[Q] Question About ArcMini ROM... - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

im confused About installing ArcMini ROM...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225668
-------------------------
because it says:
Instructions
* Just install V15 ArcMini V6 via CWM recovery if you have custom kernel. [Wipe data/factory reset before installation]
* Install V15 ArcMini Modules after installing the ROM if you have stock kernel.
--------------------------
while in the download section:
Downloads
Download V15 ArcMini V6
[For Custom Kernels]
http://www.multiupload.com/O9SUCS075Q
Download V15 ArcMini V6 Modules
[Install This if you have Stock Kernel]
http://www.multiupload.com/ISQRUNRE1B
--------------------------
i do have a stock kernel...
the instruction says "Install V15 ArcMini Modules after installing the ROM if you have stock kernel"
it says intall the rom before the modules
so where is the link for stock kernel ROM?
the only included download in this thread is
--ROM is for Custom Kernel and
--ONLY the modules for Stock Kernel (which is only KB's)...
in short, how can i install modules if i dont have the ArcMini ROM for Stock Kernel...
thanks...

You install the rom for the custom kernel and then install the modules.
The only difference between a ROM designed for custom kernels and stock kernal is the modules and a config file. The module folder has these missing files and makes it work on stock kernel.
Its more efficient to release one ROM at 100mb rather than 2, particularly if the only difference is 1-2mb of modules.

that's y ur gettin bootloop... do u have mini? well this ROM is a themed version of the gingerdx port for x10 mini PRO by (Originally D4) Eyama and paul-xxx... if you install it on anything else than mini pro then it wont work.

I have installed v7 and I have noticed that multi touch doesn't work.i have stock kernel and I have installed modules too.i also have a problem with contacts when I use themes from theme chooser.is there anything I can do about these?
Sent from my U20i using xda premium

I've posed on the dev forum about the contacts being weird so it'll probably get fixed on the next release. Not sure about multitouch though as mine is working...

I have also noticed that the keyboard light is always on.even in the daylight.is there any application to fix it?
Sent from my U20i using xda premium

Is there any possibility to remake the Application tray 3x3 so that the icons are bigger?or this is something not possible?
Sent from my U20i using xda premium

@ioannakal @obsidian_eclipse Everything is fixed in ArcMini X.
try it....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225668

Wish if the keyboard have no language bar ....

[Q] Best Rom for X10 mini not pro

hello my friend got a completely stock x10 mini
his bluetooth is not working
so i guess am going to flash it
can anyone suggest the best rom and how to plz!
(the phone was never updated)
obviously cm7 2.1.9 is the best..for fully working mini!!!!
and if u are interested in advanced modes of developmental rom's,..use MIUI or ICS..but both have some issue regarding camera,3D,wifi,And audio....
Installation!!!
1) root your device using super one click
2) flash the rom using clockworkmod recovery ..for this you need the latest kernel of nAa
Thanks :-D

Kernel + Achotjan Lite

I love Achotjan's Lite stock ROM. I've been trying to OC/UV my phone though, and every kernel I've tried (FeraKernel, FreeKernel, DoomKernel) has the wifi error, even after flashing the wifi packs in xRec. I even tried 2 versions of FeraKernel hoping to get one working. Any suggestions?
I think Wifi modules have to be flashed in cwm.

Hmmm, I don't see why xrec wouldn't work...

Because xrec works on amend scripting which is old
Cwm works on edify scripting.
So wifi modules can be flashed only in cwm unless you edit its updater-script yourself
I used doom kernels kernel and wifi moduled let to be flashed just by ,recovery, not cwm or any and for me it worked perfectly. just choose there the right wifi modules.

CWM on Stock based ROM???

Hey guys,
Im going to try out The DonutHD Rom, that shall be installed by xrecovery and is stock based... further i am planning to use doomkernel fir stockbased roms.
Now is my question: Can I install uot themes, mods and others over this (or stock roms in general) via Clovkwordmod, because i needed xrecovery for rom itself? Or can I even install the ROM by cwm?
I know the difference beetween xrecovery and cwm (cwm installs in the kernel and xrecovery over it or somethin like this , thats why i am not sure at all)
I hope you understood i did my best with my english skills^^

You have to flash the kernel present inside the rom zip.

those rom which has a kernel included in the zip means u have to use that kernel. roms that do not have kernel in zip can be used with compatible kernel depending on the base of the rom

I'm not sure what you're asking, but i guess you want to know how to get it working on the stock SE kernel? That is not possible, if you can't unlock your bootloader and use custom kernels you can't use that rom.

I don't know, it should be ported to nAa kerne, might be hard or easy. Ask the developer for more information
There's another rom which is called "blur " for x8, search for it on x10mini's roms, its really cool & recommended
