Hu guys
I have unlocked Bootloader using HTCdev.com
its not completely root :s
still s-on
so how can I s-off for full root??
Hboot : 1.49.0012
or maybe I have to downgrade Hboot then s-off using "revolutionary.io" ??
any Idea?

I am trying to use the ruu to get my phone serviced at Sprint... But I keep getting error 155 even when I try to use it on fast boot... Any suggestions
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
If I'm not mistaken, that error shows up when you haven't re locked the bootloader. In fastboot type fastboot oem lock
When in doubt, use the search function for XDA:

Had same issue. Do not have a fix sadly. RUU matched the installed software with same error. If you rooted via RegawMod, relocked using fastboot OEM, and got the same error, we have the exact same issue.
But make sure your RUU matches your installed OS. Qbking77 has a great video explaining this on YouTube.

Yeah sounds like we have the same issue...Just really sucks cuz now I dont have a phone
Something you can try is a blank sd card that has been formatted threw your phone. Then try booting into your bootloader and running the ruu.

In the link I posted there's an explanation
First, find the correct ruu.
Then download the AIO toolkit I mentioned.
Report back when you have done this.

If there is no international version, use the T-Mobile version. Trust me pretty much everything here is T-Mobile based. You should use hasoons toolkit or the windroid toolkit that was recently released.

You need to use the T-Mobile version because pretty much all the ROMS use a T-Mobile base. Trust me just use the T-Mobile one.

I have a EVO 3D from Virgin Mobile. I have unlocked the bootloader using HTCDev, S-off using the JBear wire trick and have the VM_ICS_2.95.652.5710RD_DEODEX_3-24 ROM installed currently because it was needed to do the s-off.
I was going to install VILLUMINATI but that failed to install so I tried HOOD POPE, Pac-Man and LiquidSmooth but all of them failed to install and gave me the failed getprop( ro.bootloader ) error. I currently have TWRP 2.6.3.0 installed as per the requirement for VILLUMINATI.
I then reflashed the DEODEX and the phone boots, no problems.
I'm thinking that something needs updated to be able to flash one of the aforementioned ROMs but I don't know what is needed. Could someone please point me in the right direction?
ROM Information -
Android Ver. 4.0.3
Sense Ver. 3.6
Software #. 2.95.652.5 710RD
Kernel Ver. 3.0.16-g3a7b522
Baseband Ver. 1.09.00.0108
PRI Ver. 1.56_144
PRL Ver. 32030
Recovery Info -
Shooter XC Ship S-Off RL
HBOOT - 1.57.5757
Radio - 1.09.00.0108
OpenADSP - v02.6.0.226.00.0217

If any more info is needed pleas feel free to request it. Thank you in advance.

Should I use the regular CDMA HBOOT 1.50 or the Juopunutbear Patched Hboot 1.50? I'm already unlocked and used the JBear S-Off.
I usually use the jbear 1.50.5050
Right now I'm using 1.04 eng
Any should work as long as its for CDMA
I am on Virgin btw
