Hello,
I bought a used galaxy nexus S that is on version 2.3.6.
It does not seem to be reading any sim cards and the baseband version is listed as unknown.
I think it may be on a custom rom because of this. I want to flash it back to a stock rom but have no idea where to start. I downloaded 4.1.1
the google site. which I can`t link to because I am new here..
my nexus s is I9020A so i downloaded that version of jellybean but have no idea where to go from here.
Are there any easy to follow guides? And am I even on the right track here?

my phone stuch on logo samsung galaxy s2 i install throgh the odin stock kernel Kernel_I9100XXLPH_2 i dont know its wrght or not and i tryed to install stock frimware ics 4.0.4 its stuck on factoryfs.img i need help pls

i installed Siyah-s2-v4.1.4
and it came samsung logo with yellow triangle and ics eye logojust it
what can i do else???

boot to recovery.
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache (under advanced)
Reboot phone

Remove your battery and check or the galaxy SII logo when you boot your phone will also show the model no.

ok but this website has only roms of carriers (cellular operators) which is not what I want and need. I need the rom that I had in the beginning, when I bought the phone

I have a question, i have a Galaxy S I9100M model, where does go under, meaning if i want to flash a custom ROM under what Sub-forum should i choose the ROMS from? S I9100 development or the S I9100G section.
I don't want to flash the wrong ROM since this isn't my own phone.

u should choose the one's under the I9100 section ma8, since I9100G is a different one(hardware wise) compared to all other I9100 and its derivatives for sure

GT I9100.
Everything meant for GT I9100 will work for your phone.
GT I9100G stuffs are not compatible with your phone so stay away from them
