Go to root explorer.. go to system/data/app and delete the odex file corresponding to the app you were installing(which couldnt install due to low space).. the odex file you want to delete will have name same as the app plus odex..

Its probably because you use lucky patcher... it adds odex files to the app...

Uninstall Gmail. See if that gets rid of the icon.
Of course after that you can reinstall.
Edit : If you can't Uninstall then clear Gmail cache and reboot phone.

Back up your data and factory reset from settings. No need to root.
This should surely get rid of that icon.

Don't worry about the apps as they will be restored when you sign in to your Google account after first boot. Just backup pics and other important files from internal memory to a PC or external sd if you have one installed.

Are you using stock firmware?

reset to factory settings or flash again a new rom...
I tried many things removed apk and data folder, reinstalled and then FC,then I again uninstalled app through setting app and moved signed Phonesky.apk to /system/app/
I set permissions and rebooted.
Google play now shows most apps and no more FC.
Edit:I used stock firmware.

Hi all,
My problem is that I'm not able to install any apps at the moment. The app is only 10mbs (antutu), it's downloading but when it comes to install I get an error msg. Insufficient space available.
However my sd card has more than 5gb, and Internal mem has 500mb. I have the mod that switches these memory as well.
Why am I getting this error msg and how can I fix it?
Thanks.

Use root explorer and go to system\apps\
Delete auntutu or something similer to this program.
Ex. Autuntu.odex

Try installing Lucky patcher. And just open it. It will most probably clear the problem. Easiest method.

Are you quoting the totals or the available space?
Thanks for your response,
It's the free space, forget to note it, sorry!
Is there any issue?

Solved by remove app from data/app or system/app ...just search by root explorer about app who can't installed and removed
So no way out space again ^^
