Radio update failure - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hi all!
I've got a big problem! maybe someone can help!
Got xt910, with 673.94.324.XT910.PSHAsiaRetail.en.03.xml installed. I got radio U_04.08.00R. This radio is awful, it drains my battery very quick, and the signal is very weak.
So i decided to get the new radio. I have downloaded full xml's and took out of them "radio.img"
1. When i flash it over FASTBOOT, everything goes fine, until it gets to stock recovery, where i get th following error
assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img")
e:Error in /cache/update_radio.zip
Status7
So the radio version remains.
2. Tried to flash bp.img over the bootmenu manager and got:
Flashing: /emmc/bp.img
Finding update package
Opening update package
Installing update... - здесь подвисает
assert failed: motorola.motoflash(getprop(firmware.path"))
E:error in /preinstall/bootmenu/script/radio.zip
(Status 7)
Flashing aborted.
3. I've got an OTA update available, so i'm trying to update over the air. Device downloads the update file, reboots, and i get somehow like Update unsuccessful.
4. I tried to update the radio by the official OTA through the motorola device manager. It also downloads the OTA file, reboots the device, and after that tells somehow:"Error, THE DEVICE SERIAL NUMBER:UNKNOWN
So i've got no ideas what to do. PLEASE help me someone (((((((((

Where?
Where did you downloaded the radio ?

Did you extract the zip file and then copy the bp.img out?
Try this:
1. Get the full radio.img from the latest fastboot file, make sure you don't copy it out of the zip, extract it first.
2. From the fastboot file, copy Moto-fastboot, and the 2 adb dll files into a new folder along with the radio.img
3. Copy cmd.exe from wherever it is located and paste into the new folder
4. Connect the phone to the pc, the reboot into the boot loader by holding all buttons vol+ vol- power
5. Open cmd.exe and type the following:
moto-fastboot erase cache
moto-fastboot flash radio radio.img
moto-fastboot reboot
The phone should boot into recovery on its own and flash the radio files.

i want reflash radio U_04.11.01P to one another becouse i have problems with downloading by wifi. and such problem
1. When i flash it over FASTBOOT, everything goes fine, until it gets to stock recovery, where i get th following error
assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img")
e:Error in /cache/update_radio.zip

2. Tried to flash bp.img over the bootmenu manager and got:

Did anyone find a fix for this ? I have a xt910 with the same situation. It doesn't flash bp images and report this error.
assert failed: motorola.motoflash(getprop(firmware.path"))

Flash the recovery that matches the radio firmware version you are trying to flash from the same XML.zip.

Is there a way to find out the AMSS version
Do I need to change the sequence DSP1 first then AMSS or something?
What am I doing wrong here. Please help

You may have something out of sync... first of all no need to root separately because the ROM comes rooted
I would flash stock ROM 360 recovery and then the ROM to get e erything back in sync
Once you have let the stock ROM maybe boot a couple times go into fastboot and flash the amss and the dsp1files and then let it boot a couple more times
Fastboot again and flash Streakmod and then boot into recovery and flash your custom ROM
This procedure is what has worked for me... hope it helps you out

Thanks for the reply cdzo72 but where do I find the 2.2 stock rom for the streak? The problem now I have is that the phone does not recognize my SIM card, probably the baseband mess up or the dsp1. The previous baseband file was GAUSB1A140314-US I was able to find the 315 baseband file but got the same error of simcard not found. Is there a 314 baseband file?

That's the link for the Dell Streak Wiki where you will find all the info you need. I would update to the latest retail 360 ROM which will update all your phone's files.
i found a way around the dreaded
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img". "boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/GS2_3beta2.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
i was running froyo 2.2 and had to downgrade to 2.1 to be able to root and install modding apps such as streakmod, i followed all of the proper steps to install streakdroid. and i got the same error, so i went back and i made a copy of the "boot.img" from the zip. copied it to my c:/streak folder and flashed the "boot.img" before i installed the rom. then installed the rom. you still get the install error. shutdown the device disconnect battery then reboot the device and the rom is installed. it unpacks everything except the boot.img but since its already been flashed it'll boot. i've been running the beta version for 3 weeks now and no hangups or random reboots. *do this at your own risk* i didnt think it would work and i havent seen anyone else try this. i wont be held responsible if you brick. i might have just gotten lucky. but it did work for me. and its very stable on my streak5

