So I tired another Rom and I didn't like it so I went and tired another Rom and for some reason its not showing all of my apk's backed up. It show maybe like 25% of them. I checked the folder and everything is there but it won't show it the restore section. How do I fix this. Thanks ahead.

When you installed titanium, did you go into preferences and choose the correct backup folder? I always have to choose the one on my external sd card because by default titanium uses a folder on my internal card. Just a thought.

Theres also a 'verify backups' in batch mode, at the very top.

So I have the folder in the correct location. I tired a new Rom and redid my back ups on that Rom. Then I didn't like that Rom so I changed it and when I went to go try to restore my apps it's not showing up in the restore section. The apk's are there. As you can see at the very top in the verify sections in the photos I posted. Did anyone have this problem? I'm not sure how to fix this.

Have you tried the 'problems' button within the app? There is a lot of stuff in there that might help.

Well, I wouldn't definitely write to the dev then. I think this same thing happened to me a couple years ago, if I remember right I basically had to start over. Have you tried installing the apps from the market and then restoring its data? Or maybe restoring one at a time?
"We're coming from a pure power source"
I've had that happen to me, I think I fixed it by messing with filter settings.

Probably you missed checking the "Normal apps (apk)" option
In order for the backup to properly be restored after OS upgrade/update, you would need to have the apk files. The apk files are backed up by Titanium Backup as apk.gz files ONLY if the Menu -> Preferences -> Normal apps (apk) is checked before you back up the apps. Otherwise, it would only backup the app properties and data and not the apk files.
So this is how it works:
Scenario 1: Menu -> Preferences -> Normal apps (apk) is checked
With Titanium Backup, you can restore the APP + DATA.
Scenario 2: Menu -> Preferences -> Normal apps (apk) is unchecked
With Titanium Backup, you can restore only the DATA, but you can do so only after you install the app either from playstore or manually (in case if you have the .apk file).
Hope this helps.

I wanted to know if anyone knows of a good app that installs multiple apps at once just like in the Team Venom rom? I found a couple but none have the option as i have to install one by one instead of the app doing it for me.
how many apps do you need at any 1 time?
try app expert..
You mean like 'batch restore' in titanium backup pro?
"We're coming from a pure power source"
This one is pretty straight forward, supports drag and drop.

Yes it's like batch restore. I have a lot of apps. In the Team Venom Rom you can click, lets say 6 apps, and then install with one click and not one by one by one.
With TB pro you can backup all of your apps and do a batch restore with or without data any time you have to factory reset for a new ROM its one of the best root apps ever.

I have TB. What I need is for something similar. It is for installing multiple NEW apps. Not restore old ones. I don't know if TB has the option for it as I haven't fully explored it yet.
In my opinion its not a good idea to install a bulk amount of NEW apps. If even one of them makes your phone not work properly you won't know which one it is. I think one app at a time is a safer way to go.

I am also curious about a program like this. I like Titanium Backup but when you have to reinstall 20 + apps it is still an arduous task because you have to tap install each time the next program is ready to install. It would be great to have an app that you select which of your backups you want to install, click ok, then walk away and in 5 minutes they are all installed. Is there such a thing?
Titanium backup pro does that. I restore about 130 apps in 10 minutes, automatically.

You need the pro version of tb to get batch restore. Its well worth the $5 or $6 whatever it is these days. By far the best paid app I have ever used.

No worries, I agree it's one of the best apps I've ever bought.

If you have ROM Toolbox Pro in App Manager you can backup all downloaded apps. Then if you clean flash a ROM, just sign in, add back ROM Toolbox Pro and batch restore all missing apps. Its great because you can also backup only newer versions of the apps you have etc..I swear this app is in my top 5. I use the, terminal emulator, build.prop tweaks if necessary, Font Changer and more
Edit...can't go wrong with Titanium Pro either.

I recently picked up one of those Polaroid 7 inch tablets at Kohls. (Polaroid ptab7xc)
All the reviews of this thing are great, but I can't do anything with it! I install the Amazon app store, and it works fine for a bit, but the next time I launch it, I get a black screen with "search" at the top, but the store itself never launches, and the search never responds. It only works once I uninstall then reinstall the app, and again, only for a bit.
I've also tried to install the Android/google store, I follow all the instructions on the page, and everything works fine, but before I get finished, the market stops working. Every time I try to launch the app, I get the same message, the Market has stopped working.
I copy the folder to the device and not an SD card, is that my problem?
No, i don't think that's your problem.

