Just wandering if I would have to buy an official Sony PS3 controller to use with my TF300T or can I get one from any manufacturer?
Just buy one from sony that one works 100%

It has to be an OEM, believe me if you buy some random controller you will regret it. I bought this one here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015AARJI/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i00 and its worked great!

So I received my Transformer Prime today and am having wifi issues (very poor connection strength). Also, I have a group of very bright pixels on the screen.
I know there is a new Transformer tablet in the works that has significantly better specs...so I'd be best to wait. In the meantime, I found a mint TF101 with docking keyboard for $350. Everything checks out and it seems like a great package for the price. This coupled with ICS arriving in two weeks for the TF101 makes it a reasonable decision to return the defective Prime and get this original TF101 w/keyboard.
Is this a good move? I've never owned the original Transformer and hope that it is plenty fast to play flash content. Anyone care to offer a POV on this decision?
I plan on getting the newer Transformer in Q2 when it's rumored to release.

I have both and the OG TP is pretty damn laggy even with a 1.65 OC.
That + the random reboots and freezes makes in a no go for me.
I did it and am happy with my decision. Wifi is crazy strong and the device is plenty fast.
Wake me up when the new Transformer is released. The Prime isn't ready for prime time IMO.

I was browsing and came across this tablet:
http://mobile.theverge.com/2012/5/3/2995878/wikipad-3d-gaikai-cloud-gaming-announcement
It will have a quad core tegra 3 processor and ship with Android 4 and retail at a mere $250 with the gamepad. What I'm wondering is, could this be better than the prime, for like half the price? It does look quite promising and you can switch from 2d to 3d anytime, on any app.
I was set to get the transformer 300 but may this be superior?
Thoughts?

The article doesn't mention that it will be $250. But it would be pretty cool is some third party manufacturer made something like this for the transformer prime.
If you view other articles, then I'm sure the price is meant to be $250. Unless they've changed their plans...

bump as I kinda need guidance on what to do, wait for this, or get the transformer?

if you wait for the best thing there will always be something better just around the corner.
from what i read its a smaller screen and might not even be touchscreen, i dont know i didnt spend a lot of time reading about it... basically its a cheap android tablet that supports 3d and has a custom built gamepad dock.
The prime or 300 are more like premium built tablets that support a hell of a lot more than that gamepad, bigger screen, and a full keyboard dock, however slightly more expensive.
My quesitons for you are this:
Do you need a tablet right away
Will you be using it for games, videos, music, internet, etc.
Will a keyboard dock be benifitial to you
how often will you use the gamepad
will using a bluetooth controller (like a PS3 Controller) be an acceptable alternative
Basically, weigh out each benifit and downfall of each tablet and based on your own use determine which is the best fit for you. None of us can tell you which will be the best decision for you.

Are you kidding?
It's a gamepad not a tablet. Should I buy a car or a tv ?

Hi -
This is my first post on here!
I've lost the smallest "FN" key from my keyboard dock and wondered if anyone knows if these can be purchased anywhere
Thanks
I don't believe so. ASUS will want you to RMA it and they can replace it that way.

So hello as i mentioned on my bootloader unlock thread i dont own this device and im planning on buying it so does anyone know where i can get this phone new for less than 340?? I mean with box and everything, really wanting to try my team unlock method
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
ebay seems to have them anywhere from 180-275 based on recent sales ive observed (plus shipping) depending on the sale
the higher end of the sale price tends to include the box and all original info
brand new in box (sans activating it to clear the esn) is typically under 300
My unlock method can clear gsm esn so can you send me a link

It's a world phone so includes the GSM in it. Not something I normally use but I can bet it is real handy when you go to Europe.
So anybody with a link pointing to some store having the phone for less that 340? I really want this phone and im biding on one on ebay i hope i can win it

Hello everyone. i wonder which type of bluetooth keyboards can we use with our beloved tf300t(g) s? does anyone have Logitech Mediaboard Ps3 keyboard ? an user noticed that it works flawless with kindle 7inch. it would be great if we could use it ?
Why not just use the original Asus ones?
Good question. In my beautiful beautiful country, asus tf kb isn't sold seperately, and i can't find a second hand one. i bought only tablet so it would be good to have a kb just for office applications, portability isn't a issue right now.
You can pick em up for cheap of eBay. Brand new selling for £70

Customs a bit tricky too. Anyway it would be great to have answers to my questions. Thanks in advance
+1 on the Asus dock. If there's anyway possible, that's your best bet. Not sure about bluetooth keyboards. I'm sure there are some posts in here about them if you look hard enough.
