[Q] Keyboard - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
For past 7 days I've been trying to find Sense 4 keyboard, that would work on my S3. I've tried few keyboards (smart keyboard, JB pro keyboard,..) but I just miss the feel of sense 4 keyboard.
So does maybe someone have that keyboard that fits on our screen?

[Q] keyboard

Hello people
I need a different keyboard.
Because the one I have that came wit the Optimus X rom is too fiddly to use.
Dose anyone have any recommendations on Android Keyboards that I could use?
Smart Keyboard Pro
/end
Im using Better Keyboard, its very very accurate.
In other times, i was using Smart Keyboard but its accuracy is awful
Swype beta is best ever
1) Sign up and download Swype from http://swypeinc.com/
2) Get Smart Keyboard Pro... Pay, pirate, whatever... Just get it! lol

Stock keyboard (voice input) and working alternative keyboards

Can somebody tell me if it is possible somehow to turn voice input from stock keyboard? I looked in settings but couldn't find it. Also, do you use other keyboards? I got used to use HTC IME by jonasl, but now on 1280x720 it is obviously to small for the screen. I am testing Smart Keyboard now which is pretty fimiliar to HTC IME and has the option of voice input. I don't like Swipe as I never swipe, got used to "click" symbols. I would continue using stock keyboard if not the lack of voice input.
Sent from my Tapatalk using freaking awesome LT26i Sony Xperia S.
I use smart keyboard Pro. Been using it since the X10 days, love it.
Im using "Ice cream sandwich keyboard free"
works well, and gives you the voice input button there too
I'm typing quite a bit quicker on this keyboard as well, seems to be working for me.
give it a go
I've always used thumb keyboard on any android device I use. Has good customization options and keyboard themes.
I use ICS keyboard full ..
It have a good arabic letters layout, and I use gestures to change language, close keyboard , and delete last word ..
I works great in this big screen and just take a little space of the screen ..
even I already purchased Swiftkey X, but I feel more comfortable with ICS keyboard ..

Multi Windows from 4.1.2 to 4.3 ROMS

Hi guys,
I was wondering if there is a mod to use the multi windows from original note 2 rom to new 4.3 roms. The reason is the keyboard. In old roms when you had two apps running and wanted to write something in one of the windows, the keyboard appeared as a floating mini window. In note 3 the keyboard is the standard half-screen application and when it is needed it nearly fully covers one of the two window apps. This ruins IMHO the functionality of the multi window capability. What do you think?

There's an option in the new 4.3 sammy keyboard where you can change your keyboard layout to either floating, normal or one handed by pressing and holding the key besides symbols key.

No there are too many dependencies in the HTC keyboard. Whats wrong with the Samsung keyboard? I think its the best keyboard I have seen.

nope its bad i like th look of the HTC keyboard and it works nicely.
for me the Samsung keyboards keys are too small UI for it is horrible most people i know with Samsung devices remove that keyboard as soon as they get it they usually go swype or swift key.
i would pay 2.99 to 4.99 for the blackberry 10 keyboard which is bastes on swift key prediction with blackberry's own code / prediction engine on it and the way we can flick up words on that keyboard means the bar with auto correction predictions is no longer taking up real-estate they should sell that keyboard its amazing on the Z10.
ah well stick with what i got thanks for the heads up on the HTC dependencies
Check keyboard thread in theming and apps and you might find something you like
