I flashed Xperia SSpeed kernel v6
When PC Companion detects my phone, it keeps saying a new software update is available for your phone (6.1.A.2.45)
Is there anything wrong with my phone?
No, it's always like this with rooted kernels.
Freeze update service via link2sd or titanium backup pro, it will stop bugging you.

A few months ago Ive been forced to uninstall sony ericson app from my comp and also the x10 driver from device manager(they started to give bsods)
I have now installed CM6 by WB but I want to install se rom again by using seus. Would I have any problems with that? Once I download and install SE software,will I have problems to reflash it? because as far as I know my pc doesnt have its drivers,or does it?

Hi, guys. One simple question since I couldn't find a straight answer. My Xperia mini currently has 4.0.A.2.368 firmware. Today that I connected it with pc companion, the program informed me of a 4.0.A.2.377 update. If I update through PC Companion, will all my apps, settings and stuff be lost like in a restore? Or is like FOTA update that everything is kept? Thanks

Hallo guys.
I have a problem with PC companion.
My girlfriend got a message today that the update for ICS for her sola is available.
After the installer points you to a website with the changes for ICS at the next point the program closes with no error or anything.
We tried it several times with admin rights etc. Every time we ran into the same problem.
Do you have any fixes or something for this?

i heard just pc companion and sony site says update though pc companion too.
Currently my phone is running Wolfbreak rom with Doomkernel and it's still fine but I am planning on flashing a new rom like Feralab or ThGo.
My problem now is that I don't have an available internet connection at home so Seus or Pc companion won't work.
Can I still fix it with flashtool or something if it ever hangs?

I've been using flashtool to update phone since Xperia Companion doesn't work with custom kernels and so I want to have it stock with stock kernel and everything but I always get the drivers error in flashtool even though I already started windows I installed drivers and keeps telling me I haven't installed them yet. Also I can't access my phone via usb, I dont know what happened it just dont appear as an external usb storage as before
