Is it possible to delete both recovery and root and revert back in stock state in order to avail warranty.

Either answer the question or ignore the thread. You didn't help anybody by posting that non sense. We all know the rules here. I did search forums but was unsure whether I'd have to unlock bootloader or not.

yeah.. just update your phone using PC Companion or SEUS or flash a firmware file using flashtool and it will be as good as a new phone out of the box

No need to unlock the bootloader for rooting.
Look in the pinned rooting guide by me, there's a link to a tutorial how to root 4.1.B.0.587

[request] stock 6.1.1.B.1.75

As I've not got access to a pc for a while to relock bootloader an update my Xperia p
I was hoping someone could post the stock Sony 6.1.1.B.75 as a backup for me so I can restore it through CWM
Its the fw I'm already on but for some reason I've got the notification of an update to that fw and can't get rid of it, its really annoying "/
I'm on vengeance kernel 1.25 so preferably could it have that kernel too but if not it doesn't matter

By posting to close a thread it won't be closed....
In case any mod is reading the thread or someone else reports it......
So just report the thread for close and it will be closed...... Just an advice.....

I know the topic is resolved but I just thought Id tell you an easy solution to your problem In CWM, there's a Tools option, and inside, there's an option to create Stock zip Basically, its a CWM version of the rom you have now, minus the baseband and loader

I know how to do all that its just I reflashed .75 through flashtool instead of locking bootloader using pcc then unlocking again
But because of this I'm on .75 with a notification in the drop down bar to update to .75 which is really annoying so I needed someone with .75 through pcc to backup their system using cwm and send it me "/ but get access to a pc sometime today so no need may aswell do it myself

I first made a backup of my DRM keys, so i can go back to a locked bootloader if I want. But that's only possible if you're already rooted. You can try Bin4ry's method, but if that doesn't work you should skip this step. Then you can backup your TA partition.
Then you can unlock you're bootloader. Sony's own instructions (search for "Sony unlock bootloader") are very good.
Tnx mate

See that? LT22i is XP!
Nevermind, hadn't seen your link before :silly:
Anyway, bootloader unlock tool won't be device specific I think so if that tool supports unlocking bootloader it'll be for all 2012 Xperia atleast, and anyways, all Xperias supporting unlock have the same bootloader unlock method

You do not need and unlocked bootloader to root. Easiest root in your situation would be the app LGPwn.apk which you can find in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2338816

Not all custom ROMs will work with locked bootloaders. Some custom ROMs work only with unlocked bootloaders. Best to check the 1st post of the custom ROM thread to see what are the requirements before you flash.
