This thread just makes me laugh!
Alright.. doing
Code:
adb remount
adb push whatever.apk /system/app/
adb reboot
Does install the apk. However it will not work due to the libraries and other files in ICS. So I would just wait for ICS. On the bright side face unlock is more of a gimmick, it's not very good at securing your phone.
love to see someone back engineer this or something to get it working on Gingerbread
used it on cm9, but would rather use GB as a daily driver still
try this this may work android (4.0 +)

Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
this works, thanks, most noticeably louder on bootsound of arctic.. now this made my phone too loud, but louder the better
When y trie to download chrome say "This file appears to be malicious."
Why ?
Very noticeable difference using Etymotic HF5's with the razr. Flashed the zip using cwm. Huge thanks!
Will this make a difference in the loudness of the internal speaker? I don't have a respectable set of wired headphones to try it on.. only a moto s9-hd bluetooth set, which I know this will not help.
Read a news article stating that beats only works with HTC music player right now. In the future that will change.

I did not port this over I just am giving you a way to install on your Razr HD.
Download the zip from here ---- >http://d-h.st/lVe
Then follow the directions from here ---> http://pastebin.com/gcHJrFQc
Remember to edit your build.prop ---> editing your build prop can lead to future problems.
Have you tested it? Is there a bigger difference?

if ur scared of adb, use es file explorer. Make the root directory writable in settings. The adb commands in the instructions are just pasting the files from the zip into the system/lib and system/app folders. Then u can use Rom Toolbox Lite to edit the build.prop
Thanks
Wow, thanks for this! I can confirm that it works with the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean leak. This was my first experience using adb too, so the instructions were nice and easy for my newbness.
Is there any way to hide the old gallery and camera?
Can this be done with the keyboard and alarm clock from the Nexus 4 too?
Google play says that my phone is a "Motorola Galaxy Nexus" now xD
would installing this via root explorer have any correlation to why my 4g hasn't worked since I installed? the camera and gallery seem to work fine, and i copied over the apk, lib files, and edited build prop all according to directions.
otherwise, 4g is out in my area.

I seen a flashable .zip file for the SGS III that has the Noteboox app.. but im afraid to use it, because the update script, binary is for the SGS (not sure if that makes a difference). The apps would need to be modified. The apps call for resources in the stock framework n systemui. You'll have to transfer those resources to the apps them self n change any internal link to the new location of the resources. It's been done but it's allot of work.

Thank you for explaining this. I used the method I described to pull DSP Manager from one ROM and put it in another one. But this is obviously more complicated.

The differences are the AndroidManifest.XML files and the working apk has a file called libpolatispdfexplorer.so (Notebook.apk/lib/armeabi/libpolarispdfexplorer.so) I think that might be something necessary for it to work.
