[Q] Flash counter reset - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I' ve serched a lot but i don' t find anything useful for me. I only want to know if there is a way to reset the flash counter on galaxy tab 10.1 GTP7500 (wify + 3g model). I used triangle away for my galaxy s2 but as i see it' s not compatible with the galaxy tab.
Anyone knows something? I use cm9 nightly with cm9 stock kernel.

nobody have idea?

I think it´s not possible yet.
If your counter is still zero you should think about flashing your roms with CWM.

Click to collapse
I would like to know that too. Will probably never use 3g neither since teethering is available.
Just go ahead, it works nice. Just as you say, you loose 3G and thats it.
how to backup original firmware and data?
7500 to 7510
I would actually like to flash the other way....from 7500 to 7510. The Market issues drive me crazy since I do not live in the USA. It seems that if you have a radio enabled device then other people have had great luck just using the MarketEnabler app to gain market access.
Has anyone tried this on a 7510? Does it work?
I did, by mistake and it works just fine.
But you are losing mobile Data which might suck from time to time.
I'm loving what I hear here..
As it is as of right now, I see no chance that I'm ever going to use my Tab with a sim-card in it. And as it seems most custom roms are WiFi-only, this would mean no problem installing one of those..
And from what I understand, I could always just flash back my original rom (I'm guessing a Nandroid-backup can be done from CWM ? ) ..
what's the status
For those who have installed p7510 roms to p7500, please let me know the outcome. i've asked around, some say it will brick the tab, but here it says otherwise.. so now im confuse......
i have installed many 7500 roms on my 7510 and nothing is bricked , I can now play gameloft games, that I can't with 7510 roms.
7500 and 7510 is the same and you can install all roms. On the 7500 and on the 7510 (Only the devicenumber will change)
Have anyone tried to flash p7500 ROM on p7510, then mod to enable phone call function? I wonder if this works on p7510 over wifi?
I have Korean Galaxy tab 10.1 3g model. It has DMB Antennae which I don't use, so I flashed P7500 rom on it. I also don't use 3G function, so I flashed 7510 rom again and it works without any problems.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app

[Q] Is there a Flash Counter Fix Yet for I747

S3 T model Question

If I get a Galaxy S3 T-model (i900t), will I be able to root it and install the cyanogenmod custom ROM fine?
I want to also know if Optus would on the T-model (unlocked), and if there are any issues associated with doing this.
All I am basically asking is whether or not Optus would work fine with a rooted, custom ROM Galaxy S3?
Sorry if I missed anything, but I'm new to android and these forums

[Q] Un-rooting, flash etc- help?

So...im a NOOB, yeaaah.... Just one day ago I rooted my android (without much knowledge<---- idiot...) So now I have the problem, that i want to change my ROM to paranoid android or cm10. but.... i also want to hard reset my device. just did it but the kernel from siyah is still there(obviously). now my question is, what to do in case i want to hard reset my phone, and go back to all to stock (unroot, kernel to stock). and then from scratch change the ROM to paranoid android or cm10 with root permission?I know this sounds, like im a retard or a lazy one, but its just the fact: all the information about rooting, flashing are way too much and i cant find a post similar to my questions, even if there is one, its not likelly to find a step by step tutorial. it's not like, i wanna hole tutorial just for me just a list of the most important steps and notes (WHAT NOT TO DO!). the rest i will find on google or xda
My phone: Samsung Galaxy SII I9100, android 4.1.2, kernel siyah s2-v6.0b5.
thanks for help!
So have you tried the factory reset ?
I'm not quite sure if it will also reflash the stock kernel but i should be the easiest way if it's working...
So follow this tutorial and you should be able to reset your phone...
Youtube Factory Reset Galaxy S2
But I'm sorry I don't understand what's your problem with flashing other ROMs
Hopefully this solves the half of your problem:fingers-crossed:

Help with my Galaxy Grand i9080L Rom

first of all I apologize if I posted this on a wrong sleection or whatever...
I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand i9080L and i resently found that my phone had an update but when i connected to kies it appeared to be none, nor via OTA. so i Downloaded it from Sammobile and flashed the rom using ODIN.
Now the problem is that when i updated to 4.2 my phone started to run really slow and i did a hard reset and deactivated some applications that didnt work properly but the phone still lags, less but does compared to when i had 4.1.
I dont want to go back to 4.1 because when i do i cant use any game because of a graphic problem that its now solved with 4.2 and some other bugs.
I've been trying to find a custom rom for my GT i9080L but i cannot find any.
Do you guys think i can use a Rom for the DUOS version (i9082) and install it with odin?
Any idea?
please help im kinda desperate because of the lack of suppor for this phone.
I realize that these are for the i9082L dual sim model : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-duos/development
But there have been people in various forums reporting the CM or AOSP type roms run on their i9080l fine since the dual sim support for non Samsung roms are tricky to get working right anyway (example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50659404&postcount=1123 , http://www.madboxpc.com/foro/topic/186437-guia-actualizar-galaxy-i9080l-de-422-custom-a-442-mod/ ). I'd be wary of trying any Samsung based 9082 roms because I have seen people saying that'll brick it (though probably just fixable via Odin).
