
I was really looking forward to RavenSword Shadowlands since I really liked Aralon. Though I was doleful to find out that it is only compatible with android 4.0+. I currently run MROM CM7 and find it to be the best most stable rom for atrix. I've tried others but I am most likely to default this rom. I just hope that they release a version of the game compatible with 2.x version... or I'll just have to switch back to JB just for the heck of playing that game.

Better not do that till a stable HWA capable kernel is put forward.
BTW, Try Soulcraft THD. I am still in the process of downloading aditional files due to crappy internet but by the trailer and screenshots it seems pretty much like an android version for Torchlight 2/Diablo-3 (top down 3D RPG/warcraft like).
P.S Heroes of Destiny isnt offline RPG and requires Internet connection for Experience/Upgrade/Dungeons. You are pretty much limited with nothing in offline mode.
Also,
Try Syphon Filter series for Playstation 1 with PSX emulator for android. Runs pretty fluid. (3rd Person Shooter RPG)
i like playing Illusia and Inotia 4 ! i think Inotia 4 its from Korean.

Ravensword: Shadowlands for Android System Requirements
NOTE: Additional assets downloaded after install require at least 600 MB of free space.
Recommended Device Specification: 1.2 GHz or higher CPU; Adreno 205, Tegra 2, Tegra 3, SGX 540 or higher
Required Android O/S: 4.0+
It should be compatible with the hardware, so when the kernel is really finished we "should" be able to play it!!!!

The dev sent me a newer apk and I tried it on TheBills LiquidSmooth ROM with the old kernel, and I managed to get around 15+ FPS even with the unsupported kernel, so there is hope yet! Please post your results as well because I'm intrigued now...

Wow!!
I'm havin troules downloading the sd data (crappy internet) now i'm trying to download from pc and move it to the phone, I guess that it is not illegal since the app was purchased from the play store.
EDIT:
So i've finished downloading the data....
And..... The game runs awesomply smooth!!! Sincerely, I was specting low framerate, or even a crash, but it was beautiful. only a slowdown (not low fps, the game went in slow motion) and the rest 10 points
Here is the youtube video that i recorded (sorry for the out of focus image, it was recorded with a very old kodak camera, that was the best it could do at close range)

Xperia U KitKat - Games Force Closing !

Hello, some weeks ago I instaled the kitkat ROM on my xperia u and almost everything is working fine expect that any game biger than 500 mg will force closing after some secs . I think is all about ram management . Im very thanksfull for what you did with kitkat but im wondering if this problem can be fixed ...
Go for Terra rom,
good for gaming,
better ram management,
Stock based.
Sent from my ST25a using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
You have to try JB or ICS rom for gaming and better stability... and if the roms are very slim they would be the best
