HELP - Xperia S stuck in boot logo - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

My Xperia S is just a week old with locked bootloader.
I rooted it and backed it up thru CWM.
I applied a sound mod thru CWM which i did not like so tried to flash back my backup.
Before flashing i wiped everything possible, cache, data, system, dalvik cache, battey stats.
When i tried to flash my backup the recovery says there is ' MD5 Mismatch '
So now my Xperia S is stuck at boot logo, does not go into recovery, does not go into flash mode so i'm not able to flash thru flashtool or seus.
I tried holding Power and Vol Up button , but it only restarts the mobile and again stuck at boot logo.
Pls help i'm losing hopes.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried turning the phone off, hold vol up and connecting USB and see if you can get it into fastboot mode?

ok dont panic, hold POWER + VOLUME UP and when it vibrates release the buttons. Boot the phone. If its still stuck than hold POWER + VOLUME UP for 20 seconds and repair the phone with seus since its with locked bootloader. If that doesnt work, download firmware around this forum and flash the phone

I tried everything. The phone does not turn off at all. When i tried to flash with flashtool or seus it only connects in charging mode.
Anyway i've given it to the service centre, if they cannot get repair it they will be replacing it.
Thanks for replies everyone, anymore are welcome.

Anyways, Got my Xperia S back . The service center people just had to charge for a day and flash the back the stock rom . I still dont get it how did they get the device into flash mode.
Another thing i learnt is that from sept 16 all sony ericsson service centers will be shut down and the customers have to go to sony showrooms for repairs or replacements here in india.
Thanks Everyone , topic closed for me.

Bad Recovery
I'm thinking I completely ****ed up my phone, but someone please prove me wrong.
I flashed the ROM but it got stuck on the bootloading screen. So I rebooted into CWM and did a SYSTEM restore.
Problem is, I restored the system to when it did not have CWM flashed yet.
So now, it boots into the custom bootloading image and stays there. When I hold power+volume to reboot into CWM, it loads the original bootloading image (as expected) and gets stuck there because (I'm guessing?) I did not do a full restore.

If you have locked bootloader, repair it via SUS or PC Companion. If you an unlocked bootloader flash the rom (ftf) via flashtool.

Charge your phone. You have to press and hold the volume up and power button simultaneously until the phone vibrates 3 times and turns off completely. Then try to connect the phone in flashmode.

Phone stuck in boot loop.

My phone is stuck in some kind of a boot loop... i can get it into download mode but cant get it into cwm. I have tried flashing lots of stuff via odin but it doesn't make any difference. Is there any way I can fix this?
weird O.O do you mean bootanimation is looping cause you can actually get into CWM before the bootanimation
nope clockwork mod has disappeared D:
After installing new ROM did u again wiped cache or data?? If so reinstalling would be better,,
I reinstalled using odin
try to reset factory settings and clear cache after installing...

