I'm using Lenovo S880 with ICS
it only have 512 RAM and 2GB ROM
I'm curious is there a way to change SMS Storage location from Phone or SIM to External SD.
I'm using Stock Messaging Apps.
I'm asking because the option above only give me limited saved sms, and I have to delete some sms when i need to send another sms.

Also, just go into setting->storage, and select SD as default write disk, instead of USB (which is the name of the internal SD)

Hi, I´m a new member and need your help. My internal storage at ideos s7-105 it is not being detected, i try with flashing and downgrade a firmware and it not helpfull.
In settings only appear:
Internal tablet storage
Total space 175 mb
Available space 159 mb
Sd Card
Total space Unavailable
Available space Unavailable
Mount sd card
Format sd card
¿where is 8 gb? ¿can i recovery it?

More information:
Some programs (total commander and moboplayer) see a second sdcard but it shows in grey color with the simbol "forbbiden". it finds in the directory into rom.

Hi chaps,
I recently bought a Star i9220... running android 4.0 and pretty solidly built chinese phone...
It has an odd set up (to me anyway) for storage... it has 512mb internal, 2gb "usb" storage and my 16gb tflash... i have to go to /root/mnt to change what card I'm looking at in file explorer so it seems to have a second tflash card...
now i'm having issues as i've run out of storage on the 2gb memory apparently, and I was wondering if there was a way to move the apps to the sd card (the 16gb one) as when i move them to sd card it appears to be moving them onto the 2gb one...
is there an app i can get for it? I thought imight be able to change it internally but they have these weird cage type things which i can't work out how they are attached over the cards and as i've only had the phone for less than a month i don't want to destroy it... plus the accellerometer is out too....
any help would be much appreciated!!!

and when i install something like games and app´s with data folders from external sd card (8gb) the system cant load the data of app´s.
Only work when a install it from internal memory (2gb) =(

In my android phone Xperia Pro memory card locked after factory reset (running updated Android 4.0.4)
While trying to delete the files at first it delete but after some time when I open file explore the files again show. Also in storage menu after deleting files available space increase and after some time it will again decreased.
I have tried also connecting phone with both media transfer mode and mass transfer mode the same problem persists.
I have also tried removing memory card from mobile and inserted it in memory card reader, but the same problem persist. I also tried to format memory card with windows, dos, HP disk format, Ubuntu , in this all case it says cannot format media and with SDFormatter_3 message memory card locked.
Please help

I am wondering if anyone knows of a Custom Rom for VZW GNote 2 which allows moving apps to SD card.
I am aware of the "directory bind" and the "swap mod" and the "Beans ROM" as work arounds from my searching on this topic.
I am just longing for good old use of SD card - even my SG3 made good use of the External SD.
Now this Note 2 not only seems to prefer hogging the internal SD even putting media files on internal SD - but there is just no option to off load files off to the External SD, not even apps2SD can see the External SD.
