hi guys!
i´m new here and i have got a question.
i have a samsung galaxy 5 whit android 2.3.7 stock-like rom. my problem is, that the vibration function isn´t working.
thats a really big problem because i use it a lot, and mostly only the vibration function.
what can i do??
please help as soon as possible

When you say it's not working, do you mean that it's turned off or that it's knackered? If it's turned off, turn it on by going to settings, sound and then turn vibrate on...
No, i mean it's knackered, when i turn it on and i recieve a call or a textmessage, it doesn't vibrate

Sorry mate, if it's knackered it's knackered. If you got it from a shop or network provider then you might think about contacting them. I've not heard of this problem before. Keep us posted as to the outcome...Cheers

Hello everybody,
I really hope someone can help me with my wifi problems.
My wifi automatically disconnects. Its is not sleeppolicy or what ever.
The time between every disconnection is random.
It is really annoying when I use msn or when I am downloading something on my phone
First I thought that is was a rom problem, but it is not... I've been on different roms like stock, darkys rom and now CM7 Nightlies #95. With every rom I used I had this problem.
I think it has something to do with my installed apps. I always restore them with titanium backup but I have never restored the data or systemapps... so this is not a problem right??
When I kill al the running apps, the disconections stop for a minute or two but after that it......
It is really annoying and I hope someone could help me
Btw when I disable wifi I don't have any problems.

Try changing sleep policy for it. Instead "turn off the screen" select "Never"

yes there is just turn pull the battery out of your phone remove all parts find the leds of the touch buttons and remove them

Ah... I have an app called KEYBROAD BACKLIGHT CONTROLLER, just search it on the market. and it works. (Cuz im using it right now )

Sorta unrelated, but why?
If you're doing it because you don't want to waste the battery, I'll just let you know that LED lights don't affect too much to the battery.
If you're doing it because it's annoying, then be my guest!

I install the latest CM7 rom on my phone,i noticed that my phone disconnect to network(2G) and after a while reconnect every few minutes.
Is it a bug on CM7?Or i set something uncorrectly?If you can fix it please tell me.i need help.

I don't have this issue but I do have another bug that isn't mentioned anywhere and it's the vibration not working (haptic feedback) on the menu and back buttons. Do you have the same?

Hi guys,
Just wanted some help from you guys. Suddenly i noticed that my s3 has started speaking on its own. Like when i zoom out my homescreens, it says
"Workspace 2 of 3"
When i open a folder,it says
"Folder opened "
I dont know what happened. I didnt tweak any settings and updated to the latest firmware about a week back. Until yesterday there were no voice feedbacks but all of a sudden they have started. Couldnt find any setting to turn them off either.
It is very annonying and any help would be greatly appreciated!

That sounds like TalkBack. Disable it under Settings -> Accessibility -> TalkBack

Have you got Light Flow installed? There is a bug with it due to Samsung/ICS kernel
Yes i did have that app installed and i guess it has happened due to that app only. However, i just uninstalled the app but it still speaks. Will try restarting the phone once and will get back to you. Thank u so much anyways.

I called him several times yesterday night... He said that S3 never rang ... We tried together and it was true! So a phone that doesn't ring I suppose that is useless, isn't it?
