Stop default browser from dimming - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How do I stop my default browser from dimming when opened.
I use opera mini but I'm starting to use the default browser, only thing that really buggs me is that it's very dull and annoying when using it.

It's set on Power Saving Mode that's why it would dim. Menu > Color > Default (choose this one)

You need to turn on notifications, when your looking at the news feed press your menu haptic button , the button on the bottom left of your 4 button layout go into settings and turn on vibrate or select an alert tone and the notifications will work. I also recommend setting the refresh interval in the settings to never to save battery. Hope this helps.

You can use an app like Root Explorer to do it. Open the app and scroll down to the file that says 'sys', then scroll down to the 'class' file. Then choose 'Leds', then 'button backlight'. You'll see a list of files, including one that says 'brightness'. Long-press the file, then select the option to open in text editor. Change the value to '0' then hit the menu, save changes and exit. There's also an option in kernel tuner to turn the capacitive button lights off, as well.

Sounds like your preferences are corrupt.
Open your system settings app, go to the "Apps" section, choose "All" find the camera app and press the "Clear data" button.
