It definitely works bro, I get 4 days of standby and 2 days of heavy usage which includes wifi+3g, lots of temple run and good amount of calls and a few messages.
i also interesed in this battery...

nice battery, where did you get it?
Hey, i got this battery too and he didnt work for me. I had the same battery life as the stock battery.
LG
Ah,the placebo effect (or marketing interests?)...He has a 14% drain of battery from screen, less than half of phone idle, it means he did not use it as he says he did. If you do some research you will find out that there realistically is no way of getting more power out of a battery without increasing its size, there are some 1500 (advertised) capacity batteries which show that they are slightly bigger in size barely fitting in, but also on those users report amperes lower than what displayed...Many batteries out there are fakes...
My solution in battery problem
There is one viable solution from my point of view. Two extra batteries + charger. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-1200mah-...448706?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4ab2080042). It just works for me.
That was my setup with Xperia X10 Mini Pro! 2 Deji batterys plus the original! I think I'll go again for the Deji in my Mini Pro. I was very satisfied with those.
Here's the link
the bigger mAh, then bigger size the batt is. am i correct?

Perhaps this will work perfect for you, it's a cheap and easy solution.

Just posting to get opinions on after market batteries. I have owned the Atrix 4G since the day it came out with no complaints whatsoever. The battery life seems to be comparable to my old iPhone 3g (which i hated) but because the Atrix is so much better I obviously have it opened and am using it a lot more.
-Is it worth it to buy the optional extended batteries?
-Are they bigger that OEM batteries?
-How much longer is the battery life?
-If so, I assume my current Otter Box would not fit?
Thank you for the help.

The largest is a Seidio (which I dont think is out) it's only a 2200 MAH, compared to our 1900 (ish) MAH. I got a new replacement from moto because my battery life wasn't lasting as long as it was when i first bought it. Turned out I actually had the wrong battery mode on and it was using up too much power.
I have the 3600 mah, and while its big and you can't use a phone, it makes it easier to hold the phone imo, and lasts all day easily.

do you have a prob where the % do not reflect the actual battery usage? my battery can show 30% but after a reboot it will show 100%. I can do a reboot twice before it shows the actual %
I can confirm CEOGUY's report on the Seidio3200. It is indeed a beast.
I too experienced the battery calibration problem. I am now using the latest Battery Monitor Widget. Something was fixed in a recent update that allows the calibration to work correctly.

wow, that was nice!!!
Sadly you won't be able to get much more performance out of a stock-sized battery, the manufacturer usually fits the largest battery they can in the phone. Any third party claiming to have a higher capacity is usually lying about the specs.
I would instead focus on software tweaks, I can easily get a full day out of my stock battery with moderate use.
I don't lower any of my settings. I keep the push email. Sometimes I use Live Wallpaper. I let my device pull LTE data speeds whenever I want. With the extended battery it lasts longer than I need in a day. Other than needing to order a case I don't mind. The bulge in the back is not as bad as some people made it seem. Pros outweigh the cons for me.

app helped my battery life
I'm new here and the TB is my first Android phone. I came across an app that has helped with my battery life..... called keyboard backlight controller. It allows you to turn off the two lights that eluminate the four soft keys on the bottom of the phone. I've only been using it a couple days, but really seems to have helped by having those lights off, not HUGE diff, but anything helps.
Not sure if this was the right place to post this, but thought it might be helpful to others. It does require root.

It would be helpful if you elaborate your Note's set-up. Such as like what ROM is being used, brightness level, LTE/no LTE, etc...
My Note currently has no issue lasting a full work-day with LTE on the whole time. And this is with moderate usage. (No videos, and minimal music)
I'm satisfied with mine... Just keep a charger near by.

There are only a few reasons why you see your battery life as terrible.
1) You are coming from an iPhone. But now you're using a tool of a phone, not a toy, so your battery life will be lower.
2) You are coming from the Droid RAZR MAXX, which is the only android with a bigger battery.
3) You have a rogue app that you didn't use before that is draining your battery life.
4) You are using excessive amounts of LTE data, and you came from a phone without LTE.
If those apply to you, there's your answer. If they don't, you may just have a bad device or battery.
You really need to be more specific when stating something as subjective as battery life is terrible. May I suggest you post screenshots of your battery stats so that you can give some insight to why your battery life is terrible. Coming on these forums and ranting without evidence won't get you very far.

Pretty much every device is unique, even though they are produced and assembled in identical fashion. It's possible for a device to have faulty software or internal hardware from the factory that could drain battery, and it's also possible for it to be shipped with a faulty battery. It's not a common issue, but also not unheard of. If nothing in his usage of the device is out of the ordinary, then it's possible he received a faulty device or battery, and should exchange it.

Install cpu spy and make sure you are going to deep sleep. For weeks I couldn't make it through the day and once I realized that the phone wasn't sleeping I found the app that was causing it and deleted it. I get great battery now but still reboot every morning because my original charging cable was lost so my phone will not sleep until I reboot.

I would say battery life can be defined by screen on time only.
Brightness and lte makes much difference.
Anyways just refer to other battey forums. Search helps.

Compared to what???
If you are trying to compare your Note to Apple itoy that is like trying to compare pink tricycle with pink tassels to a Corvette ZR1. No comparison at all, definitely more than apples and oranges. Having owed, well still own till I sell it, Dell Streak only other 5 inch screen out there. Agree it is still not apples to apples (or vette to vette), but Shelby Mustang to ZR1 and can say the battery performance is about the same. I upgraded my Steak to a 2400 mAh battery and had all services on and OC'ed to 1.9 ghz, yes I know single core, standard definition resolution, etc, but as close as you can get in 5 inch screen world. So far the 2500 mAh and stock ROM, with everything on, battery time is relatively the same. Will say only phone that might compare is Samsung Skyrocket HD that is set to come out this month(?), inside they are close to the same, but the screen is 4.6 inch super Amole plus.
Can anyone help me out? This is my battery on battery monitor widget. It says 1500 mah. I've only had my phone off the charger for 3 hours and I'm on 33 percent and watching it drop fast.

Battery Monitor Widget guesses at the capacity (or hard codes it). Go into the apps settings and you can tell it the battery capacity.
Also, make sure your using decent batteries. The two for $15 deals on ebay are not direct replacements. Stick with oem or brand names llike Anker.

Has anyone came across where the phone automatically shuts down even though says battery is at 60% and above even at 85% just force closes the phone system even had it where the battery light [red] flashes and have to leave phone off for a minute then it will turn on ok but them once it does boot after 1 min shuts down again
Tried battery calibration to no effect could it be the battery itself dying or could it be a fault with a kernel even though I've tried roughly 5-6 kernels and it does it all the same and on 5-6 different roms if anyone has any suggestion please don't hesitate I'm getting abit fed up of it doing it

Ok I can tell you a cheeky trick to keep you going til new battery arrives
Place battery flat on a surface
Using a hammer GENTLY TAP AWAY until it's almost back in shape I STRESS GENTLY. Don't pop the cells
This worked for me while i waited for a new battery
That should push the cells back together
When u get new battery charge for no more than 2-3 hours at a time
Charging for a long time causes battery to Bleb from what I've heared

The Xperia u has a smaller screen,a lower clocked processor, you can't expect the amaze to be the same in terms of battery life. It's like comparing the mileage of a Honda civic and a mustang. There is no magical way to double your battery life, but you can lower screen brightness, underclock, etc
