Cheers for that will try it any chance of bricking

There is a chance of bricking your phone with anything you do
Risk vs reward.....
The chances of you bricking your phone are slim to none if you read everything that's available, and always do back ups, back up everything twice,
I didn't pull up that link but revolutionary worked great for me.

The RUU .exe files which contain the .zip renamed as PG86IMG.zip are mirrored on XDA also on goo-inside.me. http://www.goo-inside.me/shooteru/ .
Sticky post on the GSM EVO 3D Development board: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208485
Hopefully your RUU version is located in one of the links I provided. If not, you should be able to find on the forum thru searching! Good luck!

Hello!I have some little specs of dust underneath my EVO 3D screen.Up between the home and menu key.Does anyone have the same issue? If I have rooted my device and S-off... will they accept my warranty(HTC WARRANTY NOT SPRINT).I know that it states that my warranty is void if I root my phone but dust under screen it is clearly not software related. Will they replace my screen?

What hboot?
if you are on stock ICS, just install a custom recovery (im using 4EXT which works flawlessly) and flash this : http://downloads.androidsu.com/superuser/Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
Works on hboot 1.53.007
I'm coming from a HTC one v and I see that is a little more harder to flash a ROM on evo v 4g without out worrying about messing up the radio and the firmwire. Can you let me know ?

This forum might be a good resource for you since there is no Evo V 4G specific forum on XDA.
I have a guide here that will help you get root and S-OFF for the Evo V if you haven't done that already.
