Stable, good battery life rom? - HTC EVO 3D

Right now I'm on mean romICS kernel 2.89 with hboot 1.5. I am having issues with charging so I would like to try a different rom.
Any suggestions for a good battery life, stable reliable rom? Frills are not necessary. Used to love Myns rom but it hasn't been updated in a while. Is there something similar in its place?
Thank you!

ZR3D-XL has good battery and is very stable.

this one right guys? I see they are still fixing stuff but that's fine as long as the core functionality is good. Appreciate it!

Okay, so once upon a time, I was a obsessed with flashing. Now I'm old and too busy to keep up with all the activity in the dev sub-forum.
I was hoping somebody would point me to a ROM I can stick with. My primary needs are speed and stability. I don't want a ROM with the latest bells and whistles if it keeps crashing or freaking out on me. I want something that is reliable, has good battery life, and gets the job done.
I would really appreciate help with this. Thank you!

Kinda hard to say depends on the kernel and rom combo. I'm on eternity right now testing it out no crashes for me everything seems to be smooth . Also if cyanogenmod starts putting out roms for the EVO 3d you would have a sweet rom and excellent battery life.
Use CM7 for normal use, excellent batery life and performance
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1393613
(don't have sense (oviusly), HDMI output, 3D camera..... BT stereo works, 2D camera works and everything else)
Use Infected rom eternity sense 3.0 r59 To have all funtions with good Batery life and very good performance etc (or try r74 if you don't want to use HDMI)
those are my recommendations
Eternity 1.4.2 with either RCMix or Anthrax kernel (or what it comes with, stock I think). Although I really like some of the nightly 1.5s Sense 3.0 roms from Virus. I'm on what's in my sig and it is really fast and stable. Decent battery life also.
For stability, everything works, ect.......nocturnals blackened or adrenaline.

I second this. I've been running blackened for toooo long now. Once I flashed it, I could never find anything better so I always return. Very stable and very smooth. Good battery and everything.

I've been using Revolutionary HD, haven't had it freeze or lockup ever.
Not much extra added to the ROM and it's quick and gets great battery.

What's the best ICS Rom available

What ICS mod is considered the current leader? I'm looking to flash my phone with one, but I'm not even sure what Rom to begin with.

Personally, I'm waiting for Jelly Bean to drop on our phones
/sarcasm
Mwakious has the biggest fanbase right now and can be considered as a good dev with a good rom, though I'm not quite happy with the battery drainage when the screen is on. Somebody else was complaining about the same issue, but again, every phone reacts differently, so maybe you won't even have that issue ukno..

Most of the roms have both cores enabled which will cause that battery issue.
IMO if you're going to go with an ICS ROM, Cool ICS is the best. No dual core nonsense, the right amount of tweaks, and just a good normal ROM.

Ugh not again.
First we need to know if you are GSM or CDMA.
And second, there is no "best" rom. All roms are created differently, for people with different wants and needs. And every rom will run differently on every phone. So just flash one, try it out for a day or two, and if you don't like it, try another.

Since your location says Boise, I'm guessing CDMA on Sprint. I personally like ZR3dX as my daily driver (see my signature). As others have said, I recommend that you try some out and find the one you like best.

Don't know if you were leaving it open to all, but I'll answer anyway. Rom is great, but in an effort to increase performance, the battery life isn't there for me. I think Mikey was in the process of balancing battery and performance when the lte came out. Since he is waiting until the ota to update, I'll try it again then.

I am using the mikey's meanrom v2.4 and it has been real stable. I also used the zr3 rom, but it did not have polaris office build into it, and I needed that since I get emails with documents attached. Didn't see any reason to purchase something that is in the mean rom. The zr3 rom is more customized, where meanrom appears to be more stock to me, but that is just my opinion.
I had no performance issues with either.
Have fun!

Best Battery Life?

I would just like to know what setup gives you guys the best battery life as in rom, kernel, brightness settings, and etc. Please report as i love my phone and hate the times when it runs down and im not around my charger.
Lol okay, im having a difficult time processing how this has 127 views yet 0 votes. Do any of you have a problem with me? lol
Umm, try Mikvirgin or the Z(I don't know the complete name of it(starts with a Z ICS rom. Mikvirgin is smoother than the ota btw. Me personally I may prefer Mikvirgin.
EDIT: NVM, i thought u were asking and didnt know it was a poll.
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
Because if you had done a search, you would know that there is no "best combo" for battery life. EVERY single phone will react differently to different roms/kernel combos. You can have two identical 3d's running the same setup, and they will not get the same battery life. Not to mention everyone has different wants/needs in a rom/kernel, and everyone uses their phones differently. Just try out a rom/kernel for a few days and see how it works for you.

Try looking at the development section. If you want sense I'd recommend viperrez. I if you don't then use neomax. Also the cm9 and aokp roms are awesome but they are beta not completely working yet

Depends on if you like sense or de-sensed roms.
For sense I like CONROM and the OTA ICS plus rom from micromod777.
For de-sensed I like both of Neo's roms (fast as hell) or CONROM with the desense option in aroma installer.

For some reason I experienced a lot of lagginess with neos roms although I liked them a lot so I switched back to ViperRez I know benchmarks mean nothing but I couldn't break 5000 with neomax (antutu) and on viperrez I get a constant 6800 :what:

Big fan of Neo's latest Adrenaline here, including battery life, it also appears smoother than 1.6 and below but it does appear to be more sluggish than Venom. Having said that however my battery life with the Venom rom was horrible and my phone heated up a lot..never have the latter issue with Neo's rom or Nils' Business Sense 3.6 v5.7 rom for that matter (highly recommend giving that a shot too)
I highly recommend using ElipticRez by hawknest

and i now bring you PAC 4.4.2 which so far has no major issues that i could find...there is a few things you can do to improve your battery life...but some cause slight decrease in perforance...partially why the rez isnt my main device anymore either...but it isnt stopping me from leaving its further developement anytime soon...ill stay with it till it simply cant work at all anymore
If you really like Sense, and don't care that is still ICS, consider EclipticRez ReVamped v9... it is rock solid and battery life is respectable to great for the Rezound. GSM ROM?
Not sure if I should start a new thread or add to this one.... I'd appreciate any recommendations on the best ROM to use would be on the Rezound with AT&T. I'm currently on Neo's Tachyon 1.2 and I like it a lot, but when I've tried it with a GSM SIM previously I couldn't get outgoing SMS to work.
Thanks!
non sense:

everything but camcorder works.
battery is pretty good especially considering how much tethering i do.

It doesn't work on the OTA or Global versions. It would only work on one of the the older ICS leaks. I've been trying to port it over for myself but it's tricky.

Ok, well then I may be out of luck. Rats! I hoped it would work because I am 4.0.3 but it is global. I am attaching a screen shot so if anyone reviewing this thread has a solution for me, I'd appreciate it. Also, I have tried many many custom ROMs but ultimately went back to a more stock solution. For me, it is just more smooth and reliable. I like the bells and whistles but I don't enjoy the lagging and freezing that I often experience with most custom ROMs. Flyhalf205 thanks for the feedback!
