What do the instructions say ????
Cut and paste missed .
NOW V8
You need:
Samsung Galaxy S3
Custom Recovery
How to flash:
Download ROM and place it on your virtual SD card
Download "Super Wipe" script & place it on your SD card (optionally if coming from earlier version of my ROM, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM)
Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol up + home + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of "Super Wipe" script
Once again select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

Ok thanks !
I was a bit hesitating !
can you explain the part "virtual sd card" ? I can simply put the rom in the internal memory of my galaxy s3 right ?

No on the external sdcard, your internal sdard will be wiped if using superwipe script.

Redownload the rom, you may have a corrupt file.
Reroot the phone with CF-Root, wich will install CWM5. See item 1 in my signature for the how to.
Just do the following:
Place the ARHD rom on the external sdcard
Go in recovery and perform a wipe: data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache, format system, cache and data in mounts and storage
Skip the superwipe
Select the ARHD rom to flash
Once in the Aroma installer, choose wipe and backup efs folder, don`t select any tweaks for now and flash.
Choose fix permission and reboot, and you`re done mate

Thanks

Do the following:
1. Obtain root, see item 1 in my signature and flash the latest CF-Root
2. Make a CWM backup after the phone rebooted
3. Download ARHD 7.0.0 and place it on the external sd card, copy importants folders/files from the internal sdcard to the external sd card.
4. In CWM: do a data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache, in mounts and storage format system, cache and data.
5. Flash ARHD and choose full wipe and backup efs in Aroma, install the rom and tweaks you want and install.
6. Reboot and you`re done

might be some problem with ur sd card....does it happen the same for other roms.....?
no, never tried other rom. this is my first rom to install but cant..
I once flashed or installed the rom purenessv4 using this trick, when i cant boot the cwm recovery using xparts from google..

Install v5 app and cwm.
update xparts from play store
open xparts and install cwm
using root explorer navigate to SD card and look inside xparts folder for file called recovery. tar move this file to system/bin (make sure you have selected rw at top right corner) and set permissions like this
*** top row
* * middle row
* * bottom row
To enter recovery/cwm power down Phone then reboot while it is rebooting and you see Sony logo start pressing the back key.
This is what I needed to do and have got it working fine if this fails then just stick to v5
From the darkest reaches of my mind...... Somebody turn on the light
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437840&page=86
-------------------------------------
but after i succesfully installed the rom then it said need to reboot, i rebooted it and stuck at SONY logo, so i reflash offcial stock ics to be able to use again then root..
I tried again but never enter cmw recovery again using xparts,,
but when i use CWM v5
the problem is "cant open .zip"

Try opening on PC or inside your phone, no recovery.
If (opening) then
I don't know
else
zip is corrupted;
Edit: I saw this post so maybe is x-Parts recovery problem. Try using Extreme tweak installer.

Yes, it works very well. The SDHC is one of the main problems regarding this issue. I had very slow the titanium app and many other issues that I believed it was for other reasons. My mistake was that I made a format with my notebook (Microsoft) and this I not the correct way to format an SDHC.
SD Formatter 4.0 for SD/SDHC/SDXC
This software formats all SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards and SDXC memory cards. SD Formatter provides quick and easy access to the full capabilities of your SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
The SD Formatter was created specifically for memory cards using the SD/SDHC/SDXC standards. It is strongly recommended to use the SD Formatter instead of formatting utilities provided with operating systems that format various types of storage media. Using generic formatting utilities may result in less than optimal performance for your memory cards.
The SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards have a "Protected Area" on the card for the SD standard's security function. The SD Formatter does not format the "Protected Area". Please use appropriate application software or SD-compatible device that provides SD security function to format the "Protected Area" in the memory card.
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
The CWM recovery comes already with zip rom in most custom roms like CM 10. Most of the cases are not necessary to change the CWM.
Also, it is recommended, in case you format your sdhc, that start from scratch and not use Titanium back up for the new installation.

[Q] Flashing Omega rom gone wrong!

Hi there,
I've recently decided to do a bit of a clean up and upgrade my ROM from Omega v36 to v39. However from the Official site, I noticed it went from Omega I9300 XXELLA to Omega I9300 XXEMA1. I didn't think this would be a problem as they were both for the GS3 I9300 which is what mine is.
I followed these steps posted on a site:
1. Boot into recovery
2. Wipe the cache partition
3. Go to advanced and wipe dalvik and batt stats.
3.5 Do factory reset to wipe my data. <---This I did myself as I wanted a fresh install.
4. Go back to mounts and storage and format system, then data, then cache.
5. Go back and install the rom zip file from the sd card.
6. Reboot.
It seemed to install OK as it took me through the Omega setup but didn't really say install complete...just went to the main CMW menu which I then proceeded to reboot as mentioned in step 6.
It comes up with Samsung Galaxy GSIII like normal but after it turns black, comes up with it again with a red symbol near top left and then takes me back to CMW. I deleted the old version of Omega off my phone and now I'm confused with what to do.
Can I do anything with Odin? I can still access the download mode.
Someone, anyone, please help me.
Thank you for your time.

Hey i think you have a bad download of v39 (corrupted file) so the new rom didnt install properly, but the problem is you formatted your old system and rom, so now you need to download it again (now its omega v40 XXEMA2), make sure of the md5, put it on your external sdcard (make sure its FAT formatted). and then install it again.

What do you mean by "make sure of the md5"? Also, like I asked the other guy...does it matter if it is FAT32 and not FAT? Downloading Omega v40 XXEMA2 now
Do you know what MD5 means ??? if not google .
FAT 32 not FAT 16 .

I use the Chaos rom , so you need a full wipe with that rom , so you can do what was suggested by jjegan or you could use Megawipe , seach for it on xda , flash that , it will wipe away everything that is from the past rom (SO KEEP THE ROM IN YOUR EXTERNAL SD CARD) , but back up everything from your internal sd card , whatever you need , and then flash it , then flash the Final Chaos once again

Yes Chaos rom is a zip file ... keep it on your external sd card and flash from that (but the Dev for chaos says to flash from internal sd card. .. because you want to clear all waste from the internal sd card , you'll have to flash from the external sd card. . But if you experience problems after flashing , move the rom.zip to the internal as card and Wipe data/factory reset , wipe cache partition , format system under mounts and storage and then wipe dalvik cache under advanced options and then Flash the chaos rom from the internal sd card. . Good luck

No not needed as far as i know, i have never restored it. . Just remember it will wipe out the system , so you need to have a rom in the EXTERNAL sd card to flash. . Or your phone won't boot. . But it's always goodto backup your EFS ..

Need to put rom on internal memory!

So I don't have working rom installed and I don't know how to connect my phone to pc to put some new rom zip to internal memory? please help if someone knows :/ I have Xperia P
With an USB cable -__-
Send from my XZ with 4.4.2 to your eyes !
Flash kernel which has the ability to mount sd card in recovery. For example, TWRP recovery in AOSX has that ability. From there on you will be able to flash any rom zip.

I have some confusion regarding ROM installation. The usual step to install rom, for eg is
How to Install:
1. Download the ROM
2. Extract boot.img and flash it
3. Copy the ROM to your SD Card
4. Boot into recovery
5. Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and system
6. Install the ROM
7. Reboot

because it doesn't get deleted that way, it won't wipe internal memory (or in other words, our virtual SD card), you will ipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and system
