hi everyone,
i have a question about the romms betweehn FXP and the official ICS.
as i see official cm has barely 2 updates and the FXP has every week, the FXP rom is basen on the official but with the updates.
which rom would you prefer to install for every day use? which one has more advantages and is more stable?
Use fxp cm9 1 stable...

I'd go for FXP builds.
Cyanogen Team is way too busy coding and compiling their stuff for more poplar devices such as Nexus and Sammy phones. FreeXperia Team develops exclusively for Xperia handsets.
So, considering the above, it's up to you to decide which one to use.
and ited
FXP cm 9.1 is good for every day use.
i've used both, n didn't find any differences, both was very great rom

Hi guys,
Question is simple.
What is the difference between FXP's CM9 release and CM9 Offical Releases ?
FXP Rleases: http://code.google.com/p/freexperia/wiki/CyanogenMod9
CM9 Offical: http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=nozomi
CM9's release dates seems newer.
But what is the main reason that there are seperate ?
And why Xperia S is not in Devices page of CM ? ( http://www.cyanogenmod.com/devices )
It is not in the devices list but it is in Offical CM servers.. ( http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=nozomi )
Thank you so much for your answers !
Best Regards.

I think the official cm9 and the FXP's are the same, because all the older Xperias get the official cm roms from jerpelea and others from the FXP team.

Cm9 Doesn't seem to work gives out error while installing....
They're built from the same tree so they're both the same. FXP are the official cyanogenmod maintainers for the Xperia devices, the FXP builds are unofficial as they aren't built by the cyanogenmod server.

Finally got it installed but I did found the official one had free Xperia logo.....so I think the free Xperia team did help in building the official one....

Hi all is there MIUI android for CDMA Razr with JB kernel ?
I donĀ“t care if it is DD it can be just alpha release....
All you could do is to wait for some devs or the official team of miui devs to focus on what you want.
Anyway, you can also do this by yourself.
Hi,
Which is the best Jelly Bean ROM available now for Xperia X10?
I know there are few based on X10z and Slim Bean ROMs available. Which is best based on:
- performance
- daily use / stability
- functionality

Thanks
But I wanted some experts opinions
There are no jb roms are stable enough at the moment to use as a daily rom in my opinion! I understand scritchs jb rom is not too bad but does have fc's like other jb roms! And no jb rom has hw video working But there is none that cuts the mustard as there is simply not enough ram to run jelly bean on the x10 without it crawling to a Holt!
I had the x10 for 2 and a half years but due to the limitations I have moved on to the nexus s same age but better hardware and most importantly (more ram) with an official jb on stock, aosp, cm & miui and are cheap to buy second hand!
I'm not trying to put the x10 down I loved mine but due to the ram limitations it should stick to gb based or ics at a push!
Remember this is my opinion and i came to this conclusion after flashing every jb & ics based rom that was released!
I hope I can eat my words as the x10 is every bit sexy today as it was when released in 2010! and I know there are some special devs on here working hard to bring everyone a fully fledged and fast jb rom (champion swimmer) (scritch) and others who deserve all the respect and donations for coffee to keep them up all night to polish these roms!

The Feralab JB v1 rom is going pretty good. It runs CM10 and android 4.1.2. No crashes so far.

I am using X10 Z lite game edition ROM available in XDA with JB 4.1.2 version. It is very stable. Except camcorder everything else works fine and smooth. Good free system and RAM space and performance is also good. It is good for daily use.
maybe you can use feralab v2 JB here : feralab.ru/beans.html
Hello,
@venreddy: you also have the Xperia Z rom from Vasishta Reddy, that is very cool. I use it daily and I don't have reboot whereas I had some on my stock rom in 2.3.3.
I also tried the Xperia X10 Z FULL HD GAMEING capable edition rom from zahid5h and it also is smooth and stable.
Don't download his last version because there are some problems during the flashing. I tried it yesterday. I will wait for his new release.
Is there any good pure AOSP or pure CM 4.1.x (or 4.2.x) based rom?!?!

try latest kitkat cm9
Thanks for the answers, i've tried CM9 KITKAT by @Romiui and it's really good...but i prefer Jelly Bean to ICS
kit kat cm9
even ive tried the cm9 kit kat and it really is a good rom :good:
SlimCM in best rom for XU.
CM10 Limited Edition is fastest rom i've tried but sometimes keyboard disappear and apps reboot
Good excuse my language I use and translator.
I have some doubts, I read that cyanogenmod to complete the development of versions cm10.1 cm10.2 to devote only to version cm11.
My question is ... legacyxperia will put his last final version for devices and cm10.2 cm10.1 2011?
Officially ended means CyanogenMod team no longer focus on jellybean no adding of extra features and new idea's features will be added in latest cm11 , those who unofficially building cm builds can request CyanogenMod to add features I.e back porting features .. Unofficial versions can be built at anytime using CyanogenMod repo so we can expect 10.1 &10.2 updates from Mike..
