Does anyone know of a way to force USB debugging? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have just been given an old Wildfire that is unrooted, s-on and network locked that has somehow managed to get itself into Qualcomm diagnostic mode. I am unable to get anywhere, adb - device offline. Is there anyway to force on USB debugging so that I am able to use a goldcard?

unroot successfully but.... still have problem...

before I root my vibrant, If I connect my phone to PC(NO debugging mode), it was working as mass storage.
After rooted, It has to be debugging mode all the time, whenever I try to access to mass storage of my phone.
If no debugging mode, it only charge my phone.
So I thought, It will work if I do unroot my phone.
So I finally unroot my phone!(No more Superuser and try to use quickboot and asking my to root my phone.)
But still it only charging my phone without debugging mode.
The problem with the debugging mode is, if the samsung android driver is not installed, it won't reconize the phone. I use my phone as memory stick a lot of times. So I usually connect to my phone a lots of different computer.
So I want to be able to connect my phone using as mass storage with no driver needed.
Is there any possible way to fix this problem???

[Q] [Q ; HELP] IMMEDIATE HELP for USB Debugging Problem

I have an LG L7 II Dual P715, and I was in 4.4.2 before, now I downgraded to Jellybean so that I'll be able to root it [I GOT THE KDZ FILE OF THE JB FIRMWARE FOR MY DEVICE FROM THIS LINK http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=21 ]. When I connected my phone to my laptop running windows 7 32-bit without turning on the USB Debugging yet and keep it in MTP connection, my phone got recognized immediately by the laptop (because i already had the drivers installed even before), but whenever I turn on the USB Debugging, when i connect it to my laptop, it just charges and it doesn't automatically enter the USB Connection Type where in i supposedly have to choose whether to use MTP connection or LG Software connection etc. unless I manually go to that section in the settings of the phone.
I have downloaded the driver of my phone. I even downloaded a universal driver of LG yet I still get the problem.
so basically, the problem is I CAN'T CONNECT MY PHONE TO MY LAPTOP IF IT'S IN A USB DEBUGGING MODE. I opened the Device Manager and I can't seem to find any trace of my device when it is in USB debugging mode Except if It is TURNED OFF.
What do you think is the problem with this? Is it my LG phone or the computer who has the problem? When I was in kitkat, I never experienced such issue, but when I flashed it back to JB, I cant rid of this problem anymore, PLEASE HELP, I badly want to connect my phone to the laptop while the USB Debugging is turned on.

If all you need is to root your device then you don't need USB debugging. You just need to use copy Framaroot's apk to your device and install it, and that you can do in MTP mode as well.

Never had similar problems with the USB drivers nor needed LG's tools, so can't help you there.

Unable to enter USB debugging mode

Hello all,
I purchased this phone a month back and would like to install custom roms/root it etc.
I am unable to get my phone to enable USB debugging and allow access for my PC. (I have a unlocked bootloader). The notification (prompt) for USB Debugging which shows up the phone (asking if one wants to grant access or not) doesn't show up. Hence I am unable to use adb or fastboot to install TWRP.
I have tried using the cable provided by the company on both USB 3.0 & 2.0 ports to no avail.
I am aware that there is a "How to Guide" under the News/Discussions section. However, it hasn't helped me much.
Any possible solutions?
Thank you
PS- When I connect to pc using USB cable I get the prompt asking me if I want to use it for file transfer,PTP or no data transfer.
Are the drivers properly installed?
What does the device manager show, when your phone is connected via USB and USB debugging is switched on?
What happen if you type "adb shell" when your phone is connected?
Enable it in developer option
Allow USB debugging and USB debugging Security Settings) in Developer Options

Remove lock or enable usb debugging on non-rooted phone (Read data inside a locked phone)?

So i forgot the PIN number on my old phone which was not rooted, had no recovery software (Cwm, Xrec, etc.) installed on it, and has usb debugging and auto-mount disabled. We don't know the google account associated with the phone. Basically all I have is the phone and a usb cable. Is there a way to get the user data out of it? Adb won't recognise the device btw. I do apologise if it's a stupid question. The phone automatically connected to the wifi, and I'm on Linux, if that helps. But I managed to get into recovery but adb only recognises the device in sideload mode. The files inside the phone is extremely important to me because it contain photo of my family member that were passed away.
Phone: Vivo V7 Plus
I wanted to try brute-force the PIN with program but unfortuntely the phone will cool down for 7000 second (3hours+)
A phone typically knows of 2 USB modes: ADB & MTP. If MTP mode was enabled and phone supports a USB-C connection then it should be possible to fetch the user-data you're interested in.

Hi, first of all thanks for your respond. In order to enable MTP i need to have the phone unlock right? how can i enable MTP if the phone is locked ?
All I know is that ADB is the door to any Android device and nothing than that.
