first of all you have to go in contants ,secondly press the menu botton and select import/export and select export to sim card.To remove the account gmail ;
Let's start off by saying that the address book being connected directly to the email account main before proceeding must be exported in full on sd,
Here's how:
1) go to the Contacts tab
2) press the menu key
3) Plug on 'import/export'
4) plug on 'export on SD card'
At this point, the address book and save,Now at this point, if your device is already rooted and you have almost finished otherwise you root your terminal ..
Open root explorer and when super user will ask you to grant root privileges yes
Please go to the 'Data' folder and from there to 'System'
There you will find the next various files including 'accounts.db ' now you can choose to delete it directly or if make a backup copy, i recommend you delete it directly.
At this point delete the data in the market in this way:
1) click on menu
2)click on settings
3)plug on applications
4) plug on 'manage applications'
5) plug on market and erase all data (except updates)
Restart the terminal and enter the market that will ask you to add a mail as if it were the first time you access!
Now you'll notice that all the contacts in your address book if they are gone because they were connected to the old email account, don't worry ...
1) Go to the Contacts tab
2) press the menu key
3) Plug on 'import/ export'
4) plug on 'Import from SD card 5) Choose the backup file if you have the asking at this point you have finished ameno that do not please be fastidious, and save any applications you buy with the old account that in the case of reset would be lost forever ...

How to remove the exchange IT security policy. Account deleted already

I added my S3 to corporate exchange activesync, then decided to not to use it.
Now every time when press power button, the phone show screen lock and ask for a password, and I cannot disable it under
settings -> security-> screen lock as everything is greyed out there but the password.
I have tried to
1. Delete the exchange account
2. Remove the device administrators
3. Clear credentials
I haven't tried factory reset yet, and I hope I can avoid that route because I don't want to reinstall and set up everything else.
Thanks!

This is a little command utility I found couple weeks back to by-pass outlook exchange security policy.
What you need:
* rooted phone
* JDK ready PC (or MAC / Linux, never tried it)
Steps:
1. enable usb debug on the phone
2. plug your rooted phone to PC
3. **for windows PC** copy .cmd file and "lib" folder to /windows/system32/ or /windows/syswow64/ for 64-bits
4. double click the .cmd file and it will do the trick and then auto restart when complete.
Note:
* Not required to manually remove existing Outlook account. It should be gone after running the script
* I suppose if you already have configured exchange email, your internal storage or/and sdcard should be encrypted. You will need to unencrypt both to remove password protection, that is a Android requirement.
* Unencryption could be done before or after the exchange policy hack
* You might still be prompt to accept security policy, but it will actually apply anything.

Credit goes to the DEV developed this!!!!! NOT ME!!!!!
Thanks a lot! Too bad, I already factory reset my phone... but it is good to know.
This is the main reason installed Touchdown (By Nitro) on my first android phone.
That way I can use my Work Email and the admins there can only lock the Email app and cannot touch the rest of my phone.
Might want to give it a try if you need your work email.(They have a 30 day trial I believe)

what's app smartphone and tablet simultaneously

Hi this is the metod to have what's app working on our tablets and smartphone for those no know how to do that .
The solution, very simple:
!to make a backup of Titaniun app on the right.
2. With rootexplorer to find the files you backup: are in sdcard/TitaniumBackup with calls. 3 files Whatsapp-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx we have to select them and using the computer the Bluetooch or werever to semd tp our tablets.
3.Put this 3 files of the Titanium and putting it back on the right, at Samsung the folder Storage/sdcrad0 stays in
4. Let us open the Titanium and at the end of the list of appears the security copy of the Whatsapp, select restore app+data .
Both whatsapp does not work at once, if you send a message to the device in whatsapp opening there.
When you turning off your tablet automatically the new messages star to entre on your smartphone this is one situation for example .
If you send messages on tablet and your open the what'sapp on your smartphone now the messages go to smartphone , other example .

CyanogenMod 12.1 User settings

Recently i installed cm12.1 and it's good. There's a user setting in it,in which one can switch users. It's fantastic feature for keeping other people away from your personal stuff. But the only problems i found is- HOW TO INSTALL APPS IN OTHER USERS AND HOW TO PASSWORD PROTECT YOUR MAIN USER?
If anyone can help me on these since i cannot see any file manager or any password option for my main user,. I will be greatly thankful.

It's Too Easy,
1)Password to Main Account :
Go Directly to your main account and then find Setting>Secuirty>Lockscreen>Pin/Password/FaceUnlock etc
This will Put a Lock on ur main account and not to any other user(So now ur main account is Safe).
2)Installing App on other user :
Don't Do This as it will Take more space on your phone. But still if you want then
Enter into Guest user by pulling down the notification bar while you on the screenlock and select your other user or guest user.
Now, you are in guest mode. Try find File manager by cynaogen in App Center or Preinstalled App's.
Installing an app in other account needs APK FILE of the APP. So find a APK FILE of your Desire app or Playstore Apk From Google and put it into External SdCard then Install it. Done Cheer's !!
Put A Thumb Up If This Help you :fingers-crossed:

Thanks a ton...but the file manager was still absent from guest user. Had to manually install some file explorer (xplore) but the sd card (internal storage) shows nothing but like formatted phone. Guess guest user is made completely out of invading into my personal stuff...thanks anyways

Textra settings backup on rooted phones?

This question has been asked many times with no answer.
Textra does not have an option to save your settings.
Where are these settings saved?
Can they be copy-pasted on rooted phones, ?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.textra
It's been awhile
Really not sure I want to go through the hassle of starting all over again from scratch, again, with this app.
No need, after starting this thread in 2016, the only app I found on Google Play that can actually remember settings of individual contacts after you delete the conversation with them:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handcent.app.nextsms
Handcent Next SMS(Free Messenger for texting, MMS)
In other words, with other apps, they remember individual settings for a contact as long as there is at least one message on the phone with that contact, but if you delete that last message, only Handcent Next SMS remembers custom settings for it.
As for saving other settings, this is what I found. Use Helium on Rooted phones:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup
Start Helium and allow it root access.
Select app to backup > BACKUP > Internal Storage *DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING IF PROMPTED*
Backup Complete > OK
Backup is located in the internal storage folder named carbon.
Copy this folder to another device to perform RESTORE.
• Sometimes Helium may only be installed through a Helium Backup Chrome Extension for DESKTOP [not mobile] Chrome:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/helium-backup/gpglbgbpeobllokpmeagpoagjbfknanl?hl=en-US
In case of problems, install UniversalAdbDriverSetup.msi from https://adb.clockworkmod.com/
Enable USB Debugging: Settings > About phone > press on Build Number a total of 7 times to turn on Developer options
Developer options > Android debugging: ON > OK
Reboot both PC and phone.
Start Helium and grant it Root access > Checking Superuser enters a loop > During the loop,
Go to Google Chrome extension and start it > now connect phone to PC > Allow debugging when prompted on the phone. No need to change "Use USB to" - even if left on "Charge this device" the phone should ask to Allow debugging. No need to change "Use USB" to "Transfer files"
CANCEL > OK > either Backup or Restore
When done, Disable USB Debugging.

I HAVE TRIED ALL THE METHODS ABOVE WITH NO LUCK
#%%%%what i did to fix this was to import all contacts from sim to phone memory, close the whatsapp or minimise the open again for it to load the contacts automatically. this is how the "setting up whatsapp. please wait windows phone" was finally fixed $%$%$
I confirm the fix.
Do the usual steps, and when it's stuck on the screen, switch to the contact screen, add a new contact with a phone number, and then go back to the whatsapp app.
None of the origin fixes worked for me.
