Hey guys,
Im going to try out The DonutHD Rom, that shall be installed by xrecovery and is stock based... further i am planning to use doomkernel fir stockbased roms.
Now is my question: Can I install uot themes, mods and others over this (or stock roms in general) via Clovkwordmod, because i needed xrecovery for rom itself? Or can I even install the ROM by cwm?
I know the difference beetween xrecovery and cwm (cwm installs in the kernel and xrecovery over it or somethin like this , thats why i am not sure at all)
I hope you understood i did my best with my english skills^^

To update wolfbreak 4.0 to 4.1 do i just flash 4.1? and which kernel would be better to use? zKernel or tkymgrkernel?
thanks in advance
You can just install the zip file in x-recovery over the top. I haven't played around with the custom kernels yet so I can't comment on that...

Just flash it over the top, no need to wipe anything.
If you dont need OC and UV better use stock kernel. Stable, no issues, fps uncapped.
But if you need a stable OC/UV i recommended freekernel 4.0 by tkymgr, but custom kernel still need a time to develop to be more benefits than stock.
So far i prefer stock kernel since custom kernel still give us little benefits.

Where can I download the Wolfbreak 4.0 ?!?!?!?!
You can find it under the android development section. Its a custom ROM so you need to have rooted your phone to use. All the instructions on what to do are there... enjoy.

im confused About installing ArcMini ROM...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225668
-------------------------
because it says:
Instructions
* Just install V15 ArcMini V6 via CWM recovery if you have custom kernel. [Wipe data/factory reset before installation]
* Install V15 ArcMini Modules after installing the ROM if you have stock kernel.
--------------------------
while in the download section:
Downloads
Download V15 ArcMini V6
[For Custom Kernels]
http://www.multiupload.com/O9SUCS075Q
Download V15 ArcMini V6 Modules
[Install This if you have Stock Kernel]
http://www.multiupload.com/ISQRUNRE1B
--------------------------
i do have a stock kernel...
the instruction says "Install V15 ArcMini Modules after installing the ROM if you have stock kernel"
it says intall the rom before the modules
so where is the link for stock kernel ROM?
the only included download in this thread is
--ROM is for Custom Kernel and
--ONLY the modules for Stock Kernel (which is only KB's)...
in short, how can i install modules if i dont have the ArcMini ROM for Stock Kernel...
thanks...
You install the rom for the custom kernel and then install the modules.
The only difference between a ROM designed for custom kernels and stock kernal is the modules and a config file. The module folder has these missing files and makes it work on stock kernel.
Its more efficient to release one ROM at 100mb rather than 2, particularly if the only difference is 1-2mb of modules.

I have installed v7 and I have noticed that multi touch doesn't work.i have stock kernel and I have installed modules too.i also have a problem with contacts when I use themes from theme chooser.is there anything I can do about these?

I've posed on the dev forum about the contacts being weird so it'll probably get fixed on the next release. Not sure about multitouch though as mine is working...

feralab doesn"t require a certain recovery(xrecovery or cwm) and work with both bootloader, what are the only issues you'll ever have with a custom rom so no you can just install feralab rom v28 harmony over your old custom rom
