google sign-in error even if I am connected to google - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have started getting google sign-in errors in my notification area even though all google services are working fine.
reboot did not solve the problem. I am using stock JB on galaxy nexus. Today I updated to the latest update of google map , I am not sure if this error is anyway related to the app update.

Same problem here.. I'm from India..Nexus S JB Stock. It looks like server is acting up

I read an article earlier about it happening to a lot of people. It was on my gnex last night, and I woke up this morning, clicked on the notification, and it went away finally. Hopefully it's fixed for the rest of you too.

Flipboard

I got the app from the site but I'm not seeing the widgets, what happened?

Anyone?
Sent from my EVO using XDA
My best guess is that the widget(s) aren't available for the Andorid beta version yet. I had the first "leaked" version and have since uninstalled that and got the "official" beta from Flipboard which is now on the third iteration 1.8.4 beta 3, 86, but I have yet to see the widget either (though I don't know that I checked when I had the leaked version). I see the setting to set how often the widget updates, but I don't see the Flipboard widget in my widget options.
I don't know how much it matters, but I should add that this is on my original Evo 4G (I don't yet have the new one).
I got it running well on mine running FLIPS

how? why doesnt it show up on mine?
The app has been officially released in the Google Play store today! https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ult#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImZsaXBib2FyZC5hcHAiXQ..
It's awesome and even has Google+ integration, which I love! BUT...even though the Play store description says it has them, I don't see any widget options on my phone. I am still on the original Evo 4G. But I would think it would specify if a feature was for ICS only.

Working fine here.
Here's a picture:

I had to uninstall Flipboard and then re-install it from the Play store. Just updating from the Play store wasn't fixing it. The widget is working well now.

Dude not for nothing but you need search just a little bit. We only have like 25 threads on google wallet and it not working.
I tried searching but can't find my exact problem . I know after rooting it says unsupported device etc. But mine now says device not certified etc.

I had this same problem. You need to open your build.prop file and change 3 lines to GT-I9300. I made the changes yesterday, and my Google card is working just fine now.
I'm not rooted - now all of a sudden today wallet says my carrier or device is not supported. No idea what happened.

Google Wallet Team knows about this, a fix is coming.
It'd be nice if Google made people aware but still,
Please search people.

man im having the same problem. my evo is not rooted or anything. i just came from the Gnex and its rooted but i didnt think you had to clear the settings on that phone for wallet. but now when i try to get into the app its saying that google wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device/carrier...sucks
Google disabled it on the LTE. Nothing you can do unless you root and change your build prop

Alarm nag

Every time I snooze my alarm, I get this notification nag as an ongoing notification, and there seems to be no way to make it go away without a reboot. Any body else have this or know how to make it stop or go away? Clicking on it does nothing-no app is opened and it doesn't dismiss. As it's ongoing, trying to swipe it away does nothing. It's dammed annoying too.

I have the same problem. I have tried numerous things to make it go away but nothing works except a phone restart. I run a Samsung Galaxy S3 on Verizon stock rom and rooted, android 4.1.1.

Do you have location alarm turned on, by chance?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
No. Snooze on one, snooze and smart alarm on another.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Try turning off the alarm section in the voice commands from S-Voice, if i remember correctly there are options to disable certain features, if not thats most definitely an S-Voice notification, i was getting that All of the time until i just disabled s-voice..
Damn didn't realize that option was there. Bet that takes care of it, thanks.

Elm agent

I tried to Google this and couldn't find what it is. Just wondering what it is and what it does? Thanks!
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
From google'ing the ELM Agent on the internet I haven't been able to find something specific within a short period of time, but I have found references to mail servers.
So I would think this is your answer.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44716164&postcount=7
It has to do with the activation agreement of some enterprise service email account you add to the phone. Then logging of that email account's actions. Haha thats a rough guess based on just looking through the apps intents etc.
Stumbled upon this thread during my search to find out what ELM Agent is.
Found this - ELM Agent - Emulated Legacy Mount for multi-user support
And yes, I know this thread is old.
would it be ok to freeze/delete?
I did and I don't see any side affects.

Someone put it there , does your phone get hot, battery drain faster, 5 to 10 second delay or locking up when you make calls, light up by itself?

Help for low sound sprint Samsung galaxy note 3

Unrooted, & unfortunately still bloated; the sound is so low even when turned up full that I can hardly hear the caller & have to frequently ask them to repeat themselves as if I were deaf. I don't even try music or books. PLEASE GIVE A GIRL SOME HELP!
Could be the area you're in, weak connection, on most calls I have the opposite happening. If you have NAB and have Wi-Fi try Wi-Fi calling and see if it clears it up...If it persists after that could be a hardware issue and you should take it in to Sprint.

i did try wifi calling for awhile, but that didn't seem to help and was only available whenever i was near a friendly wifi. i tried a booster from the playstore but that was totally ineffective. i guess from lack of response, i should assume the only recourse is to root this device. i just haven't had the time to study the information on how to and which roms, etc were available that appeal to me. i've had Galaxy S3 & 4 for so long the Note was a real switchover.
But thanks for your help.
Not sure which build you're on but you could try flashing one of the stock files and see if that does the trick.

No you can not, you need a custom recovery.
I have a mod, if you decide to root.
Volume boost:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761053
You don't need a custom rom, just need root and my mod.
I would recommend fre3 rom though. It's very solid and my mod works perfectly with it.
