Hello,, on previous stock firmware if you watched a video or looked at a picture it allowed you to play to a Samsung tv. First you had to click the tv icon then you were provided with a list of available devices to play to
Now if you press the tv icon it plays to the tv automatically, no option to choose
Is there any way to change this, it's really annoying because sometimes I press it accidently and it's annoying if I'm in a different room and somebody is watching tv
Icon I'm referring to

Turn your Wi-Fi off.
Failing that, don't press it!

Hey guys, I am currently running a gs2 with cm9 rom, and the cm9 kernel, however if I have my phone on any of the profiles I.e silent vibrate or loud etc, I constantly switches between the profiles automatically, roughly every ten seconds .
Things I have done:
Flashed a newer nightly
Crashed system UI and restarted it.
Done all the wipes when flashing roms.
Changed between themes and icon packs.
Any other options for me guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced guys

Try to set Profile to default (hold Power key) and then switch sound mode.
Thanks for quick response, just checked that and it is on default, I wish I could record a video of the screen to show you what's happening

Use screencast app
Will download now and then post, thanks

Strange thing.
Try to:
1. flash RC (http://download.cyanogenmod.com/get/jenkins/3457/cm-9.0.0-RC1-galaxys2.zip)
2. make Nandroid backup, format system, flash CM9 again
3. change kernel
4. make logcat (aLogcat form GPlay or through adb on PC)
I have no more ideas right now.
OK thanks mate will do that when I have a PC available, thanks for the help well give feedback later

Is there a setting to turn off the yellow box on all pictures that shows a detected face? It kind of gets in the way sometimes..

Try going to the picture from the gallery, press menu, select face tag and toggle it off. I think that should work

Wow. Incredibly simple and I didn't even see the toggle. Thanks.

If you happen to be using cm10 you will have to use another app like gosms and not the native.
No not rooted stock Also no picture is viewable.

Same as before...Hold the outside of the message/picture for 3 seconds and you will get the option to save..

Uninstall the game and try again, maybe was a problem with the wifi, if that doesnt work contact the game developer.
You can try wiping the data of that app.
no use

Ninjump solution
for people who are unable to run ninjump, try disabling the "enable 2D hardware acceleration" option in the developer options locating in settings
even i was getting black screen while launching the app, but on doing this, it finally worked and worked fine

How?
It comes like that out of box. Just say OK google from the home screen

Ah it's from the search widget. There is a way to hack svoice always listening so it launches Google now when screen is off
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah that's with the exposed module

Kinda creepy if you sit down and think about the 'always listening'

I can't get s-voice to recognize my start command. Screen on, off, nada. Does yours work?

I saw that out of the box, but when I switched launchers and put the search widget back on it seems you lose the hotword detection. Can anyone confirm? I'm guessing they built it into TW ala GEL
