Here're all current XT910 Leaks listed, that we got right now. But unfortunately there's no ME Retail. I'm not sure, if you can use the Asian or EU Retail. Sorry, i guess you'll have to wait for official release. Maybe another ME Retail user can confirm, that you can use one of this Leaks. I won't brick your Phone

Is it good and stable? I have a Middle East Razr Maxx and about to try this out.

Yes, it is stable and I am getting a good battery life as well.

Do anyone know from where to download Blur_Version.673.94.328.XT910.MERetail.en.06?

[GSM] BR/LATAM Razr 2.3.6 help needed !

It looks to me like the main reason I can't get bluetooth working on the BR/Rodgers/LATAM Razr on all the new GSM ICS variants is because there is no updated (2.3.6) kernel for it.
Can anyone help in what may be able to be modified in the ICS roms so that the BT doesn't cause reboots/crashes ? Or is anyone aware of a 2.3.6 rom/kernel to get it compatible ?
I'm just a noob, so maybe I am totally wrong here ?

Thanks for the tip, but that still does not work. I have tried 2 that i have come across. The reason being I believe is that the nandroid still does not change the kernel. Are you aware of one that works? That why i posted, so someone could point me in the right direction if they have had success.

I am on that rom now, and have been several times.
Here is the kernel version: 2.6.35.7-g3798510
The kernel does not change, and you found out as well.
As far as moving to general: This is really an issue that would help move along development by enabling those with BR/LATAM devices to work with the newer roms. Thats why I posted here.
I get your point and is some how logical. I wonder if we could flash the kernel separately.. is still the same device just different signature
Lets hope a dev comes to the rescue

Unfortunately it looks like we are at the mercy of Motorola to release a 2.3.6 update for the BR. I was hoping a dev could shed some light on the possibility of replacing the ICS rom's bluetooth portion with one from 2.3.5 to stop the crash or get it useable.

I don't believe in 2.3.6 to my br razr no more.I see Q1 ending in 2 weeks, and the ICS rollout is going to happen in Q2 according to moto announcement. For the sake of my update i hope they skip this 2.3.6 and go right to the point giving us 4.0! (Or we will see 2.3.6 while the rest of the world gets they ICS and then, my friend, we are really screwed).

By the end of Q2, they mean?
So hold on a second, there's a way to go from Brazilian ROM to the en.eu stock ROM and then onto the en.eu leaked ICS build? And the only problem is that bluetooth doesn't work in ICS? Does it work if you flash the Gingerbread en.eu build?
How's the switch to en.eu ROM is done? Just by editing build.prop file? Can you post this build.prop file please?

The BT doesn't work because of the incompatibility of 4.0 BT and the 2.3.5 kernel. Changing to the en.eu rom dosn't change your kernel version, just the system version.
You can just install arctic 3.0 on your BR if you want 2.3.6 system, but you will still be on the old kernel.

After I install arctic 3.0 -- can I flash the stock 2.3.x en.eu ROM? Does the fastboot image not include the kernel? So if I go BR -> arctic -> en.eu GB -> en.eu ICS why my kernel would still be the old one?

We can't change our kernel no matter what you do.
You can run whatever system you want, including like for example Ubuntu or Gentoo Linux, Arctic ROM, CM, etc BUT, you will be using the same kernel (that we can't change no matter what).
We can only boot official motorola kernel signed for LATAM. EU users have a wider option of kernels, including the one from the leaked ICS.
For now, LATAM users can choose between 2 very similar kernel versions. The one from retail rom and the other from vivo.
I am impresse that the only incompatibility noticed so far is the Bluetooth. Can anyone please confirm that?
I'm running ICS with BR kernel (vivo). Besides Bluetooth, we got no hardware acceleration working, but i didn't noticed performance drop in any game compared to 2.3.5. i believe the problem it's just the implementation in google chrome and flash video layer too.
I will switch back to GB because of the camcorder

Why is this in the retail rom thread? If this is a custom rom it doesn't belong here!

A problem

I upgraded my Razr to ICS 4.0.3 Beta and now I wanna downgrade it back to Gingerbread 2.3.6
Can anyone tell me how should I do that?
Pick a suitable rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1518519
and flash it via the RDS lite
from where can I get the official one?

Thank you
How should I decide which one is suitable for my phone?
Honestly I don't know which rom is suitable for Indian phones but I am surprised that you flashed an unofficial ics rom without making a fallback nandroid backup....
India was a part of British colony so flashing a rom for EU/GB may be just fine :-DD

To ICS from 651.167.21.XT910.Retail.en.EU?

