My phone recently got wet and after disasemble dry reasemble everything works when first turned on but after almost 1 min. the touch is no longer recognized. Also i have not been able to mount the SD card at all it doesn't recognize even in recovery. Does anyone have any tips? The phone will boot, I have even installed different ROMS and remember the phone works when first turned on like there is no problem at all. Is this a ribbon or motherboard and does anyone want to buy it ?

Hmm..
Everything went fine untill a few minutes ago my phone was connected to my pc and I rebooted it, put in my freshly formatted SD card and it started bootlooping like crazy. So I pulled out my battery two times and after that I just let it loop and it did only twice then, after it the bootprocess was doing it's job and my phone started up.
to bad my HD2 won't recognise my SD card, would the bootloops come from the SD-card?
more commonly comes from bent battery pin
it won't recognise any of my sd cards and i keep on getting memory full
i can't even receive msgs even if my phone states that it has 90 mb free space
it refuses to even delete msgs with the msg that my memory is full

I dropped my streak and shattered the screen. The phone still lit up, but I was unable to slide to unlock it. I ordered a replacement lcd/glass from Ebay. It came in the mail yesterday and I began the teardown of the phone. It surprisngly went well from the tutorials I used (one on youtube and another on ifixit) I had the phone all repaired and assembled and turned the phone on and it worked! Everything seemed to work EXCEPT the bloody auto rotate (had Dell replace one of my phones before that had this problem)
I tried to calibrate the screen with the hold power and both volume buttons. It didn`t fix the problem. I did a factory reset, didn`t fix the problem. A fluke happened, the phone fell a short distance and the battery cover came off. I picked it up, and put the battery cover back on and turned the phone on. The auto rotate worked, then after a second I noticed my music wasn`t there (It said no sd card) So, the fall dislodged the micro sd card. I opened it back up, plugged the micro sd card in, and turned it on, and the rotate doesn`t work again. Tried over and over with the card plugged in and out and auto rotate worked with no micro sd card in there.
I tried to copy all files from the card to my computer and wiped the card clean, installed it and again no auto rotate. I even tried an old 1gb micro sd card from a digicam and it caused the auto rotate to not work. So without a micro sd card the phone works fine.
Anyone have any idea why/what is causing this to happen or what I can do? When the cards are in there, it is able to read them fine, so I couldn't have incorrectly plugged the sd card reader when re-assembling the phone.
Any help/suggestions is appreciated!
Well, my RAZR XT910 screen broke some time ago. In pocket. You know, this whole issue thing with them.
Anyway, I finally want to try fix it. So, Screen is dead, touch too. But I can't give it to service repair, so I want to replace screen myself.
But, before I do it, I wanted to try if phone works. So, I charged it, turned on (without sim card and sdCard).
And.. yeah. Notification light works. I see. I had installed Light manager. It informs me about no sim. I connected it to USB. And... Internal storage is empty. Strange. I had ton of stuff on it. Anyway, I inserted sdCard and connected phone to USB again. Aaannddd... It does not detect external storage.
So.... My question. Can something else be broken on my phone? I don't want to buy LCD and after replacing it I'll realize that phone itself is also screwed up. And how to check if it works without screen?
Hello!
I have got a 64GB micro sd card, it was running for a year or so in my Galaxy S3, before in The Note2. It was pre formatted in exFat - everything worked fine without a problem. (It is a SanDisk SDXC card, the grey/red one)
A few days ago I was walking home and my battery was about 3 or 4 percent. I wanted to listen to some music on my way home, suddenly there was no more music and I couldn't start the phone. I tried the power button, I hoped there may be a little power left, but the screen kept black.
At home I charged my phone. When I started it later the SD Card wasn't recognized. Although I had a lot of music on it I wanted to format it in my phone (I have got all music and the rest of the card backed up on my pc)
It doesn't work, there was some notice like "...couldn't be formatted" I don't know the exact words.
Then I tried to format it from the PC (the card still in the phone) - I couldn't even see the card.
Then I tried it with a card reader, and later on in a laptop with a card reader and both times the same:
If the card gets recognized it has to be formatted, but the size of the card is "32.6 MB" which is definitly wrong. This isn't space that was on the card left, there were some GBs left. Even if I try to format it the PC stops and says something like "couldn't end the formatting" -> my PC has german language, I can't tell you exactly
What can I do now?
Has someone had a similar problem? It was a 64GB card, and these are not cheap
Have I maybe killed the card when the battery was near 0% and I tried to restart the phone?
I am pleased about every answer.
Have a nice day

Hello guys,
I have a problem here that has been bugging me for months
my phone (p8lite ALE21) fell in water for a couple of seconds but after the incident everything appeared to work except when my phone is Idle or I lock the screen and not using it after about 10 secs the phone shuts down for no reason and I have to keep on pressing on the power button for a few seconds to restart, but If I lock it while charging or playing music (anything that doesn't let the phone become idle) it doesn't turn off and works fine.
Confused if it's hardware or software issue but I searched a lot about it tried million different things nothing worked
One thing to notice that my SD card slot doesn't read anymore SD cards ( the cards work fine with other phones )
don't know if it's part of the problem or I have to change my battery?
any suggestions please I would like to hear it
P.S. I don't want to change the battery nor the SD card slot unless I'm sure it's the problem
Thanks

From the info you provided, I believe it is a hardware issue, a faulty circuit, since the phone is unable to remain on until some interrupt is provided, I recommend that you show it to some Phone repair center.
