[Q] Mini Pro Touchscreen Dead - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I was re-installing real ics lite 4 on my SK17i after removing some apps from the install package and messed up and selected the wrong phone type in aroma installer and installed WT19 and the touch screen stopped working.
I tried re-installing software with SEUS but still didn't work so I tried Sony PC Companion and the touch screen still don't work but I lost my CWM and I assume phone is no longer rooted.
As I can't use the touchscreen I also can't turn on debugging so can't use flash tool.
Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

I have tried;
SUES to repair phone
PC companion to repair phone
Flashtool to reinstall custom kernel
CWM to install back up
Used keypad to set phone in debugging and turn on MSC mode
Flashtool to set phone back to 2.3.4 - 4.0.2.A.0.42
I think my touchscreen has broken and will need replacing but if anyone has any other suggestions I can try let me know.

if you really want to use miniCM7 and have your BL unlocked, just flash nAa's kernel with flashtool
if not, you absolutely need to start from the beginning using SEUS, sorry (post 3 of my FAQ, you'll get links to debrick )
and read carefully everything before making mistakes
I was in the same situation. I installed minicm7 pro v20 and then it entered infinity loopboot. With luck, i pressed the menu button for some seconds just before "sony ericssom" appear and then i entered in the CWM 3.2 menu, where i did a restore.

Don't worry if the Flashtool says 'USB debugging is disabled' if you enabled it before flashing it,it is because the Flashtool got a problem with connecting to your USB debugging feature in your phone...
About the bootloop,it is considered a softbrick as it can be fix as long as you can connect your phone to your PC in Flashmode

HElp Help Help!!!!
Ok. Judging by the fact that you're stuck on the Sony Ericsson logo, I'm assuming you're on the stock kernel and also on locked bootloader. Because you tried to install BlackHD Edition as well, I'm assuming you also have CWM.
The simplest method is if you made a backup in recovery and can access recovery. If you did this, you can simply restore the backup to get the ROM and data you were using before back. If this does not work properly (sometimes backups are screwed up somehow in recoveries), read on for the flashing method.
The X10 showed a green LED when you plugged it in which suggests that it can access flash mode (which is what I'd expect if you didn't tamper with the X10 so much as to break even that). If you have FlashTool, the following series of instructions should work:
1. Download the Xperia X10 stock firmware and move them to the firmware folder of the X10 FlashTool (the firmware can be found in this thread as well as the latest FlashTool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746)
2. Open FlashTool and press the flash button at the top left of the program
3. Select the stock firmware from the list and press ok
4. Instructions telling you to turn off and unplug your phone and plug it in with flash mode should pop up (hold back while plugging the cable in). Follow them and wait.
If you did this properly, you should have flashed the stock Sony Ericsson firmware with everything as it was when you bought the phone (if you flashed the 1.6 firmware) or updated the X10 to 2.3.3 (if you flashed the 2.3.3 firmware). That should be the most fail-proof and reliable way (I've saved my X10 from my stupid experiments through this several times already)
Just a little side note: If my assumptions are correct, you tried to flash the BlackHD Edition MIUI-based ROM through CWM on a locked bootloader and stock Sony Ericsson kernel probably without flashing the lockedbl.zip that's provided in the BlackHD Edition thread. Most FXP custom kernels work with that ROM without a problem, but the stock one just doesn't because it's far too different. You could have either chosen the locked or unlocked installation method on the thread (I know because I've done it before). The unlocked one requires an unlocked bootloader and a FXP custom kernel, neither of which I think you have. The locked method only requires CWM installation and for you to flash the lockedbl.zip after installation. I think your issue must have come from the fact that you forgot that last part, or some other strange error occured.

yours assumptions are correct.
About instructions to how to connect to flashtool, i know they. i click on flash button, select firmware and when pop up to plug-in, i do it...but don't work...don't connect...
As in, it doesn't recognise the device?
I think there's another way where you take the battery out and plug the phone into the computer. The green LED should light up for about 5-10 seconds (when it's in flash mode) where you have a window to select the firmware and flash. I haven't personally tried it, but I'm asking someone who has done it about how it's done. You might want to try that method as you can't really do much else with your phone right now. I'll update this post once I know the exact method and details

Once flashtool asks you to connect USB cable..connect the phone with the battery removed. THEN replace the battery while holding the power button and it should start up into flashmode.
It may even work without holding the power button...
Its strange because when stuck at SE logo you can't follow the on screen directions to get it to work

If your bootloader is locked, you can choose the option to repair phone in pc comp. Another possibility why your phone is not detected might be because of drivers.
It may also because of his usb not working , the problem might have started . I want to check out whether your phone is charging and i also want to know that in devicemanager your phone when connected in flash mode shows as "semc usb device "
Thanks

Xperia Mini not responding

Hate to admit it but... My friends xperia mini, after having flashed from original gb to ics via flashtool with LOCKED BOOTLOADER does not respond. I can see the lockscreen but the touch screen doesnt work... Although it worked fine while it was in gb... The irony is that i cannot flash any ftf file now bcoz it always cannot proceed past the opening phone for rw operations... It reads the header and then the flash is cancelled...
What should i do? Repair via seus?

-yes i would allwaysm admit to use sony pc software when u want switch back to (stock) ics/gb u can use repair mode in seus
first you shoul install fastboot driver and android sdk i guess. then, while your phone is completely turned off you should press and hold the volume down button and at the same time should plug in usb cable. then, green led should brighten up and now you are in the fastboot mode. afterwards, you should install a kernel supports cwm. after that you can install any versions of different OS'es via cwm recovery mode.

[Q] Xperia U Hard Bricked

Hi there,
I have a rooted xperia u with unlocked bootloader. I've tried to install the cm9 following a guide where the requirement of the installation was having an original Sony firmware installed on the device. I didn't saw that requirement, and I installed it with a custom rom on my phone. So after flashing the kernel I turned on my xperia...
Bricked.
It made only the vibration but no Sony logo appeared. So, I connected it in flashmode on my computer (with windowsXP) with green led working, but flashtool gived me the message that I must install the phone drivers (even if I had already installed them on my pc). I tryed to reinstall them but nothing canghed.
I also tried to connect the phone on a windows 7 pc always with flastool (and drivers installed) but in that case neither fastboot mode or flashmode, nor any vibration was working (pc doesn't detect it).
I tried to connect the phone with removed battery or also a reset with power and volume up buttons but nothing...
It's still like this, with fastboot mode or flashmode not working with any pc... :crying:
Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks in advance.
Head to Sony service centre
Hit thnx

Sorry Cwikla, I didn't flashed the kernel, but the rom. I wrote it wrong.
Try getting into fastboot. Even without drivers, you might be able to do so. Bring up the fastboot menu in flashtool, then plug in your phone in fastboot. Quickly hit reboot into fastboot (via fastboot). Then flash another kernel and restore a nandroid backup(if you have one)

[Q] Xperia Pro (Mk16i) Recovery

Hello.
I have tried all methods of entering Recovery Mode on my Xperia Pro so I can install a custom R.O.M. on it, but it won't let me. Tried using the vol down button method, tried using apps to reboot in recovery, nothing works. Any help?
Edit: Okay, so I managed to do a recovery and installed or misinstalled a mod. Now my probelm is that the phone freezes at the Sony Logo and I can't do anything to it. My pc doesn't even detect it with Sony Pc Companion or Sony Mobile Flasher. Any ideas?

Have you installed driver for flash mode? You can use the one included in flashtool folder. PC Companion or flashtool should detect the phone even if your phone won't boot.
