I am trying to use the ruu to get my phone serviced at Sprint... But I keep getting error 155 even when I try to use it on fast boot... Any suggestions

If I'm not mistaken, that error shows up when you haven't re locked the bootloader. In fastboot type fastboot oem lock

Had same issue. Do not have a fix sadly. RUU matched the installed software with same error. If you rooted via RegawMod, relocked using fastboot OEM, and got the same error, we have the exact same issue.
But make sure your RUU matches your installed OS. Qbking77 has a great video explaining this on YouTube.

Yeah sounds like we have the same issue...Just really sucks cuz now I dont have a phone
Something you can try is a blank sd card that has been formatted threw your phone. Then try booting into your bootloader and running the ruu.

IT IS NOT THE SAME!believe me!if you don't unlock via htcdec(with other method) you can revert back to locked s-on.if you unlock with htcdev you can only go to relocked s-on so they know you messed with your phone.unfortunately,for hboot 1.5 there is no other method.only for 1.4

Just downgrade your hboot using cd method, use 1.40+revolutionary, use powduh/commonsens/meanrom and custom kernel and you will find your phone flying high... And at last you still can get back to haboot 1.50 locked

I don't know if the same is true for the GSM model, but doing the JuopunutBear (wire trick) method for S-OFF left the two CDMA Evo 3D's that I have with a ***LOCKED*** bootloader even though it was ***UNLOCKED*** previously, and those were both on hboot 1.5. The bootloaders are still ***LOCKED*** and I use custom hboots to be able to use the fastboot commands that a locked stock bootloader doesn't allow.

Then download the AIO toolkit I mentioned.

i try to unlock bootloader on htcdev but there is no HTC Amaze asia verson only Mobilicity,T-mobile and Wind then how can i unlock my bootloader and get correct token.

If there is no international version, use the T-Mobile version. Trust me pretty much everything here is T-Mobile based. You should use hasoons toolkit or the windroid toolkit that was recently released.

You need to use the T-Mobile version because pretty much all the ROMS use a T-Mobile base. Trust me just use the T-Mobile one. :thumbup:

Hello not a newbie to rooting phones but having some major issues with adb which i am new to but i cannot understand why or if i am doing something wrong in the proccess. I followed the instuction to the 'T' and no luck in it working. My phones boot loader is MONARUDO PVT SHIP S-ON RH; HBOOT 1.54.000. I followed these instructions on android police androidpolice.com/2012/11/24/exclusive-how-to-unlock-the-droid-dnas-bootloader/. If anyone has tips they would be greatly appreciated! How can i gain root access and is it possible with my boot loader type?

Ok so I am kind of new to the whole roming and custom kernels and such. Well I really screwed up I had a rom flashed and it had a few bugs and I just wanted to go to stock again. I wanted something that would work and work well. So I downloaded the RUU and installed it and what not and I get to the signature part and I get a code 155. I have tried locking it unlocking it reflashing a recovery and putting a rom on it and still not luck. I really need someones help. Thanks

155 likely means you are s-on and unlocked. If s-on you need to be locked to flash the ruu
