Nope not possible Windows phone OS is closed source so drivers and porting is pretty much 100% impossible, only device s that have drivers now have windows phone they will not be any porting to android devices im sure.
Sorry but if you want to try windows phone go down to a phone store and give it a try

Thanks pal! Yeah, Windows update said that some of those frameworks were needed and I updated them. I also installed Sony Media Go which installs more of those frameworks. I tried the compatibility troubleshooter but that didn't help at all.

ooooops!!! but working nicely on windows 7....
I'm still on XP. Isn't that weird?
flashing in win 8 maybe is a big risk, should try other win version.
Win 8 is a beta version, and not include full drivers or funtions.
In several times internet explorer crash for example.
Sorry i know, my english is bad XB
What is a good android emulator for windows xp?
Is there any way I can try out Sense 4.0 on my pc with an emulator?
Thanks!
The emulator that comes with the Android SDK is ok especially now that they allowed hardware acceleration.Abd as fir the sense thing you would have to load up a custom rom and there is a tutorial on how to do this just google for it.

The most realistic one is the Android sdk since it emulates ARM hardware which means it can get a bit laggy. The smoothest one is Bluestacks alpha but its running an x86 build of Android which makes it fast on x86 hardware but restricts apps. Looking forward to their beta that is supposed to have ARM compatibility and still be fast.
The android sdk I tried but I cant install .apk that are on my computer. Ill have to try installing a rom.
Bluestacks looks interesting. Is there a download link for the alpha?

Yes but.....
Hello,
Yes, but the beta version coming soon, actually android 2.3.4 ( in the future ??? )
asks go(d)ogle or on XDA there's mod
Note : for XP, need SP3 and 1gb memory (min.)
Use HD-ApkHandler.exe in the install dir ( the two services "BlueStacks Log Rotator Service"(for log) and "BlueStacks Android Service" (for SDCard.fs) must be run).
Tricks to edit SDCard.fs > Stop services and use Winimage.exe, it work very fine

They pulled the alpha download since a beta is coming soon. Google the following file and you'll find 3rd party download links. Its about 120MB.
BlueStacks_HD_AppPlayer_setup_0.6.2.0563_REL.msi

But I don't think they are too far away from the beta release, put your email in on their website to be a beta tester. Really hoping the beta is running ICS. I look forward to seeing how smooth they can get ARM emulation running. They want it to work well enough for games so the end product shouldn't be laggy. Part of the reason the alpha is fast is because its only virtualizing since its running an x86 build of Android.
BlueStacks Beta got released today http://bluestacks.com/
Unfortunately its not working on my pc
What do you think is the best Operating System for a Developer to use, Windows or Linux???(Please before answering use your brain)

definitely linux. nuff said. compiling from source need linux.
only wannabe uses windows to repack another rom with some cheap theme, gives full blown name, upload and claims its a new rom.
real dev uses linux to compile from scratch.

rom porting even if doesnt need compiling new kernel atleast need modified ramdisk.
afaik ramdisk can only be unpack and repack in linux. dont know if it works natively in windows or with cygwin. even so cygwin is hell trying to figure out its dependency properly.
u better of installing full linux distro then trying to configure cygwin
point is, for hardcore dev job only linux can satisfy the needs
So do you guys think I shall use Linux as my default OS?

This is not a problem, I have one hard drive too and have dual boot. Read about installing for example ubuntu behind windows and how does grub works.
ughh forgot about this.
ubuntu/linuxmint also got wubi. its installed them side by side with windows, within windows itself. to install it is just by clicking wubi installer like u always do with other windows apps

Downloand Launcher 7 from Google Play, use Milocker and search for a lockscreen theme when you swipe the screen up to unlock, and tada! you have the same appearance and feeling of Windows 7/8.
I really don't see any benefits of that system, or something that Android isn't capable to do, unless you're a developer and want to test your apps built for different platforms, but trying to install a different system on a device that isn't meant to run it, it just won't be that easy.
I was just asking, can I install android x86 on xbox original? I know you can install linux. I just found it on the side of the road and plug it up and it worked fine. So if i can't, what other OS's can I install

Sadly currently you can't install Android x86 on the Xbox you would have to do a lot of porting work to get it to work. If your looking for operating systems and distros you can install on your Xbox I would recommend taking a look at this list http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_Linux#List_of_Distributions.
