Cache is built up rebuilt at every boot.. So don't worry about.. Sometime an app stores data on your sdcard.. Which is not deleted when you uninstall an app.. You will have to manually delete that data.. Everything else is taken care of by the OS

would like to have another app that does almost the same as Titanium Backup. Does anyone know if there is one?
eg removing the system apps and cleans Dalvik cache etc.

I have this game in my N4 but i want reset the game...
I tried uninstall of course and clean SD files but when a reinstall, my savegame is there again
I think that is a file in "system" because when I wipe and update phone... I lost game progress so is inside phone, but where?
Thank all
Just press the Clear data button

Thx but how i said before... uninstall and clean data don't work
I used SD Maid too and clean broken files but city dont remove...
EDIT
I think that game add files in some folder inside system partition and don't delete when you uninstall...
if u are rooted, uninstall, clear cache, dalvik cache, delete this folder " com.ea.game.simpsons4_row" if present in data/data folder. search for game data saved in sd card manually and delete them. then reinstall
there may be a chance that your game progress is saved in a server.

I'm root so no problem, I'll try it
And progress isn't in server because I have this game in my N4 and my N10 and when I did wipes with new update, progress deleted without problem and I started again (titanium don't backup savegame :s)
EDIT
I haven't CWM... how I can do wipes?

Nothing...
I did wipes, delete all folders and files with word "simpsons" and savegame don't delete
And repeat, Isn't in server because with data wipe and new installation, game start again...

Application Manager will delete individual app data .

Theres an app called uninstaller that can uninstall apps (which wipes their data too). There are apps to clear app caches too... But I've never seen one that can wipe data and cache of all apps.
use recovery. why do you need an app?

hi,
can you put its link?
I dont say an appy that can wipe data and cache of all apps!!
If you clear /data you erase all the apps, including the one performing the erase task.
What you want is impossible or you didn't express yourself clearly.
You can clear app cache easily from settings menu.
For the rest you need to be rooted and a custom recovery.

Hi
I have a rooted xperia ray phone with the stock rom.
I have one ghost system application in the applications list(all applications tab).
They cannot be uninstalled from the applications menu the only available actions are force close and activate/deactivate.
I deleted the apks from system/app and data.app and all the entries from the dalvik cache.
The application still appears in the list.
Does anyone know how I can make it go away?
Thanks
reboot ur phone, there!

1.system/app = delete whatsapp.apk from folder....
2.data/app = delete whatsapp.apk from this folder....

Wipe caches to resove this issue for future
OR
Check for WhatsApp directories in your sdcards (int and ext both )
There should be only one directory and if you find more than one then delete one from them that is unnecessary
For example, if your whatsapp is installed in internal sd card then app directory should be in int sdcard only and if you find in ext sdcard also then remove it because thats unnecessary and vice versa (Remember- DONT DELETE THAT NECESSARY DIRECTORY FROM RIGHT PLACE)
And then wipe caches for whatsapp and if you are having custom recovery then wipe caches from there. and reboot.
OR
You just need to reinstall whatsapp.
Before re-installing, clear data and cache for whatsapp and uninstall
Then install install whatsapp again.
May be this will help you or you can wait for whatsapp suport as this can be a whatsapp issue.

Backup your Whatsapp conversations and media, move it to a PC, then uninstall Whatsapp and completely delete the entire whatsapp folder and then install the apk again.

okay. the photos are not corrupted. it's just that they are showing a totally different photo from what they are supposed to be.
as I scroll through my convo media history, some photos are totally replaced with a different one (yes, you can actually see the photos becoming replaced)
sorry to bump this up - but i'm gonna do a clean install on my phone soon
- any suggestions how I can fix this? :/