By flashing via Odin with a stock rom, you'll loose CWM. You have to flash CWM again to get it back. But as you described it, you can't even get into Recovery mode (blue Samsung recovery screen with HOME+Power button combo)?
^^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If u can't get to recovery mod then flash a new firmware from sammobile via Odin
I had this problem also.
I reloaded a new stock rom from sam and loaded it with odin, after the install I turned the phone on with the power button + the home button and did a factory reset and wipe catch.
And that worked.
u need to hold the power button + home button till you get in the menu.
I came from cm7.1 and went to stock rom 2.3.5.
Hope get it. Otherwise post your steps from which rom you came.
when phone is off, hold power button and home button in the same time.
when the phone is showing samsung, you can release the power button, but keep hold the home button until recovery menu showed
Xperia S totally briked, what to do?
Hello, I have looked a lot around here but didnt find the solution
I was touching "the "android.policy.odex" for a mod and phone rebooted into sony logo all time. With CWM recovery I tried to restore a backup but It failed
Phone still on sony logo, not boot, the only thing I can do is turn it off by pressing power + volume up a few seconds. It turns off but now, what to do?
I have locked bootloader.
If I try to turn on, it remains in sony logo... recovery doesnt work too
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
First of all you must hold power+volume up keys till you recieve 3 times vibrate ( after first vibrate you continue holding till it happens )
In this time your phone goes off , and then flash a new official ROM by useing a flashtool if you rooted your phone otherwise use SUS or sony pc campanion to repaire your phone.
Attention: After powering off don't power on again because put you back the first situation
I think this recovery.img was not walid... I did that with my phone too, and nothing appear in screen. U have to flash another kernel (i suggest, the doomlords kernel). After that turn on the phone, and press the volume up, when doomlord logo appears.
hope it helps.
How are you getting on is your phone back on?
If you tried the methods above with no joy it obviously isn't installed. With the cwm you are trying is there a .bat file in the download on your computer. If so while your phone is plugged into PC run the bat file and follow onscreen instructions. Then try launching cwm again.If you havnt managed it yet leave a message and I'll find it.
I am posting here as I am facing the same problem.
I have been following this guide to flash my phone with CM10 from ICS stock rom.
h#ttp#://androidlegend.com/xperia-s-update-to-android-4-1-jelly-bean-with-cyanogenmod-10/
I have successfully followed everything done previously, including Unlocking the bootloader, getting root access, installing busybox, using RecoverX to install CWM.
I copied the FXP150-cm-10.1-20121209-UNOFFICIAL-mint.zip to sdcard, is it this that is required to flash to ROM or the boot.img that is inside the zip?
And I am stuck on that part where I have to reboot into recovery mode. I have tried
a) Connecting my phone and opening fastboot mode and then try to keep the vol up pressed to open recovery mode.
b) Without connecting, powering my phone on and pressing volume up. But there is no blue LED
c) Without connecting, powering my phone on and continuously tapping on sony logo. After that Xperia logo.
But I can not enter the recovery mode.
A little guidance please?
Flashing CM needed a seperate kernel. Keep following the instructions to use fastboot to flash the boot.img
Power the phone off. Hold vol + then plug the USB cable in. There should be a blue light.
Poorly written tutorial IMO. Should be flashing kernel first then the rom to save some panic.
I asked the Sony-Support, they say that there is no recovery-mode.(for Xperia U, but they are the "same")
Guys, dont ask Sony cause stock ROM doesnt have recovery.
If you want to flash CM you must fastboot the boot.img inside the zip file, before that put the ROM into your phone memory, power on the phone and keep pressing vol up, enter into CM recovery and flash rom from phone memory. Wipe before and after.
Agree, stock ROM doesn't have Recovery Mode. When you turn your phone with VOL_UP, nothing happens :cyclops:
try flashing it again, maybe your first flash had an error.
Met the same problem and here what I did:
-Take off the battery in 10 minutes and put it back
-Plug the charger into the phone and do the logging in CWM steps (press and hold the volumme up, press the power button).
Finally it worked, hope this can help
boot loop - is this normal?
Hi, i just unlocked the bootloader on my Sony Xperia S, installed ClockworkMod recovery and now I am getting a boot loop. I cant turn off the phone, it only gives me an option to reboot CWM.
(I am currently downloading CM9 to flash it). It says on the tutorial to transfer the zip files to the SD card of my phone, But how can I do that, I cant access the internal storage of my phone using a USB cord. The PC cannot detect the phone.)
I need your help badly! I dont want to brick my phone! Thanks!
Download advanced stock kernel from the development forum and fastboot it from your pc and see what happens
[Q] [Help] Xperia Go ST27a won't boot!
Hey! I just rooted my Xperia Go (advance) and it went perfectly. Afterwards, went on to install CWM Recovery and once I rebooted the phone (I managed to get into the CWMR menu) my phone shut down.
My PC won't recognize the device even while holding the volume down key while connecting it, it wont boot up, won't charge with the wall charger or anything.
I really need help, I've tried everything.
Thanks!
Try n hold power n volume up button together until it vibrates 3times...
Then try flashing stock ftf via flash tool.
Try flashing this kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250695
But I think you have to unlock bootloader first.
What I did was updating stock firmware via OTA, then unlock bootloader, flash the kernel above and then flashing the JB zip file via CWM
reflash with flashtools
