Hello, some weeks ago I instaled the kitkat ROM on my xperia u and almost everything is working fine expect that any game biger than 500 mg will force closing after some secs . I think is all about ram management . Im very thanksfull for what you did with kitkat but im wondering if this problem can be fixed ...
Go for Terra rom,
good for gaming,
better ram management,
Stock based.

You have to try JB or ICS rom for gaming and better stability... and if the roms are very slim they would be the best

Hi guys! i need to know what is the best rom with a great performance for gaming for the Xperia U? GB or ICS? and if ICS which compilation: C.1.0 or B.54? Thanks for responding!
Sorry for my bad english!
GB is best for gaming

spawk's custom rom is great for gaming, maybe because it has mujeni's kernel which overclocks processor. games noticeably lag less n are smoother.
maybe the only faster rom would be once which tweaks the gpu more since that directly affects gaming performance.
Thanks! Are you sure about GB is best??
I can't unlock my bootloader so i'm searching for roms with close bootloader

Use gbrocks v3
its best rom for gaming
gb needs less ram than ics or 4.0+ roms, so more ram stays for gaming and multitasking

So, Wi-Fi sleep bug preventing you from using AOSP JB 4.1 based ROMs? That was the case with me, I was sad that I was missing out on such a great platform due to one bug. After a lot of running around, here's a good, almost permanent workaround.
1. Flash your AOSP JB 4.1 ROM, GAPPS and all
2. Download "Advanced WiFi Lock" app from Play Store
3. Open it and activate it
4. Voila, WiFi no longer will disconnect when phone goes to sleep
Should solve the sleep problem on all ROMs
Warning-
1. This may/may not take up more battery, I found no significant difference. Its a small price to pay for solving this bug
Credits- @Sala1988 for suggesting it

THANK YOU

Isn't it possible to watch what the App is doing and then use this informations to really fix (without 3rd Party Apps) the sleep problem?
Sent with my SEXRay on SJB v7
The app actually creates a minor wake lock, so it doesn't actually fix the issue but merely prevents the circumstances that cause the bug to appear.

Oh okay. And how's the battery drain with it?

Well, battery life is the same for me.

Hi all, Good Morning/Afternoon/Night. I want to ask something.
Which version of Modern Combat 3 work on Xperia U ? I'm using SlimCM by elia22 . Using 1.0.1 force close, 1.1.1 force close, 1.1.2 too and 1.1.3 force close too.
For your attention, I can only say Thanks.
Non CM stock rom can run MC4 too, better with JDwalker's modded build prop. Even online with relatively low lag. I don't know what you should do if you want to stick with your ROM. All the best

Thanks for reply.
I mean MC3, it's force close. Even with Stock ICS or Stock JB by pipi14.
Clear data, retry with both wifi and mobile data on
Tell me if problem persists

AOKP ported rom has a pretty good battery life

Try using the FXP Team CM10
It has really good battery life in its current state
I suggest cm9 kitkat or cm10 FXP, because stocks roms are very slow also if they've got good battery life.
Ps: Sorry I've got more problems with this language, because I don't speak English :/

Try UNSTOPPABLE JB. Management of ram and battery is better than CM10 LE
