Battery will not charge on cmx - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So basically ever since I flashed cm10 I've been having weird issues with my battery. it takes forever to charge like 2 hours to get to 20‰ and it will not go past that.to make it worse if the phone dies the notification light blinks and the phone will not turn on for like a half an hour I understand that its still not a stable release but other people are not having these issues and the rom itself is BOSS
My phone is on with the new pain in a the a$$ hboot and I used GUI flasher to flash the kernel before I flashed the ROM I am irc 9/5 build

No, S-ON wont matter. Just wait for another build.
I've had the same issues on some builds. Just gotta wait for another one

I wonder if this isn't some explicit form of kernel panic, maybe there some small relevant change in the kernel that is creating a conflict from with in the rom in regards to charging the battery or what if the rom has significant changes in it that are confusing the kernel and causing a malfunction in the charging process, what if its causing some weird from of bug that is directly related to polling the battery, maybe its overheating because the flux capacitor is out of juice!! In all my adventures flashing roms and kernels and what have you I have never seen any error specifcally stating kernel panic or kernel break and not likely to see one anytime soon due to the fact that the general idea is if it boots its fine. dear god i need to sober up....have you tried just flashing the kernel of a previous nightly incase there are changes that didnt take?

ROTFL yea maybe it is the flux capacitor.... I've had CM on every phone I've had that it was available for but this issue is just getting to me BC I haven't really seen anyone complain about it any if the recent builds. I never thought to flash a kernel from recent builds but wouldnt that give me some of the issues that where already remedied? And the recovery I'm running is the update twrp

The only time to wipe stats is a 100% clean start, other then that it does nothing to improve battery life

On an unrelated topic, I finally found out why data drops on the nightly, I tried it on 2 other lte's with cmx, switch mobile network to cmda/evdo, its so stupidly simple yet this issue has plagued me for at least 3 builds

Welcome to the club regardless Kushdeck has been do a good job building this ROM and has been moving pretty fast so I doubt well have to wait to long for a stable build

GB Sense Roms Charging Issue.

In the past two weeks I have used Gingeritis, Bamf 2.0 and Gingerbean using the latest updated imoseyon kernel. I am currently using the latest Gingeritis with imoseyon 3.0.1 and the MR2 radio that was just leaked.
There is one lingering issue that is uniform throughout all updates and changes of roms/kernels/radios. Charging time/speed.
After a new Rom install, charging is just how it should be. Then, after a phone call the charging time becomes extremely slow or even sometimes stops at a certain percentage. The only way to fix this is a reboot.
Anyone able to explain what in the GB OS and/or kernels is causing this?

yep.. charging time is definitely an issue.. I wonder if it has anything to do with the kernel.
I must have been lucky then, because after i flashed the MR2 radio, all that BS went away. Now I have super fast charging and it goes to 100%
It is a slight hassle, but there is a fix for it right now. When your phone is plugged in and charging, restart it while keeping the cord in. It should charge normally after it restarts. I've had the same issue and this makes things act normal. However, you need to do this every time you charge, not just once.
Why aren't developers asking for help on fixing this?
Why's everyone so mum about the issue?
This is starting to drive me nuts.
I know you reboot to fix it but , what specificly is causing it??
I mean when you think about it. Wouldn't killing the process whatever it may be, that kicks in when you get a call fix it?

Frequent SOD's on different roms!

I cant pinpoint at all whats going on. I get at least 5 screens of death each day. I full wipe and everything before I flash a rom on my phone. I'm currently on Turkbey v7. Someone please help me out

Did you mess with clocks/voltage at one point? There may be an init.d script or some other kernel settings leftover from those that you gotta get rid of. Flashing back to stock should fix that if I'm not mistaken.

well replacements are usually refurbished, if im not mistaken. Theres probably a higher chance that something is wrong with a refurbished phone over a brand new phone. So maybe not that unexpected that something will go wrong, especially with custom software

NEAK...
NEAK is working great here with UCLD4. I used to have tons of SoDs with LD3 on the stock kernel, just about every time I turned the phone off it would SoD within a couple minutes.
So because I felt too lazy to go to stock, I found the kernel cleaning script and wiped everything off my phone and flashed the script. Then I reflashed the Turkbey rom since I just like it and so far I haven't gotten any SODs as of yet.

Media volume appears to be jacked up on this ROM. When turning my volume down 3 notches, it almost goes silent. Did I miss a fix in the settings? Sorry to post this under the "Random Q&A" section but it appears that XDA micromanages harder than my boss. Thus, I can't communicate with the actual dev. I do like how it gets quiet quickly, however it kind of defeats the purpose if it goes silent before you get to the bottom of your media volume. I think whatever it is it's also influencing the peak volume. Don't get me wrong, I've said it before and I'll say it again: by far the most reliable ROM I've run to date on my Bolt. Thanks for all the time you're investing!

