Bootlooping - Motorola Photon 4G

I left my phone unattended for a few days when I cane back I couldn't turn on the phone as soon as I plug in the phone it starts the M logo screen and turns of right away and every few second repeats the same thing
Is there anything I can do ?

I don't know if we can do the same thing as Atrix here:
motofastboot.exe -v
In fastboot mode, to erase user data and try to boot again.

if that doesn't work i would recommend going into android recovery by pressing Power + VOL Down and doing a factory reset.

Can't activate fastboot it says battery is to low to flash and when I go into the recovery it shuts off

your battery is low which is no bueno... have your phone connected to the wall charger then try to go into recovery

Take a look at this thread, the "battery is too low to flash" thing:

Super Slow Reboot?

Reboot was super fast when I first got my 3VO--anyone else experiencing much slower reboots now?
I have fast boot checked under settings; also my reboots are typically unrooting the phone as well (would that slow down reboot a lot?)
I'm guessing it's just the massive # of apps I've added..?
After system has been altered, reboots are slow as it rewrites the whole system positron

Fastboot only works for powering off and on you restart or do a battery pull you get a normal boot

Fastboot is for when you reboot too, not for powering off/on, or batterypull.
Hence the million times it was stated to disable fastboot to get a GOOD/ full reboot, and the countless times I've been told by Sprint to pull the battery rather than powercycle/ reboot.
Mine is slow as heck, but I can't just reboot, I h have to shut down and restart every time as my restart doesn't f seem to work

Mine either......thought I was tripping.

if you cant do a reboot the fastboot option may be turned off.
I had the EVO and it was the same. After I load all my crab on the phones they take a while to reboot. I just deal with it and try to not let it die haha. But as said before after temp rooting it will take especially long.
--- resurrecting this thread rather than starting a new one ---
So has it been confirmed that fastboot only works on powering off, rather than on restart as well? Because with fastboot enabled, if I power the phone off, powering it back on is lightning fast. But If I try the "Restart" option, I actually get the warning:
Restarting your phone will clear temporary files out of memory. Would you like to restart your phone now?

I do have my phone rooted using Revolutionary, if that makes a difference.

The phone heats up though.

Try a different charger, cable and or battery (from somewhere).
If none of that works, looks like a warranty issue.
Hold the power button in for like 6 seconds, then try to power it on again.
Failing this, try to get a usb jig
Took it to the service center, its a motherboard issue...

Quick question

Does anyone else experience this:
On FXP Kernels when phone is plugged in on charge then if you reboot the phone when the screen goes off the phone coonects to flash mode the green light comes on and phone doesn't respond to power button unless its unplugged then switched on.

Yeah, that's normal
So even though nothing is going to get flashed to it, it connects to flash mode automatically and doesn't go to charge just stays in flash mode

[Q] Unable to Access Stock Recovery

Phone: XT910 Razr Maxx
State: Brand new
I'd soft bricked my phone and used Eternity Project's EU Final ICS Fastboot files to restore back to normal using a Factory Cable.
The problem is that when plugged in, the phones shows 100% charged and as soon as I unplug the phone, the battery meter becomes 0% and powers off! When I keep it charging overnight, it retains charge for a little while longer, but stills powers off randomly. When I place it on charge, it shows 100% again, but becomes 0% as soon as it is unplugged! I cannot access stock recovery as it shows the 'dead android robot' image! What can I do?
Tried all the following:
- Safestrap and Custom ROMs (same result)
- BMM and Custom ROMs (same result)
Any ideas?
When you see the dead Android simply push & hold vol + and vol - at the same time. From there it should take you to stock recovery

Hey thanks! That did the trick. I did a data/cache wipe and rebooted. Still facing the battery drain problem. Any idea what the battery problem is all about? When plugged in, it shows 100%, when unplugged, it just dies out on me!
If you still have bmm you can wipe battery stats - but i doubt that will do much for your problem. Fingers crossed your battery isn't stuffed

[Q][Solved] Clockworkmod recovery frozen on backup. How to unfreeze/power off?

Hello,
I was doing a nand backup on clockworkmod recovery when it froze partial way through the backup and it has been like this for the past half hour. I'm wondering if there is a way to power down the device or unfreeze it? The battery is fully charged so waiting for it to die is definitely not option.
You can try fastboot reboot-bootloader if fastboot recognizes your device

Thx termin8tor22, I just tried holding down the power button for about 10 seconds and it finally turned and powered back on with no problems. As of right now I feel very stupid for not trying this earlier. I didn't try it earlier mainly because i'm used to doing battery pulls.
Glad you got it solved!
For future DNA users just hold the power button down haha
