Emoji icons on EVO? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I remember reading a while back there was a port don't remember for this phone or not but my girlfriend was asking me about it. Anyway to get them working on android?

I'm not 100% but I think Handcent supports emoji.

Use emoji keyboard, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.klncity1.emojikeyboard to write them.
Then, if you're rooted you can replace the droidsans fallback.ttf in system/fonts with the one in this link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hwk72t to see them.
Set permissions and reboot to see them. There's more detailed instructions on the emoji keyboard app description on Google play. Hope that helps.

How can I change the font for the whole system, not just on my keyboard. I've tried several font changers from the market but they only change the keyboard and Facebook. I'm currently rooted but still on the stock ROM. I'm still locked as well. I'm not ready to flash anything yet although I'm familiar with the process.
I appreciate any suggestions.

You could replace the fonts that the system uses with other fonts, assuming you can find where they're stored.

Use the Font Installer app in the Play Store it has over 200 fonts to choose from and it installs it for you

How do I get emoji smileys to show in my stock text messages app??

I just realized that we dont have smiley's attached to our stock text messages app like we did before on our OG EVO's. I use the Go keyboard app & emoji plug in but when I try & input the smiley faces it doesn't go through.....What can I do or use 2 input smiley faces inside of my text messages using the stock messaging app??

Emojis in Stock messaging app?

Hi all
Is there a way to get Emojis to show in the stock messaging app?
I don't really want to use them but have friends who have iphones and use them and the squares with question marks are annoying
Phone not yet rooted (hopefully Monday!)

I have never used it long enough to find out. I always use GoSMS which has the smiley add on.

Samsung keyboard.

It seems as though the Samsung keyboard doesn't auto add or prompt to add to the custom dictionary. Anyone else?

Welcome! Lol. Yeah, we've known about this for awhile. Search for Adrynalyne's fix. Google it.

Does anyone know have Samsung keyboard apk? If you have, can you post the attachment? Thank you!
Just go into the settings touch predictive text then select personalized data, it will remember things then

Not for autocorrect, it won't.

Where would the HTC sense keyboard be located if you know and don't mind because when I try to put a different jb keyboard apk in my Rom (themed) the HTC sense keyboard in settings language and keyboard disappears. I want to put it back using root explorer once I put the HTC imeapk in system apps. Thanks for your input

In the above post. I'm referring to language and keyboard in settings. It keeps disappearing when I change the HTC ime apk. I've never had this happen. I'm adding a themed keyboard setting permission, reboot, and then this happens