Need HELP bricked my device

I was trying to install a rom with the help of boot menu manager and something went wrong in the process.
When I was stuck in a bootloop i tried searching and asking for help and tried to follow this
guide:-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1883640
but after i switched to ap fastboot and tried to install the ota from my ext sd-card I got an error,
error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip

restoring config end
installation aborted.
Please help ! I dont think I did anything wrong in this guide except fro renaming boot_new_41.img to boot_new.img as cmd was not taking such a coomand with improper filename.
Thanks in advance.
you can try sbf: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_spyder/list.php HOW TO USE IT:

[Q] HTC One X+ stuck in bootloop

I have an HOX+. I tried installing Cyanogenmod on it through CWM recovery. However, the installation got aborted in between and it read something like this.
Finding update package...
Installing update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "enrc2b" | | getprop("ro.build.product") == "enrc2b"
E:Error in /sdcard/0/cm-10.1.3-enrc2b.zip
(status 7)
Installation Aborted.
I figured I have to install the boot.img file first before flashing the rom. So I flashed the boot.img file from PC using fastboot command prompt. After that I tried to install the Cyanogen again through CWM but got the same message again and worse still, now my device is stuck in bootloop. Fastboot and CWM still work but the device doesn’t go beyond the “HTC quietly brilliant” logo when I try to switch it on.
I tried restoring the nandroid backup which I made in CWM. The restoration process finishes without any hiccups(or at least that’s what CWM shows) but phone’s still stuck in bootloop.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Flash the boot.img out of your nandtoid

Do i keep them in ZIP format or will have to use RAR format.

Did you flash cwm recovery? If not then you can download it from here: http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-sunfire.img
To flash it go into fastboot mode and use the following comand:
moto-fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-sunfire.img
unlock failed
I tried to unlock again , this time it ran for 98% and failed , but still when i boot it shows unlocked
I wouldn't use RSD after unlocking my phone, if the process of RSD flashing is interrupted (The usb cable got disconected, a black out, etc) the phone would most likely hard brick. You said it flashed until 98%, can you still access the menu by pressing power and vol -?
yes
yes can access menu can you still access the menu by pressing power and vol
moto-fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-sunfire.img this img doesnot run in demon tool
Can you msg ur num to [email protected] , ill msg u on watsup all pics step by step

Sadly I don't have whatsup, anyways I think you just need to flash the custom recovery to be able to flash cm10. If you downloaded moto-fastboot from my attachments, unzip it on the root of you hard disk (C:\). After that copy the recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-sunfire.img inside moto-fastboot-win32 folder (C:\moto-fastboot-win32) See the attachment
Put your phone into fastboot mode by pressing the power button and vol -, when you see fastboot below the word unlocked press vol +
Open CMD and type:
cd \moto-fastboot-win32
moto-fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-sunfire.img
moto-fastboot reboot
After that you should have a new recovery menu.
done
On doing this i got the following message::
flashing partition recovery
flashing mbr to device
flashing stormgr partition : sos
what would be the next step
After that reboot your phone using moto-fastboot reboot. Now enter the recovery menu and try to flash your rom.
unable to restart

now the only way to restart is by removing battery .as nothing happens on power button nor volume keys

CM 10
Can you please upload any working CM 10 \ 9 .
Might be the rom im trying to install is corrupt
Which CM10 version are you trying to install? Can you provide me the link to the thread?
cm-10.1.3-xt897
cm-10.1.3-xt897
this is the one im trying , not sure where i found it .
think this is the one
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=xt897
I see what's wrong that CM10 rom is for another phone, the Photon Q. This phone is the Photon 4G (MB855) which I know would confuse anyone >.< You just need to find the right CM10 for your phone and install it. I'll try to find some links and provide them to you if you can't find any.

Unbrick phone with connect to adb, install custom recovery or install new system

Hi. I unlocked bootloader on my ZTE Axon 7 mini B12. I did everything like here. Next step I want was deploy TWRP with this tuliptool and with this img. Unfortunately, though I received a message on terminal "Success!" i didn't have TWRP and I still had standard recovery (and I still have). I read that I have to first upgrade my 6.0.1 to 7.1.1, so I tried update like here. One again unfortunately update failed. Next step was install boot images this thread. After that I have never ending bootloop.
So, now only what I can is boot to standard recovery and try do something with adb sideload. When I try "adb devices" i see my phone but with "unauthorized". When I try install new recovery or rom with "adb sideload <package>" i have an error in terminal:
Code:
connecting...
Total xfer: 0.00x
and on phone:
Code:
Finding update package...
Opening update package
Veryfing update package
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed
E:open file /cache/fora/error_code error errno = 2
Instalation aborted
Have anyone some resolution to install new ROM, new recovery or connect to adb with recovery?