I am very sorry people but I have no idea what to do.
I have a Motorola RAZR XT910 with the 651.167.21.XT910.Retail.en.EU firmware. When I hit system-update the phone tells me that there is no update available. As far as I can tell my phone is unbranded. My carrier is from germany is called Simyo and runs on the german E-Plus network.
I have read that the updates to ICS should be rolling out sometime this month.
But I was wondering if I could update to ICS without waiting? There are so many ROMS and Fastboot and stuff flying around that I have no idea what to take and to flash. What I know is I have to flash the following version of exact my ROM, right? So maybe it isnt even possible?
Answer would be appreciated.
Cheers
why dont u flash an ICS stock ROM then?
mine have the same version with urs, and then i flash an ICS stock ROM as soon it's available here

Can I flash any ICS stock ROM? I am unsure because I read that you can only flash ROMs that work with the right build.
So I will just take a ROM from the Project Eternity thread that is ICS and flash it, right?
yes u can. before that, just make sure that the ROM is for XT910. Not for XT910S or else

[Q] ICS on Mexican XT910?

I'm in Australia and have bought an XT910 from someone in America and it turned out to be Mexican (woo ebay).
Currently
System version: 651.73.250.XT910.AmericaMovil.en.01
Android version: 2.3.5
Baseband version: U_1C.76.03P
For that carrier 2.3.5 is still the newest update and what I want to do is flash it over to whatever would be best for Australia. (I use TPG which uses Optus) I want 4.anything
I've rooted the phone and I have an EuropeAustralia rom from sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_spyder/list.php if I chuck that into RSD Lite (5.6) I get an error:
Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. 1/11 flash cdt.bin "cdt.bin_signed" -> Phone returned FAIL; phone connected
This doesn't brick my phone but it doesn't do anything else either.
I read somewhere that you can't flash to different baseband versions, but I'm not sure about that statement..
Thoughts? I'm relatively new to this so thanks for being patient
No matter where you live, you must flash a firmware for it's ORIGINAL region (functionality it's not different by region), in fact all regions of the XT910 have been in ICS for quite long, since you have a mexican XT910 then you can flash any LATAM and Canada firmware but I recommend you this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753383 first since it is bloatware free, after then you can research more and get more knowledge to mod it the way you like :good:
Edit:
In the post I linked download the one that says retail brasil

Thanks, worked a charm. Thought it would be something like that, I was sure everything else was fine.
Also, you can try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2078021
Its the JB leak.
Don't worry ; you aren't going to brick ur phone.
Just follow all steps and everything is going to be fine
If everything goes wrong...you can flash GB on your phone (just download fastboot gingerbread rom) and flash it with rsd lite ; then update again to ICS.
Welll, its pretty easy
If you need anything else just ask
after you flash ICS there's no way back to gingerbread, you don't have to flash gingerbread before flashing ICS, unnecessary

No offence bro, but that's the worst advice I've heard yet..
First up you can't follow the guide to JB path if you're on GB ( bmm is ics and up only )
so then if you do upgrade to ICS and then follow the path to JB there is no way you can down grade to GB
My advice use ics and enjoy ...easy

[Q] Reverting from 98.72.16 (JB OTA) to 6.16.211 (ICS) - Razr MAXX

Hi, all! JB is looking great on my Razr, but at this point I'm in need of reverting back to the official 6.16.211 ICS version.
The main question here is, of course: is this possible? I have the Droid RAZR Utility 1.82 installed on my computer, but I'm hesitant to just use the Fastboot Restore 6.16.211 option for fear of bricking my precious phone!
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks so much!

It's not possible to revert back to ICS from JB -- just as it wasn't possible to revert from ICS back to GB.
When updating to JB, the bootloader signature and kernel versions change, which do not allow "downgrading" back to ICS.

Well, there's my question answered! Thank you very much.
To add.
I'm on JB right now. Would fastboot do the trick to get back down to ics? Or am I going to have to do it the old fashion way? (RSD)

My thoughts exactly PRS!
This is what happens when ppl don't READ THE OP . If ppl would ,they would see in big bold letters"There is no way too downgrade from this" Also why would anyone want to go back down to ICS ? If your phone is borked learn how to use the proper files to fastboot flash system. The first thing anyone should install is safestrap anyway, this protects your original system state. SMH
Strange because I have an EU Droid Razr Maxx and I erased my CID then installed vrz jb leak then reflashed the CID and reverted back to ICS EU and now I'm on EU JB.
I think VRZ JB and ICS EU have the same security version (CDT) but the new JB EU is having higher CDT (7) so there is no way back to ICS unless you flashed the EU JB ZIP instead of applying the JB EU OTA over the ICS EU.
