Sounds like your preferences are corrupt.
Open your system settings app, go to the "Apps" section, choose "All" find the camera app and press the "Clear data" button.

Question about the gallery.

In the gallery, when I tilt the phone, the thumbnails tilt with it making it very difficult to select the desired picture.
I managed to disable this in the app drawer when moving an app around but I can't find a way to disable it in the gallery.

Stop default browser from dimming

How do I stop my default browser from dimming when opened.
I use opera mini but I'm starting to use the default browser, only thing that really buggs me is that it's very dull and annoying when using it.

It's set on Power Saving Mode that's why it would dim. Menu > Color > Default (choose this one)

This is how
This requires a rooted phone.
1. Download any root enabled file manager. (e.g. root explorer)
2. Go to system-apps and then delete the default camera app.
3. Take the ucam.apk and place it in system-app.
4. Hold down the ucam.apk which should now be in system-app.
5. Choose permissions and tick:
owner- read write
group- read
others- read
(make sure that the others are not ticked)
6. Press OK
7. Install ucam.apk present in system-app by tapping on it and clicking install.
8. Reboot you phone and enjoy
Plz thank me if this helped.

Launcher crash

My xperia home launcher crashes when I scroll to the page with the sony select wodget. I cant remove the widget and the launcher crashes even when i view the sceeen in edit mode. Anybody have the same issue?

I have the same issue. I think it's something with Sony Select. When I open the app from launcher, every section shows up twice.
This started happening later today. Before it was normal. I believe they'll sort it out soon.

Is it still the same after a reboot? If yes, then go to Settings and then Apps. Go to All Apps and scroll down to Sony Select and tap "Clear Data" and "Cache". If that doesn't work, then find "Launcher" (or whatever its called) in the list of apps and tap "Clear data" and "Cache". (This will reset your launcher back to stock, so every shortcut and widget will be gone).
Clearing Data and cache resolved the issue. Wont be using the stupid sony select app anymore