I took it back and got a new tablet, and it did the same darn thing. I install the files in the order it says to install them, I get to the sign in point, enter my info and password, and it stops.
Before using custom roms and rooting things, i recomMend you to reinstall the original firmware : http://southerntelecom.com/polaroidsupport/firmware_guide_ptab7XC.html

The firmware quoted won't work-it's made for a different model.
If you have already successfully flashed the tablet to the stock firmware, you can head over here where elektrik () has created a modified stock which has store, root &debloat.

If by 'hard reset' you mean back to factory default, you select that in the Personal section of the ICS system settings (called 'Backup & Reset')
So either after unlocking my bootloader or rooting my new HTC One, the HTC Torch app was removed.
Any reason why it would disappear?
Anyone have the apk so I can load manually?

You do lose these as unlocking the bootloader wipes the data partition adn they are in a particular location. I used the carbon app restore from this thread and got them all back

I could probably also pull the apks if I have time later.

So here is the list of apps that get lost:

Calculator
Soundhound
Tunein Radio

We should update this thread as we find more apps that went missing, but I think this is all of them, anyone have all of the apps listed above?

Here is the calculator App, sorry I missed that one. The others, soundhound and tune in I do not have as they do not seem to be the one that the OTA updates will check for. though I could be wrong.
Deleted a couple apps prior to backing up. Anyone have Polaris, Group play or caller ID name? The ME7 ver are preferred but the MKE will probably do. Just concerned lack of these apps may not allow future updates (KLP??).
Thanks
Hopefully Im not threadjacking...
Im also looking for the stock Verizon Voicemail app?
Any help would be appreciated.
Or, can someone tell me how to fish out the APK from a Titanium backup of that app? I backed up all my apps before I installed a ROM and the verizon voicemail app wont install/restore from the Titanium app.
Help?

Hi,
I have a Vivax Point x45 mobile phone and it somehow got infected with a very aggresive virus which I can't get rid of.
The phone is unusable since the phone keeps opening ads, spam and is constantly trying to install new apps.
What I noticed so far is that the two main viruses are Time Service and Firewall Service.
Once I connect to the internet those viruses install porn apps like 'hot video' and 'hot girls' and such and they keep opening it.
I have tried factory reset through mobile phone and through recovery mode (VOL- and Power button) but the viruses are there even after recovery mode.
I've read about Titanium backup and such methods of removing the virus, but I literally can't do anything on the phone since it won't let me open any app longer than 2 seconds. I can't root it, I can't install any other app myself and I can't access internet with it. I would reflash the firmware but I can't find it anywhere on the internet since it's a ****ty vivax model.
Help please.
Thanks.
Factory reset. Don't connect to WiFi. Download antivirus apk on your PC and drag it to your phone. Install the app. Check and clean the virus. Good luck. Must be an oldboot virus that installs itself every time you connect to WiFi. A custom ROM would also fix the issue. But like you said. Its a unknown brand.

The virus works even when not connected to the internet. So I do factory reset and turn on the phone, it's there.
I can't operate on it since it keeps spamming ads and opening apps. It's unusable in this state.

Its a system level virus. A factory reset won't help. It needs to have its system reinstalled. Problem is, the phone itself is an unknown make and brand and has no support on XDA. Its important to buy a phone which does so that when issue like this occurs. There a high probable chance that your phone can get fixed. I'm wondering if your phone has a safe mode?

Safe mode is infected too.
I just managed to root somehow through PC and installed busybox and root explorer and removed several files starting with a "." from system/xbin and system/app so there were no files starting with "." left.
There was another one in /bin folder named ".gap" but even after chattr -iaA it couldn't be removed.
Then I factory reset the phone but the **** installed itself all over again.
App names:
Time Service
Firewall Service
hot video
netflash (smtnh like that)
file names were
.gap
.gap.a
.gatgp.a (smthn like that)
The app is also constantly trying to instal com.android.provision and fake Viber and Whatsapp apps.
