New... bottom... bar? Could you please develop?
If you mean the bar alike Galaxy Nexus S, you can disable it in Options -> Rom Control -> Navigation bar
Reboot afterwards just in case
How stupid i was ... thanks a lot!
is there anyway to pop the navbar out, when it is needed...
Something like sliding the bar out?
I also get an error message of swype - screen resolution does not match..
how can i fix that?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.. i have installed Omega ROM v4.0 but i hate the notifications bar
http://i.imgur.com/yPDOt.jpg
it's possible change notifications bar with toggle button?? (similar AOKP)???
I have installed Apex launcher but the notifications bar not changed
Sorry for my language!
The notification bar is built into the ROM and cannot easily be changed such as the launcher; Android simply does not expect you to.
Over time tweaked and enhanced notification bars might pop up for flashing through CWM, but they usually are rom-dependent.
Thank you!
You sure can. Look here...

I know what you mean. I came from Lord Clockans Ice Cold Sandwich rom which had all those options. I miss them too! Unfortunately, at the moment nothing like that is available (to my knowledge). It's the price we pay for getting a device as soon as its released. The good news is that given time all those options will likely be available on the S3 too. Keep an eye out in the themes and apps forum.
Good!
OT:
when it is available ( CM9 ) ???

[PORT][ROM][ICS/Jelly Bean mod]JellyBlast V3.0.5 [OTA5]
I really wanted to post this to the forum above, but dont have enough forum posts, is there anyway to disable lockscreens altogether?????? I would like to use the Holo lockscreen or WP7 but they seem to have issues overiding the lockscreens already on the Jellybean ROM.
Thanks for updating the message colours, ROM much appreciated

"The forum above" would be the wrong place to post this (how is it related to development? => It's not). This is the correct place.
AFAIK, there's no way to do what you want to do (disable the stock lockscreen and it only). Might want to make sure your alternate lockscreens always have enough memory, or else they'll be killed and won't be able to override the default lockscreen.
Yes there is a way to do it
Open your notification panel and go to extreme right
There you will see a toggle showing lock icon
Disabled it by clicking on it and voila
Well, next time
Ask your questions on Q&A section.

Hey guys.
Like the title says i wonder if there is a way to change my XU's transparent bar led color, i searched before posting this but found very unclear answers, i would like a clear way to do this. (i.e: when i select "Silk" theme, the led changes to whiteish, but i want it to turn dark red instead)
Thanks in advance, and yes, i am rooted w/ bootloader unlocked.

Thank you, it's a great app indeed, just what i been looking for.
I don't know if it's available on every rom, but in CM9, there is an option in Settings -> Display -> Status Led (something like that, my phone is in French). There you can choose how the LED Bar reacts for every application on your phone. I find it easier and lighter than the softs available on Play Store.
Hello, is there any possibility to keep the status / notification bar ALWAYS visible (for fullscreen apps for example)
I'm not searching for an app which can make the bar visible if i do a gesture or anything else in a full screen app
just keeping the notification bar always visible is my request
thank you
I'm using I9000 (SGS) with 4.2.2 AOKP
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.jskt.togglestatusbar&hl=en
I found this useful for monitoring CPU usage, frequency, temperature, RAM, when overclock benchmarking.
thank you ill definately ceck it out (;

Have you figured out how to do it by modifying the AOSP code?
Thanks
Giuseppe
Still helpful years later, thanks!
So did you ever find a way to do this? The link in the responses doesn't work anymore..

Hello, did anyone find a solution for this? Thanks!
When I receive a notification of any kind there used to be a clear button.. As of last night it has gone missing. I'm running alliance ROM build 25. Clean installed. I know I could just use to aosp clear button...but I don't like it. Maybe I disabled it tinkering with all these options and now cannot find it again. Can someone maybe point me to the right direction to find it again? I should also say that I flashed black glass theme from the ota installer. But the clear button was there before and after flashing it. Any help you be very much appreciated.
Moderator's... Please delete post. Found the answer I was looking for.

Custom settings-Rom control-statusbar & toggles-notification panel options- notification title checked... Restart UI to apply
Took me hours to figure that one out!
Thank you!
It's funny cause it has two similar options to check.
Notifications title □ show/hide
No notifications title □ show/hide
There's so many options it fun and confusing sometimes but heck it's hard to remember/learn what does what thanks again
