1. Check if something hasn't been asked before
Some questions just keep popping up over and over. Please use the 'search' function in the menu above each and every page in the forum. Try entering a few keywords to see if your question has been asked before. If it has, please read the topics and see if you can figure it our from there.
(We acknowledge that part of the problem is that we never created a well-organized system of FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) documents. But then we're doing lots of cutting-edge stuff, and we'd rather build cool tools than work on perfecting FAQs.

PLEASE USE A SEARCH option of this forum.
For ATOM ROM, its easy to see the thread about the available ROM.
Which is BEST? The thread itself will give you the answer.
About touchflo ROM, we dont have ROM with touchflo already. YOU need to install it separately.

THE MAIN KEY HERE: DONT BE LAZY on reading..HOPE u understand my friend. We're tired of answering questions that has been hundred times asked.

Hi all,
I have a Archos 7 Home Tablet V2 with Android 2.1 installed.

And how can i do that....... i think it is different then i do on my phone. ;-)
Can someone please help me with some information.

But i think i can ask this question here because its an Archos.
If this is the only thing you can say and you cant give me some support please don't reply.
Yes i know the hardware is difference but maybe there is a person who can help me with finding the right place.

[Q] Hot to... / Instructions

Hi everyone,
can someone tell me where i can find a detailed instruction, how to put onother rom on my Galaxy Tab 10.1v?
I am absolut new to this and i need an instruction how to flash from the beginning (preperation) till the end (finished flashed device).
I find the roms and everything, but nowhere an instruction.
Please help me
Thanks a lot!
chris
Hem...don't you see the stickies ?
However, on advice : use Ubuntu to work things out...
I dont want ubuntu, i want, 3.1 witz touchwiz...
You don't get it : using Ubuntu as an OS allows you to flash the Recovery (needed to flash ROMS) more easily than Windows.
Again : check the stickies ! Unlock your bootloader and get root is all you need.
Okay, got this, but then, when i have the 3.1 files, what then? There is noch instruction, sorry, but i am new to this, everyone startet once for the first time like me. So please be paitent

I Have a Novo7 Elf myself, they just came out with a new baked rom on 4.0.3 ICS and it runs so much smoother than the stock 4.0.3. I found a forum for my tab at Slatedroid.

hello,
please, can you give me the rom and the process to install ICS 4.0.3.
Thank you very much
sorry i'm french...
The rom can be found in the above mentioned link. Also the instructions can be found at the slatedroid forum. Which tablet and rom do you have now? Let me know if you cant find the posts. I'll repost them here. Somewhere.
sent from my X10 running Feralab's v12 gaming rom, DooMKerneL v6.

Some questions before acting.

Hello. I joined today to the happy(?) owners of Archos 101 G9 turbo group. After purchase I instantly searched XDA for the device, and found this section. My device is running newest 4.0.7 update. Some questions came to my mind after reading tutorials here. I listed them here, and hope someone can help me by answering them.
1. There is a nice tutorial for rooting and installing sde. Are they still working with this 4.0.7 update?
2. How does the downgrading work? Is it just by using older root image?
3. In multiboot menu section i noticed that someone had it working with 4.0.7, but newest version was 4.0.6. Is there a link i missed?
It was the zimage version 4.0.6.
4. There is a rom which has more 3g modems working. Does it work with multiboot, or will it overwrite the "main" rom?
No. I only added required files to custom rom.
And lastly,
5. There is a way to make ubuntu working. Multiboot menu didn't support flashing kernel, so does it require kernel change before using?
Yes. I had to use kernel which supported ubuntu.
I apologise if these are stupid questions, but I rather ask than brick. I hope you understand
Edit: answered some of my questions.

1. Yes, it works fine, download the rooted 4.0.7 firmware and flash it after enabling SDE.
2. Why would you want to downgrade?
