It means you need 4.1.1 (JB). Viper rom is running ICS. You might be running Google now for ICS. So you need JB

Grab it from his thread here.
If you want to look at pictures before downloading, Android Police published an article with them that can be found here.
Not taking any credit away from everyone, I just want all of us to enjoy this update
Thank you so much. I hated not being able to buy movies. The google play store is starting to match itunes now in terms of content.

What do you mean? Are you saying that you got a market update via Google, or are you saying it reverted to 3.5.19?
Edit: also, in GB and froyo, if you had a themed market you liked, but Google updated, there was an apk in system/app called marketupdater that you'd have to delete to avoid stealth updates. I can find no such thing in ICS. No phoneskyupdater or anything. Anybody know what they've changed it to, or how they're doing it now?

Did you change your LCD density?
Negative captain. All stock except for basic tweaks from viper app

Works for me with stock with goodies and jelly bomb rom! What could have happened is you may have accidentally changed your build prop ( custom market, changing screen dpi or even running aosp at a different DPI) do other apps work fine?

Completely stock, out-of-the-box here and it works pretty good. Got it the day it dropped in the Play Store and haven't been prompted for an update since then.
I've only had issues with this game while running an AOSP ROM. I've tried it on two different Sense ROMs and it's worked great.
I have had it running on AOSP and sometimes it won't start completely, sometimes it'll freeze after a race, and usually the menus will look funky (like images didn't get loaded correctly).

[Q] Playstation Mobile

Our phone has been officially certified by Playstation to run their mobile app and play their games. I downloaded it and got an error code. It might be because I'm rooted and running CM10 so my question is has anyone gotten it to work?
This is where we're suppose to download it from >>> http://www.playstation.com/psm/store/en.html
I have the same issue

It gets an error because if you look on the website and click supported devices our phone is supported but must have Android 4.1 on it.

But CM10 is 4.1
Cm10 may be 4.1 but the build prop is not the same you will have to wait for the real thing.....bummer

Playstation Certification and new 3.15 firmware

I was curious if anyone knows if the new 3.15 firmware was playstation certified? I'm currently running meanbean and having no luck with playstation mobile. Anyone else having issues running psm on any jb rom?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
It works fine on O.M.J's Rom I'm not sure why it doesn't work on meanbean it should work as long as its based off of the 3.15 update
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Hhmm I'm getting fc error in the foreground and it looks like there is that certification error box behind it. It's blocked by the fc so I'm not sure. So for clarification 3.15 did include the ps certs?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Yes, it runs great on stock unrooted
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
Yeah its still certified on 3.15 also make sure you have the latest version of PlayStation moblie I think a new version was released after we got jelly bean

AOSP 4.2?

I'm gonna be getting my DNA in a few days, and I was just wondering if anyone is working on a AOSP 4.2 rom. My OG Incredible (somehow after 3 years) runs 4.2 and I really love Google Now, so I would like to stay that way if possible. Thanks!

Google now runs on this phone stock. As far as aosp, work has been started but cracking the RIL (radio interface layer) is going to take a while.

I thought Google Now was only available for JB, and that the DNA currently runs ICS. Or am I wrong?

You are correct about the first part. Google now only works on 4.1.x and 4.2.x(both called jelly bean). But the DNA runs 4.1.1, which is jelly bean and has Google now.