No problem. I wasn't trying to call you out, just confused. To answer your question, it looks like you may have to patch the ROM yourself to make it compatible. This recent version had fixed compatibility issues with a few ROMs, but since Jester's is new I doubt it includes his ROM (even though it's CM based, there are going to be differences). See the screenshot below or visit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357056

The baked in Battery Calibration app will do it for you, but it's recommended to barge to 100% before callibrating. You can also clear battery stats through recovery where you would clear your dalvik. There should be an option to clear battery stats.

WiFi not connected each morning:

Hello all.
I have searched this issue quite a bit, and I have some ideas, I just need a bit of direction.
So, I have a rooted Galaxy S2 running ICS version 4.0.3. I rooted it via Zedomax's youtube videos (I would link it, but youtube has closed his account FREE ZEDO!) Some mornings, when i wake up, I notice my WiFi is not connected and my phone is using 3G for its data. So, I go look in the WiFi list and it is on, but its not connected. I tap connect, nothing happens. It doesn't even try. I forget the network and re-enter the credentials, nothing. I reboot the phone, same thing. Finally, once i remove the battery a few times, it starts to work but not very well. I have a Netgear WNR2000V3 router. Just did a fresh upgrade/install of the latest firmware. All of my other wireless devices at home stay on and work fine. Now, i did notice that ever since i rooted when i first got my phone on version 2.3, i had WiFi issues. So my first thought is it could be my kernel? Like i said, this only happens at home. I also have the exact same router (WNR2000v3) for my staff WiFi at work and I have no trouble connecting each morning.
So, what are the steps i can take to fix this? Is this a known issues with the ATT SGS2? Am I missing something?
I would post a sreenshot of my phone info but since I'm a new user I won't be able to so here it is in text!

General opinions on 4.4 AOSP and SOD's

i see aosp development is soaring with this phone. I keep finding myself switching back and forth from LG roms to 4.4 aosp. My huge dealbreaker are SOD's.. With my work, i cant have a phone thats not 100 percent functional.

either when you wake it, it doesnt wake and reboots... or in the middle of a phone call, it will reboot..
its done it on OSE, unofficial CM, official CM, and a few other roms..
Not sure if its kernel related, but its been an issue for awhile with AOSP roms...
Try AOSPA (paranoid android). I think it runs on slightly modified stock kernel and I have never faced such issues!

Im using SlimKat since i got phone (around month now) and im yet to experience any reboots.
I've been using PA and have had zero SOD's. Now when I tried to use an aftermarket kernel then ran into some random issues. Use the kernel that comes with PA and zero issues.

an sod is when you try to wake your phone and it doesnt.. however the phone is awake and active. if you are turning on the screen but the phone isnt awake or active, for all purpose "dead", then its not an sod. and reboots are never sod. or in the middle of phone calls, thats not an sod. have you pulled a last_kmsg off your device to see why its rebooting? grab a last_kmsg after your next reboot(last_kmsg are only made when your device reboots on its own), post it here, and ill look at it. not saying that i will find the problem, but maybe i can.

this was from a month ago.. im gonna try one of the roms mentioned above... but you cant deny thats not a problem with 4.4 KK roms..... phone sleeps, you try to wake it, it doesnt wake, and then reboots

thats an incomplete last_kmsg
notice it starts at 23xx and ends abruptly at 26xx? theres no beginning here(0) and no ending(its truncated). no beginning i can deal with, but the ending is all important, since it stops when you reboot. that happens occasionally, especially if its been a long time since your last reboot. next time try again. see if you can get a reboot not to long after a fresh bootup.
i dont have a G2, i have a nexus 5 and nexus 4, so i cant say its a kitkat problem on the g2(btw, theres no official kitkat for the g2 yet? that itself could be the problem).

honestly, its been that way on 4.3 as well, not just kitkat. thats why ive stayed away from AOSP on this device because i cannot have a phone that randomly reboots when it wants to. to my understanding that has never been pancaked out since everyones working on 4.4 now.
i keep switching back to LG roms because of this, however i get bored and go back lol.
but i will try one of them roms listed above.. if it reboots, i will be sure to get the last kmsg

well. its my guess that since aosp doesnt come with the stuff that makes it work on the g2, the drivers, kernel, and such, that stuff from 4.3 needs to be hacked up and made to work. from that point issues could be common. since im not on the g2 forums much, pm me your next last_kmsg, hopefully i wont hear from you

Never had the sod as you describe.
If you're having it, set your voltages to stock, all flat I believe like an unrooted device
