I downloaded a bunch of skins for the UCCW widget and while most work a few of them, when applied to one of my screens, shows most of the skin then a small icon of the gallery icon....like it's a placeholder or something.
the thing is I have all the correct images/fonts/files for each widget/skin but there are a few that show the small gallery icon on top of the skin...should the images for these specific widget skins be in a certain directory?
I know it's something small but I can't figure out what it is...
any/all help is appreciated.

So I made some icons for a theme I am trying to put together with ADW Launcher EX. The icon is for the "Launcher Actions" icons to move from one screen to another. I noticed though when I apply the icon I made it seems to be a lot smaller than the icon space provided, no matter how big I end up making the icon.
Anybody have any ideas on how I could make it bigger or have a different method of moving from one screen to another with the ADW action thats there?
is there any white space/empty space around the icons you can crop away?
No there isnt. I am saving them as pngs and are as close to the image border as I can make them to be.
I really love TouchwizUX, but the thing I hate is FOLDERS. I have a lot of widgets and folders on my homescreen, but is there any way to create Trebuchet-like folders (icons one behind the other in a circuit) instead of TouchWizUX's (PC-like map icon and small icons inside)?
[Q2] When I reach the end of my homescreens (7) and slide to the first one, the wallpaper slides immediately, how to fix that sliding wallpaper takes like half, 0.75sec. I hope you understand. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT7h0OmcTpE watch this, and you will understand)
Any theme, or modification?
Hey all,
Maybe it's a stupid question but I want this guys screen on my S3
http://ihadapony.deviantart.com/#/d5k67o3
He made it for the Nexus 4, so I have to remove the empty bar. But I was wondering how I should resize it for the S3?
thx
hi
nice WP
i would suggest you just copy it to your device and set it with an app like
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.juggler.CropWallpaper
or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lvcm9tby5hdXRvbWF0aWNzZXR0aW5nd2FsbHBhcGVyIl0.
good luck !
Thanks
it worked, love the wallpaper!
Now I just need to find a transparent icon. The one I have is not completely transparent because I can see them.
transparent icon for what app ?
something like this?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger.ad
To put icons on top of the wallpaper
Took a screenshot, you can clearly see that the transparent icon I have isn't really transparent.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/aiy6av6pi5wt2vs/Screenshot_2012-11-06-11-36-55.png
i guess your'e talking about the dock icons.
first you need to create a transparent icon, i would suggest photoshop but the most important thing is to save the file as PNG oppose to GIF\JPG.
other thing is to make sure you have a launcher which supports it.
I get that the developers/designers are only doing themes for specific screen resolutions right now, but why is the core tools for creating custom Themer widgets restricted by large grid settings?
Confused as to what I mean? Please let me explain.
I can create a custom widget, which starts with the background box. But, in order to line the background box up with my home page background, I have to set the color of the background widget to a solid color and then resize it since it doesn't visualize the snap-to grid element (which it does).
So, as I said above, why is this limitation there in the first place? On my Note 2 I can't create a widget that goes to the top of my screen because it is out of bounds of my screen and when I go to add elements to the widget, they don't line up correctly unless I resize the widget background box to snap to below the top of my screen (by a good amount).
So, is it at least possible to have the default grid snap distance greatly reduced or give us an option to set it ourselves in regards to setting the widget itself?
I've encountered zero issue with moving elements within a widget box other than the inability to lock items individually once placed (that would truly help in them designing).
Sorry for any confusion, I'm not aware of the standard labels for the various design elements of a widget or the like.

Hows it going? Im Bill from MCS.
Im a still a bit confused as to what you are asking and what tools it is that you are using in Themer that are giving you the issue.
Im sure you have already made sure that padding is turned OFF in the settings, but I have to say just to be safe.
IF you are getting spaced on the sides or top or your widget, you might want to check to see if you are using odd numbers for the Grid (rows and columns). Because of the way custom build widgets from WYSIWYG editors like Zooper and Everything widget render on the screen you might be a 1px gap if you are using odd numbered Rows or Columns in your grid.
This is the first thing I would check. I have seen an issue where for some reason I get a 2 or 4px padding on the top and bottom of the widgets. It only happens to me now and again. I can usually delete the widget and re-add it to get rid of the issue.
When I try to add a zoomed widget in the same area as my weather widget, the weather widget was pushed off the screen and I can't get it back. Sure I can just try to make a new one but it's still running somewhere off the screen. Is there a way to list all widgets you have on screen? And delete them in that list? Or from a list default them to center of screen? I know the themer widgets can stack so why are they moving on their own? This is especially true if I try to edit a theme I download. As soon as I press configure or resize or add something the theme goes ape **** and everything just moves. Not using a custom dpi. Stock Rom galaxy note 3.

Hi vitessex,
We're not too sure how this happens, as testing it now reveals that a widget cannot push another one off the screen. However in your unlucky case, we suggest going into Themer's main settings - Advanced - Desktop - enable Allow overlapping Widgets. This should then just cause the widgets to overlap instead of jumping around.
Which downloaded themes are causing this? Most new themes should have the overlapping widget setting enabled to prevent this issue.

It seems to do it with all the themes I have downloaded. And even happened on the one I am making myself. But currently I will show an example with the theme "Coordinate." The overlapping Widgets option is enabled and this is what happens when I add a widget or edit in any way really.

I see. There might have been a bug during installation. Try this:
1. Uninstall Themer.
2. Delete the /sdcard/MyColorScreen/ folder (removing the Exported folder within it if you saved any themes).
3. Reinstall Themer.
Let me know how this goes.
