CM10 LED Issue - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Hey guys. I've been using CM10 nightlies forever. I've been patiently waiting for a fix (if any) on the LED issue. So whats happening is after a fresh flash all notifications have a steady no pulse LED on which I don't want. I want it to be green and pulse. So I changed the setting to normal pulse in Display>LED settings but now it pulses red/orange instead of green. So I can't tell if my battery is dieing or I have a notification. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that's a known issue

It seems to work out of the box for most. Make sure you haven't changed any of the led color settings to a dark color, and make sire you don't have quiet hours enabled with dim led checked.

For me it worked right out of the box. I'm running CM7 build #58, and I upgraded from a previous build, and was running Glitch. The notifications stopped working after the upgrade, so I re-flashed Glitch and it was back up and running like gold.
Well ive reflashed several times and still no led notifs) :
Maybe its worth noting that on kernel du jour, led notifs with bln were buggy; if i got a notif, lights twitched, then i had to touch them to make them light up

If you're rooted, you can use a custom kernel. HTC hasn't released the source for the 2.3.4 kernel though. You can look at the nolights kernel thread based on 2.3.3 to get an idea or see if someone can compile a custom kernel for you once HTC releases the source.

There's a value somewhere in the sys folder (waaay down in there) that should allow for changes to this, not sure of any specifics; PM a dev if you don't get a response in here they might be able to help out.

Truncated / Cut short SMS Notifications

Hi guys,
I'm having a weird bug with SMS notifications on my S3, when I get a text it will cut short or sometimes not even play the notification sound. I've tried various tones, restarting the phone, changing the settings off - reboot - turn setting back on, but nothing is sorting it... Anyone else had this issue and been able to resolve it?
Thanks,
J
Same problem here, its totally random.
I've noticed this myself a few times as well.
I had it, I changed to a different notification sound and that fixed it. Not sure if you can go back after? Whistle annoyed me so didn't try.

Do you keep your phone screen down on a table, there's a motion settings to mute ringtones if the phone is placed screen down on a table.

thanks for the idea, but this is with my phone face up on the sofa arm!

I am having the exact same issue, although it only appears to do it with custom sounds that I have added, I have not been able to replicate it using stock sounds

Ambient/Proximity sensor emitting dim red light 24/7

I have a strange problem. My phone's ambient/proximity sensor seems to be glowing dim red all the time. its really visible in the dark. it only starts to glow when the phone has booted into android. during the booting it stays off.
I understand some people will think I am confusing the LED for a sensor but let me assure you thats not the case. I am actuallt talking about the sensor situated on the right side of the earpiece beside the "SAMSUNG"'s letter G.
Its from Viber. Uninstal it.

Thank You, That seems to fix the problem. However whenever I use the messaging app the dim red light comes on again.
Furthermore, Is this dangerous ? as I would just ignore it and keep using viber if its not a big deal.
Thanks

[Q] Lightflow constant LED?

Hello everyone,
Okey when I had my Nexus and used the Lightflow app, and a certain notification popped up in the notification bar (that notification was setup in Lightflow with a blinking LED) with screen on it would also blink.
On my note2, if my screen is on and I get that notification, it doesn't blink. I have no idea why.
Anybody familiar with Lightflow? Any ideas how I can make Lightflow blink with screen on?
Sent from my AK-55
Have you checked out Lightflows settings to make sure that you have that checked? Also that may only be a option in the paid version of Lightflow. Im not very familiar with it but it should under settings I would think.
Edit:
Just treated it for myself and it works perfectly on the free version. Click on the app in you app drawer, click settings, enable root mode, enable Samsung mode, then set your apps up.
I tested it on a low battery and it wouldn't quit flashing or give me a notification to turn it off like it does with email and other apps so I had to set it to go off after one minute for the low battery warning. I think the only reason it didn't have a pop ip was because the battery was already at 9%. The light stayed on the entire time the screen was on also.

No problem, its a bit annoying when it wouldnt show the notification for the battery so you may have that problem in the future or it may just be cause I tested it with a low battery.
